Only downside, maybe not downside but wasn’t communicated or in the listing when we booked- you have a room immediately across the hall from you that they also rent out and then share the bathroom with these random people. It’s one thing to share with an owner because you know they’ve been vetted by VRBO, but if I were a single woman traveler and the potential of a strange man across from me wouldn’t make me feel safe. The doors DO have key locks, & there is a camera in the entry room/common area.. but I just think that’s information the listing should provide. It would be great for two couples since there are two separate bedrooms or a family with kids old enough to share the room across the hall! When we first booked with him in October he was quick to respond to any concerns we had which was nice. Then by the end of January he was asking for the final payment which we made. I sent him an e-mail almost daily as to how we would access the rental property and got no answer, we also left a telephone message for him and the next time we tried to leave a telephone message his box was full. You can verify this by reading the e-mails we sent and the calls I made to VRBO. Then 3 days before our departure I called VRBO customer service and they said they would leave him and message and text him and if I got no results to call again. Then 2 days before our departure I called VRBO customer service again and spoke with Maggie. She was most helpful and she assured us that we would be taken care of if we could not get in to the rental. Then the day before we left I got an e-mail from the owner saying that his parents lived nearby and would check us in at 5 on the 12th of February. We got there about 4:30 and waited. About 5:45 a gentleman came over and said he was the owner's father and he would let us in which he did and gave us a tour and answered any questions we had. He said his wife was driving by and saw us and that is why he came to talk to us. Then he went out and bought us a toaster because there wasn't one in the unit. Upon his return he told us he didn't know he was to meet us at 5 that no one had told him. I said I had received the e-mail form his son. After all this confusion the place was clean and we ended up having a good stay. All this to say that the owner leaves a bit to be desired as far as communication skills. It was a very stressful way to start a holiday. If I had not rented through VRBO before this would have been the last time but I had had good experiences the other times. I feel something should be done about the way this owner treats his customers. Richard Allen"

We have the sand Bar around the corner and a Publix very close by.
The entire house (3 bedrooms) is being offered. Two of the rooms are in the process of being renovated and are locked. If you were to rent the house you are going to enjoy your privacy. The plan is to make both rooms available in the future but as of right now only the master bedroom/master bathroom and all the other features of the house are at your disposal.

- "Overall, this was a great property. Neighborhood was nice and felt very safe. Clean and updated property. Kitchen utensils were very limited and some basics were missing (e.g., skillet, can opener). Owner was generally very responsive, but we had some issues gaining entry into the property. One bed was comfortable but very soft, other bed was very uncomfortable. This is a town house and you could hear some noise from upstairs neighbor, but wasn't too bad. For those of you looking to work while you are on vacation, don't worry we got you covered too! We have a workspace area located in our master bedroom. Also, you don't have to worry about using hotspots because this house gets over 200MB of internet download speeds. Perfect for working or gaming!

While this home is equipped to host 8 people, we think the perfect group size is 6. We're happy to host all 8, but keep in mind it will be a little cozier.

For those of you tired of eating out and want to eat a nice home cooked meal, we have all the essential utensils, pots and pans to make what you desire! We also carry enough plates and cups for all guests.

In the backyard we have a gas and charcoal BBQ grill but guests do need to provide their own propane tank. We also have basketball court with a basketball and football located in the outdoor bench for those looking to break a sweat.

HOUSEKEEPING
There is no daily housekeeping service provided in the rental rate. Before check-in, the home will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by a professional cleaning company. Clean sheets and towels will be available in the home. Mid-stay cleaning services during your stay can be requested for an additional fee.

Our Alphatec Office is located adjacent to the house with entrance in the backyard, and while it is a separate private area from the rest of the main home, it is accessed via the side gate in the backyard. If guests are in the backyard during Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM, Guests may encounter our two Alphatec staff members briefly, when they enter or exit the office. Please let me know beforehand if this will be an issue so I can better accommodate.

Off-limit areas include the section of the backyard beyond the small white gate which leads to the shed. Also, garage is inaccessible for guests but you are free to park in front of it.
