There is 3 bedroom house and a two bedroom guest house on the property. This rental includes both the main house and the guest house that are connected ny an outdoor deck walkway.

For our winter visitors, we stock the house with pinion firewood that burns a beautiful flame and will keep you warm. We set fuzzy blankets out throughout the house for your winter comfort. We have a spare portable heater if you need it. We have had one guest that really liked that. There is a lot of room to stretch out and enjoy the fire and the blankets, and the great view of the canyon greenbelt just outside the windows.

For our summer visitors, this is really a summer paradise. The house features big rooms, lots of space, three large, private decks just installed behind the house facing the expansive greenbelt canyon, a hot tub, beautiful heated pool renovated end of 2018. There are several outdoor tables, chairs, umbrellas and overhead sunscreens. We keep pool toys by the pool and a gizmo to inflate them. There is a BBQ and plants on the deck outdoors. But mostly, there is a lot of room on the deck outside - about 3000 SF of deck to enjoy the outdoors in privacy.

This is a beautiful, completely remodeled home, filled with antiques, artwork and beautiful furniture. The house feature large rooms, several private decks outdoors, a beautiful heated pool and hot tub, and stunning views on the edge of the Barton Creek greenbelt.

Everything you need is here. You just need to bring clothes and food. The property includes a house with three large bedrooms upstairs, a queen size sofa sleeper in the TV/Music room downstairs and two full baths upstairs and on half bath downstairs. The guest house has two large bedrooms and a full bath in between them. There is a full bath on the middle deck.

The property is decorated with antique French and American furniture and antique glass collections. Beautiful designer tile and wood flooring, granite counter tops throughout, ceiling fans throughout, and board and electronic games. We have lots and lots of electronic and board and card games. You will love spending time enjoying the views from the private decks- a little slice of heaven.

The living area in the main house is centered around the large wood burning fireplace guaranteed to make your stay a pleasant one. The walls surrounding the floor to ceiling fireplace are covered in book shelves that display hundreds of antique glassware pieces. The oversize couches and chairs will keep you comfortable. The large TV/Music room features Wii games, two electric guitars & amplifiers, two drums, and a keyboard, a gym mat for stretching, a canvas TP for the kids, a box of videos and some interesting books.

The views from the bedrooms, the decks, pool, and hot tub facing the back of the property are beautiful.

The home is located in Westlake Hills right on the Barton Creek greenbelt and is 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes to Zilker park, 30 minutes to Lake Travis, and close to numerous restaurants and nightlife. Lake Travis is only 30 minutes away. This is a one of a kind vacation home. It is large and comfortable with lots of space to move around in. The decks to see the view from are as large as the house itself. One group who stayed said "This house just goes on forever. There is so much space here."

Built in 1924, this Craftsman style home is located on an architecturally significant street, has tons of character and truly portrays the eclectic and unique character of Austin. Newly remodeled and ideally located - 1 block to Ladybird Lake’s hike and bike trails, a short walk to Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, as well as local favorites Maudies Tex-Mex, Juiceland and Deep Eddy Cabaret. The kitchen has new floors, cabinets and countertops, and the entire house has been repainted and remodeled. Our home has been converted to a full-time short term rental property so no need to worry about the owner's personal belongings. There are 5 bedrooms including 3 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a low ceiling loft with twin beds. The loft is located directly off of the upstairs master. The upstairs bathroom features a remodeled shower and 2 private and separate water closets. The dining room showcases a custom 10 ft. dining table perfect for entertaining large groups and new large custom french doors lead to an outside deck and seating area and new weber grille.

Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro's website).
We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.

4) Feel free to inquire about bringing your dogs along. We allow a maximum of two small dogs, each weighing 35 lbs or less. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted. There is a one-time pet cleaning fee of $85. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a dog so we can prepare the necessary cleaning supplies to eliminate allergens before the next guest arrives. If we do not receive notice at least 48 hours before your check-in, the fee will be $105. While staying with us, dogs must be crated when left alone, should not climb on furniture, and must not be left outside unattended. Owners are responsible for any damages caused.
5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it

- "We needed a house for family coming to town for a wedding. The location, house size and layout were exactly what we needed. Everyone had their own space, and the open gathering/dining area was comfortable for everyone. It was near grocery stores, restaurants, MoPac and 360. We had a fun time gathering there!" - "We loved this spacious 5 BR house with the beautiful back deck. We had six adults and the house worked well for us. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We did pay a huge premium due to the eclipse (we were there for a wedding) and the house had maintenance issues which we didn't expect. The house smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Also, a closet door fell out of its track, a hot water faucet wouldn't turn off, then would suddenly turn on, and there were a couple of cockroaches (but it is Texas). We were there two days for a busy family wedding.. I reported the maintenance issues after our stay and the owner/manager said we should have reported everything during our stay. Maybe so, but we were busy and it wasn't that easy. But it's an easy to live in gracious house and we enjoyed ourselves there very much."

Pool is not private. Deck has some loose boards so be careful and the sliding doors were very hard to open/close. Overall, a nice place to stay but need to be prepared and bring bug spray since it’s in the woods."

Come stay at my disco loft walkable to Zilker Park and Barton Springs! This 70s themed space is bright, colorful, & has high ceilings. You can't beat this location for visiting Austin, minutes from downtown. Barton Springs natural pool is practically in the backyard, and who doesn't love a disco theme? Comes with a parking spot, one queen bed, a twin trundle, one queen murphy bed. @that70sscondo on Insta!

Please note it is third floor with no elevator. There is a washer/dryer available to pay to use in the building. The murphy bed is downstairs in the living room, and the main queen and twin/trundle bed are upstairs in the loft.

5 minute walk to Barton Springs, 8 minute walk to Zilker Park, so close to many fabulous restaurants and activities!

- "Overall, the property was nice. It needs a few improvements though. The oven doesn't work correctly. The owner said that it can be tricky (it's an older oven), but if that's so, then there should be directions. I was told the day of check-in that the hot water heater was old so we shouldn't take our showers all at the same time. But there wasn't even enough hot water for me when I was the first one to take a 10 minute shower every day. Upstairs, an outlet was hanging out of the wall and sparked if the cord that was plugged into it moved. In the welcome book in the loft, it says that we are able to use the tennis courts that we can see from the balcony. However, the tennis courts were locked and when we went to the office of that apartment complex, they were very rude and told us that we were not allowed to use them."

- "The house was very clean and ready upon our arrival. We had a group of 6 and it was very comfortable for all 6 of us. The backyard has a very nice sitting area that accompanied the awesome whether we had all weekend very nicely. Check and and Checkout was seamless and parking was easy. It was a little far for a walk to ACL for some in my group being how many hills there are in the area but we knew that going in and were able to easily uber for cheap to a spot very near the ACL entrance. Grabbing an uber at night was a breeze too as there weren't very many people looking for one in that area where we picked up. Owners checked in with us (through VRBO) during the trip to make sure we were doing good and had everything we needed. Would 100% Recommend in the future for an ACL stay or if you are just looking for something near downtown."

We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.
