You are surrounded by tree cover and plant life which makes it quiet even though it’s off the main road. The decor is perfect for the location. We stayed for our honeymoon and we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne in the room which was a nice touch! The private beach is very clean and kept up with; the chairs on the beach are comfortable. There are plenty of activities (kayaking, bocce, cornhole, etc.) for guests as well. This 2 bed/2bath condo is on the TOP floor of the building with spectacular views.

Begin your morning at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand on a balcony overlooking the historical Florida Key mangroves and calming waves of the Atlantic Ocean, or unwind after a long summer day's adventures with a glass of wine and a memorable sunset.

This home is self-managed, which means you will have the upmost cleanliness and attentiveness you require of the owners.

The master bedroom is equipped with a large dresser and closet, and fitted with extra blankets and sheets for your convenience. The master bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower to help rinse off all of the saltwater!

The guest bedroom has a private entrance to the the guest bathroom providing convenience to those staying in this room. This bedroom is also fitted with a closet for your personal storage use.

The living room provides a comfortable gathering space for you and your family. With a large queen size, temper-pedic foam pull-out sofa and love seat, families can get cozy for a fun movie and game night in. (And we have even provided some games and a dvd player to help with those nights spent indoors!).

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to bbq, bake, cook, and everything else in between. From a double oven to a dishwasher, keurig/coffee machine to a waffle machine - you are completely covered. Of course, all dishware is also included.

With bbq and picnic locations throughout the property, tennis/pickle ball courts, a pool and hot tube, on site beach and pier, marina and children's swing sets - it is difficult to want to leave the property. Ocean Pointe Suites Marina slip rentals are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. All boats are required to carry insurance Liability and as mandated by Ocean Pointe at Key Largo Condominium Association. Proof of insurance is required upon making reservations. Boats not carrying the minimum required coverage will not be allowed onto property.
All jet powered watercraft (i.e. jet skis, jet boats, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Boats exceeding the registered length of 28 feet are strictly prohibited.

*Fees/Charges:
Marina Facility Fee of $40.00 per night plus tax for boat parking and launch privileges. Holidays and Lobster Mini-Season will be an additional $15.00 per night over the base fee. Monthly stays are a flat $300.00 plus tax per month. This fee also allows for use of the boat washing stations. Marina: Reservations made directly through property management office. I can assist with verification of availability. The marina picture has the actual full email address listed of where to send the request.

To bring a boat or boat trailer on the property as a guest you must have a room reservation in your name for the period that you wish to have the boat on property. You must also have in your name a reservation for a boat trailer parking space and, if you are keeping your boat in the marina, you must have a reservation for an assigned boat slip. The name on the room reservation, boat registration, and insurance information must all be the same. Reservations for which all the required documentation has been received will be confirmed two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date.

Rules/Regulations/Restrictions:

-All Boats are required to carry insurance ($300K Liability and $100K Property Damage) as stated per Ocean Pointe Condominium Association. Proof of insurance is required prior to entering property. Boats not carrying the minimum required coverage will not be allowed onto property. Please attach a copy of your certificate of insurance to this form when faxing back to us. It is also necessary that you bring these documents with you as you may be asked to provide it again.

-All jet powered water crafts (i.e jet skis, jet boats, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

-Boats exceeding a registered length of 28 feet are strictly prohibited. Information on offsite availability for vessels over 28 feet and jet powered water crafts is available upon request. (Note: maximum beam with: 9’ 6”).

Fees/Charges: SUBJECT TO CHANGE. CONTACT OCEAN POINTE FOR MOST UP TO DATE FEES.

-Ocean Pointe charges a Marina Facility Fee of $40.00 per night plus tax. Holidays and Lobster Mini-Season will be an additional $15.00 per night over the base fee. Monthly stays are a flat $300.00 plus tax per month. This fee allows for use of the boat washing stations, boat launch (in/out) and facilitating the parking of your trailer on property.

- Wet slips are available at $3.00 per foot per night plus tax during Season (Mar.15-Sept. 15 & Dec. 15-Jan. 15); $2.50 per foot per night plus tax during Off-Season (Jan. 16-Mar. 14 & Sept. 16-Dec. 14); $4.00 per foot per night plus tax on holidays (Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July Weekend, and Labor Day Weekend); and $5.00 per foot per night plus tax on Lobster Mini-Season.

