LOCATION: The town of Cutler Bay is in the southern end of Miami-Dade County. This location is a favorite for weddings at Palmetto Bay’s Deering Estates and other locations on The Bay. The home is close to “Old Cutler Road” which offers a lovely scenic 20-minute drive to South Miami, Coral Gables, and Coconut Grove. Miami Airport is around 40 minutes and South Beach or Key Largo are 45 plus minutes. Rush hour traffic not factored into these travel times.

- "Our recent VRBO stay was a nightmare. The backyard resembled a post-storm wreckage, with a pool neglected for weeks. GREEN MOLD was visible on the pool floor. It was evident that no salt had been added to the salt system, therefore the pool salt water system had shut itself off and was not even making chlorine rendering the pool not only unsightly but also a health hazard. Attempts to contact the property manager failed, and when they finally sent someone, it was AT DAWN. When the water was tested it confirmed that there was absolutely no chlorine in the pool and the PH was way off. He dumped some chemicals in and told us to “give it 20 minutes”. When the water was retested, the chemistry was then way off in the other direction. When I asked him to retest the water before he left, he told me he was OUT OF STRIPS!!! As my daughter is a severe asthmatic with a mold trigger, we could not risk her health with such a haphazard approach. DIY disasters littered the property: gutters torn off, rusty water heaters strewn about. There was a general feeling of unkept to the property from the sagging, tired cushions to the holes and haphazard repairs to the sheetrock. WE THOUGHT WE WERE BOOKING A NICE PLACE! Communication was non-existent; our pleas for refund ignored. Despite our repeated attempts to contact them including sending pictures of everything, we were met with silence or automated responses. This LUHOS rental group failed to deliver on promises. AVOID AT ALL COST!!"
