Located in Glastonbury, approximately 20 minutes from Gympie is this secluded and peaceful property on 40 acres. The house sits elevated on a hilltop capturing breezes and offering spectacular views. The house is large and has three bedrooms including 2 queen size beds, and a double and a single bed.

The sunken bathroom overlooks the garden and bush surroundings.
Wildlife is in abundance, especially wallabies and kangaroos and there are even resident guinea fowl which call this house their home.

There have a also recently, been deer spotted down at the dam.

To add to the ambience and for warmth in chilly winter nights, there is a pot belly stove and a good supply of firewood.

Guests can also walk or drive (if you have a four wheel drive) to the creek which adjoins the property behind the dam. There you will find swimming holes and maybe in some spots, some fish.
For the adrenaline junkies this house is a short drive away from Point Pure which has permanent hooks installed for rock climbing and abseiling.

The property is at the end of a section of unsealed road but is accessible by all vehicles. It is also locatable by GPS.

- "What a wonderful property. We spent 5 nights at this gorgeous home, and it immediately became our family's new favourite place to get away. The house itself is charming, decorated beautifully, and contains everything you could need. While this could be my dream home, the surrounds were exquisite, my husband was in heaven. Wallabies, kookaburras that ate out of my hand, green as far as the eye can see. Great spot for hiking or abseiling. Close enough to Gympie for anything you need, but you wouldn't think it, just the sounds of the Australian countryside. Cows, magpies, whip birds, kookaburras... Rachel communicated perfectly, and made our stay easy. And, for convenience sake, we were able to get both Coles and Woolworths deliveries. There's a coffee machine, too; wish I had known that in advance, didn't have to resort to coffee bags. Might be worth adding that in the description page. Heaps of books and maybe 100 DVDs or more (though some DVDs weren't in their cases, not sure if they're gone, or just put back in wrong cases, but we couldn't find them). We played games (Loved the cards against humanity family edition). No wi-fi, but we were able to hotspot our phones without too much difficulty, which we used mostly for music. We have never wanted to leave a place less than this. I highly recommend it, and we hope to be back at least once a year."