-Monthly Slip Rentals Only: Monthly slip rentals for vessels up to 22 feet in length are available for $1500.00 per month; monthly slip rentals for boats over 22 feet but under 28 feet are available for $2000.00 per month. For a monthly slip rental 25% of the first month’s rental is required as a deposit. The reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Notice of cancellation is required at least two weeks prior to arrival date for cancellation with refund. Any cancellation made less than two weeks prior to arrival will result in forfeit of the deposit.

PETS AND SMOKING ARE PROHIBITED

Guests will have access to the entire condo during their stay, if renting the unit as a whole.

Although we are not onsite during your stay, we do live locally and will be here to assist with as needed.

If you are bringing a boat that does not meet the requirements to use the marina or park onsite, there is another nearby marina option that you can use. Mangrove Marina is close to the property. You can call them directly if you are unable to obtain a space on site.

To bring a boat or boat trailer on the property as a guest you must have a room reservation in your name for the period that you wish to have the boat on property. You must also have in your name a reservation for a boat trailer parking space and, if you are keeping your boat in the marina, you must have a reservation for an assigned boat slip. The name on the room reservation, boat registration, and insurance information must all be the same. Reservations for which all the required documentation has been received will be confirmed two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date.

Rules/Regulations/Restrictions:

-All Boats are required to carry insurance ($300K Liability and $100K Property Damage) as stated per Ocean Pointe Condominium Association. Proof of insurance is required prior to entering property. Boats not carrying the minimum required coverage will not be allowed onto property. Please attach a copy of your certificate of insurance to this form when faxing back to us. It is also necessary that you bring these documents with you as you may be asked to provide it again.

-All jet powered water crafts (i.e jet skis, jet boats, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

-Boats exceeding a registered length of 28 feet are strictly prohibited. Information on offsite availability for vessels over 28 feet and jet powered water crafts is available upon request. (Note: maximum beam with: 9’ 6”).

Fees/Charges: SUBJECT TO CHANGE. CONTACT OCEAN POINTE FOR MOST UP TO DATE FEES.

-Ocean Pointe charges a Marina Facility Fee of $40.00 per night plus tax. Holidays and Lobster Mini-Season will be an additional $15.00 per night over the base fee. Monthly stays are a flat $300.00 plus tax per month. This fee allows for use of the boat washing stations, boat launch (in/out) and facilitating the parking of your trailer on property.

- Wet slips are available at $3.00 per foot per night plus tax during Season (Mar.15-Sept. 15 & Dec. 15-Jan. 15); $2.50 per foot per night plus tax during Off-Season (Jan. 16-Mar. 14 & Sept. 16-Dec. 14); $4.00 per foot per night plus tax on holidays (Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July Weekend, and Labor Day Weekend); and $5.00 per foot per night plus tax on Lobster Mini-Season.

-Monthly Slip Rentals Only: Monthly slip rentals for vessels up to 22 feet in length are available for $1500.00 per month; monthly slip rentals for boats over 22 feet but under 28 feet are available for $2000.00 per month. For a monthly slip rental 25% of the first month’s rental is required as a deposit. The reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Notice of cancellation is required at least two weeks prior to arrival date for cancellation with refund. Any cancellation made less than two weeks prior to arrival will result in forfeit of the deposit.

There are so many great dive and snorkeling spots within a 30 minute boat ride from the marina. It was so convenient! We brought our own boat and gear. We went out twice each day, avoiding summer storms, finding great spots each time. The condo was perfect for the four of us! It was very clean, well stocked, and the owner was very communicative. We dipped in the pool for a quick rinse after our boat trips, but the temperature was a little too warm for our liking in the June FL heat. It won’t stop us from booking another stay!"

