I took most things like washing up liquid, cloths, kitchen roll, toilet rolls but I needn’t had bothered as they were all provided. Even hairdryer, iron and ironing board were provided. It was like home from home.My only negative was the sofas were a little stiff and uncomfortably but as the lodge was a dog friendly one, I understand why they needed to be leather.The beds were very clean and comfortable. The Gate house has in recent times undergone a wide range of refurbishment and has been thoughtfully extended to provide a most appealing large holiday home. Inside the property is enhanced by having 1 king-size room with en-suite 2 further double rooms both with en-suite and a Twin room served by the large family bathroom sleeping up to 8 guests in comfort, we also provide a travel cot for your convenience (please don’t forget baby bedding)

Also upstairs is a small games room with PlayStation and football table and many board games to keep the little ones entertained.

Downstairs there are three reception rooms and a large family kitchen this providing all the comforts that you would require on your home from home get away.

Outside there is a large decked area with brick built BBQ and sunken hot tub, grassed area with fruit trees and shrubs.

Originally the Gate house was a pair of semi-detached gatehouses to the former railway line, converted in the early 1970s into one beautiful home. It stands opposite the landmark Woodhall Junction Station House and the water rail cycle path.
From the Gate House turn right outside the gate and in 10 yards you are on the Water Railway cycle path and next to the river Witham ideally suited for those who like to Paddle board, Cycle and for long walks. Also fishing is available during the season from the river bank
