You can easily cross the border and often you do it twice a day. There are two streets, an upper one that leads to Grimaldi and a lower one that connects the sea that connects Menton and Latte. You absolutely need a vehicle, a motorcycle or a car! An alley leads through the village, it is narrow and sometimes very steep and if you want to drive into our own garage, you should have a really small car and be able to drive courageously. Fiat 500 at Nice Airport from 12 euros per day. Otherwise you just park it in the village and walk 3-6 minutes to the house. The path to paradise is steep, narrow and rocky. It's best to stay there ...

Apreamare is probably the most fashionable boat on the Cote d'Azur. Very comfortable and classy, it is also very fast reaching 30 nots. Explore the French Riviera from Menton to St Tropez.
The boat is moored at the Port Garavan of Menton, the last French town in the border with Italy and just 20 minutes from Monaco.
The nicest places to visit are: Punta Mortola and the Balzi Rossi beach (with a very nice restaurant) on the Italian coast.

You will find Cap Martin, Roquebrune, Monaco, Cap d'Ail (nice restaurant on the beach), Cap Ferrat (Paloma fashionable restaurant), Villfranche and the Bay of the billionaires. Within 1 hour you can reach the wonderful islands of Lerins, just in front of Cannes with a very nice restaurant managed by monks. After that you can reach Cap d'Antibes and St Tropez is around 2 1/2 hours with good sea conditions.

Il venerdì è giorno di mercato: vengono a Ventimiglia molti turisti, in particolare francesi. Non si può posteggiare sul lungomare ed in alcune strade che saranno occupate dalle bancarelle sin dalle ore 6 del mattino: pertanto attenzione a dove si parcheggia. Leggere bene i cartelli. Daremo volentieri suggerimenti.

The apartment has been newly refurbished but much of the furniture remains from its time as a hotel.