Sangria Sunrise is in the Sailfish building; one of five buildings within the 60 acres that Ocean Pointe Suites Resort resides on. The unit itself has been recently updated and furnished with our finishing touches to make anyone feel like they are at a beachy resort whilst still having the comforts of home. The full kitchen allows you and your family to have the option to prepare your own gourmet meals. It is stocked with flatware, pots, pans, and all the basic items needed to cook your favorite dish. The granite counter tops have ample room for prepping your fresh catch or setting up your take out. Our unit hosts one bedroom that is tastefully furnished with an amazingly comfortable bed and custom linens. My wife and I were determined NOT to have those drab hotel linens that many other units utilize. The bathroom, which has also been updated, has newer tile, granite counters and all the luxuries you would need. The living room is situated where your view out is breath-taking. The pull out couch is more than large enough and comfortable enough for kids and adults. But really with the many activities within Ocean Pointe how often are you really going to be inside?
The entire property is set up to cater to any personality or desire. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is made for you. Grab your favorite book and find one of the many secluded spots to get lost in. If you are just looking to relax and get a tan, then we have the rays for you! Pick your tanning spot! Overlooking the traditional Florida Keys beach that’s only steps away from Sangria Sunrise, or grab your spot by the pool! While at the pool make sure to stop in the poolside bar for some of their fantastic drinks. If you are looking for adventure then you’ve also come to the right place! There are many local places that rent kayaks and paddle boards and will deliver them right to Ocean Pointe. Rent a kayak and explore the back country viewing all the wildlife. Grab a paddleboard and go meet a manatee. The options are endless.
Of course one of the most popular options is fishing. You are visiting the proclaimed “fishing capital of the world” so it would only be fitting to get your line wet while here! The options are everywhere. Don’t have a boat? No problem. One of the hundreds of captains can easily get your on your targeted species. From back water bone fish and tarpon to offshore mahi and tuna there is something for everyone. So you brought your own boat? That's even better! Pull your boat into the on property marina with ramp and you are all set to head out for your catch. (make sure to make your separate reservations with the Ocean Pointe marina).
So you want to go explore all the Florida Keys. Great idea, as we are very centrally located and have a short drive to everywhere! Pick a day and head South on US1 / Overseas Highway. There is a plethora of things to do and unless you are here long term you will have to choose which are your priorities. Let us help you. Leave early, and start by going to Robbie's Marina and feeding the Tarpon! We have been to the keys countless times and we still stop here every time. It also has a quaint little area with lots of small shops and touristy things that are hard to pass up. Continue South and stop at Sombrero Beach, the best white sandy beach the Keys have to offer! Enjoy a dip in the water to cool down and then continue south to Key West. You will have to stop at “Southernmost Point” which is a tourist landmark that everyone needs a selfie with. Walk the strip down main street and to save time rent a bike or golf cart. Tour the island and get a feel for the old style Keys! Getting a little tired? head back north and get all tucked in back at Sangria Sunrise. Make sure to stop at Sunset Grille by 7 mile bridge for a great dinner and beautiful sunset. Or if you are in it for the long haul watch the sunset from pier at the north end of Key West. The performers paired with the world class sunset is sure to please even the pickiest of travelers. The drive to Key West is approximately 2 hours south and is remarkable! The Florida Keys offer a fantastic variety restaurants, but with the bounty of fresh seafood available its not surprising that the cuisine of the keys is largely built around the catch of the day.

Getting Around:

A car is needed in the Florida Keys. Ocean Pointe is roughly 70 miles south of Miami International Airport and approximately a 2 hour drive to the Southern Most Point in Key West.

Proof of insurance is required upon making reservations. Boats not carrying the minimum required coverage will not be allowed onto property.

All jet powered watercraft (i.e. jet skis, jet boats, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

Upon entering the condo you'll find a light, bright and nautical two bedroom two bathroom apartment immaculately renovated with all new kitchen, bath, furniture, lighting and bedding, including stainless steel appliances and washer/dryer.

Gather in the spacious living room with your family and play a board game from the many you will have to choose from. There is also a large flat screen television to enjoy a movie for a quiet night in.

- "Excellent stay very nice property and area" - "This property was absolutely gorgeous and the ocean view was exactly as pictured. I was so relieved to find the beds were very comfortable (last year we had very hard beds at a VRBO unrelated to this property). There was plenty of closet space for both of my kids but no dresser for their clothes so we just used the suitcase. The beds were just fine for them. The master had a huge dresser, large closet, and bedside tables. My husband was very excited to find a box fan so he could sleep lol. My son's favorite part was the feral cat colony that lives on the property (very far distancefrom the condo as they are in the brush behindthe property). We saw several trash pandas (raccoons), beautiful red cardinals, lightening bugs, and multiple other wildlife. There are many restaurants and a grocery store nearby. It is about 2 hours to the bottom of the Keys. There's a snorkeling company about 15 minutes from this property and boat rentals everywhere. There is a small LAGOON on the property. I repeat LAGOON. We took this vacation for a lazy week at the beach as we fell in love with Daytona last year. This was not Daytona....there are no real beaches in the Keys. The Keys are more for your snorkeling, finishing, and scuba divers. I was so disappointed when I realized this and because the property was non-refundable we were SOL. This was solely my fault but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. Property manager was extremely responsive and easy to contact. I highly recommend this property!"
