The deck has a gas barbecue and a fire pit with incredible views of the mountains during the day and the brilliant stars at night. Deer can be seen roaming through the yard in the early morning or late afternoon. Within a short walking distance is Boulder Lake Lodge. The lodge provides meals and horseback rides. You can also take in a friendly game of horse shoes. The property has a beautiful pond which occasionally attracts water fowl. Best of all, this is a great place to just relax and take in its incredible surrounding beauty.

The appliances were all modern and up to date. The neighborhood was mostly quiet. The only negative was that there was no air conditioning which we did not know up front. If I missed it in the listing that’s on me. The house got very hot during the day and took a while to cool off in the evening. The nights were cool enough to make it tolerable. But some of the windows couldn’t be left open due to no screens. My boys and I had to be in the house all day one day while my husband went to work and it was very warm. But we survived! There IS heat, so if you’re staying during colder months, that’s not going to be an issue. The host was amazing, and was very easy to get in touch with. We would love to stay here again."

Both beds have gel filled memory hypoallergenic mattresses. Comes complete with all bedding, blankets, towels, coffee maker, mini refrigerator, and microwave. This cabin is a duplex style home with one shared wall. You are only reserving one side of the duplex. Ask about reserving the other side as well for more room or friends and family.

- "It was a wonderful place to stay, quiet and secluded neighborhood. Wonderful panoramic views of the mountains from all the windows. Fun to see lots of antelope crossing the property. Owner was great respected our privacy and was very helpful during our stay."
