Bure Cottage is located in the exclusive Peninsular Marina by the banks of the River Bure at Wroxham, known as the gateway to the Broads. The cosy and comfortable self-catering cottage is south facing with views from the lounge onto the Marina, River Bure and beyond.

The double glazed cottage is suitable for breaks at all times of the year. It sleeps four with beds made up on the morning of arrival. The price includes electricity, heating, hot water, wi-fi and bed linen, towels and everything you would expect from a well-established self-catering cottage.

Weekly rental is Saturday-to-Saturday. Off-season short breaks of three nights or more are also available.

Within the exclusive Peninsula Cottage Estate with a view to the iconic Wroxham Bridge (the subject of many postcards) you have only a 5 to 10 minute walk into the centre of Wroxham with an abundance of shops, riverside restaurants and pubs, and a wide variety of take-aways including McDonalds.

Wake up to the gentle sound of the river wildlife and enjoy breakfast sitting on your private raised, covered South-East facing private terrace overlooking the river. A sun-trap in the morning and offering shade in the evening. We have just installed (for 2020) a 3m x 2.5m wind out awning to protect you from the rain or Sun while you enjoy a bar-b-q at your own private picnic table, or your bistro table for 2. The only problem we found were that the mattresses on the king size beds were not very comfortable, and could do with replacing. The 'Wherry' was 'home from home' & Wendy had supplied all the basics (which was excellent as we forgot to pick up a pint of milk en route) plus a lot more in the way of books & games if you are stuck in for the day. The fish were not so obliging but that was due to the weather. If there has been a prolonged spell of rain the road to the chalet gets flooded so wellingtons are a necessity if you want to walk anywhere. We have booked to return in November 2020 for another wk-end."

- "Can't fault anything except lack of working vacuum cleaner and no mop. Fab location. Had all the cooking equipment to make Christmas dinner for 5. Very well stocked with glasses,crockery and cutlery plus pots and pans. Lovely place" - "A spacious property in a good position for the Broads and Wroxham shops etc. The garden suffers from geese and is contaminated with their droppings so is not very user friendly." - "Nice surroundings however property requires some works. Bure Cottage is set in the exclusive Peninsular Marina by the banks of the River Bure at Wroxham, Capital of the Broads. The romantic self-catering cottage faces the setting sun, a dinghy's distance from a private dyke with stunning bedroom views of the river.

Redecorated & new carpets fitted in 2021, along with new sofas & fridge. Double glazing, lounge heater & new Dreamer mattresses installed year before. Sleeps four with all comforts. Beds are made on arrival morning - and prices include electricity and everything, except towels & toiletries.
