Working with Austin, our concierge, made it all so effortless. He was fantastic and full of information; he booked our lift tickets and a snowmobiling excursion with Back Country. The hotel is also a short drive into downtown Jackson where we spent our evenings dining and shopping at the local boutiques. We had our 7 yr. old granddaughter in tow so we also incorporated a horse drawn wagon tour of the Elk Refuge and a day at Snow King, riding the Cowboy Coaster, tubing and skiing...the Elk Refuge and Snow King were also a very short drive from the hotel. Also, dining/drinks in the bar at Spur, located on the ground floor of the hotel, was very casual, cozy and convenient. Don’t forget swimsuits for the pool/hot tub! "

Made it somewhat difficult to enjoy the meal while sweating. Another is, we were not informed at check in or before that the gondola and tram were closed for private events on Fridays and Saturdays. Our anniversary was on Saturday and we were wanting to schedule a romantic dinner atop the mountains, however did not go to schedule til Thursday and they were sold out for the day and unable to accommodate, book ahead of time-lesson learned. The Chill Spa couples massage was amazing. Spa facilities were pleasurable and staff accommodating to our specific needs. All in all a fantastic 5 day vacay! "

- Our penthouse home, renovated in 6/2010, is professionally decorated in western decor for 'your enjoyment. Hardwood and slate flooring, granite countertops, Thermadore, and Sub Zero appliances. There are two floor to ceiling gas stone fireplaces.
- The master bedroom offers a king size bed, fireplace, large tile bath with jetted tub, and glass enclosed stall shower.

The decor is very stylish and reflects the western/mountain vibe which I just love. Everything was well stocked, including spices for cooking and even coffee. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa pullout. We knew ahead of time there was no A/C. The bedroom ceiling fans and open windows made sleeping comfortable. My only suggestion is to have a ceiling or window fan installed in the living room to help with air flow. (Also of note for guests- there are two flights of stairs to haul luggage.) Lastly, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Gondola just a couple minutes away was absolutely spectacular! We went in the evening for $25 for the whole family."

There was no AC (which I was not aware of when booking) which probably isnt normally an issue for most people, but we came at the height of a 90+ degrees heat wave and the lack of AC was unfortunate. There were fans supplied in the condo but it wasnt enough. However, we liked the location and the unit had everything we needed. We will probably return in the future!"
