- "The apartment is beautiful, very new and very well furnished. The building is also very nice, with beautiful wood and stone finishes. Everything is there to create a cosy and exclusive atmosphere. Contacts with the agency were very pleasant throughout the process. We will definitely be back. The use of the jacuzzi was not always straightforward. Needed to buy a lot of wood and attend the fire many times during the day to get it to the right temperature in the evening. Water was not clean at first and we needed to wait a few days for a technician to come. He filled up the jacuzzi with fresh water but left it at 7 degrees. Took two days to get it back to an acceptable temperature"

One of the oldest buildings in Zinal, Les Violettes is a authentic two-bedroom chalet built in 1803. Completely renovated in 2017, the interior was modernized and equipped with the latest technology while the essence of the 1803 chalet remains intact. The chalet offers majestic views of the mountains and benefits from its unique location in the center of the village steps away from the cable car, grocery stores, restaurants serving local specialties, and a pool and spa.

The living room is spacious and furnished with a classically Swiss touch. The original walls have been preserved and the room features the stone stove that heated the chalet in the 1800s. Today, under floor heating provides a comfortable and consistent temperature. A modern sofa mixes with furniture and souvenirs from earlier times. Two sunny balconies are accessible from the living room and provide views of the mountain summits.

The kitchen has everything you need to make your stay tasty. It is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and toaster. Owners gave very clear instructions about everything beforehand and in their manual and had all the right supplies for cooking, cleaning etc. Free passes for cable car and other transportation are in the folder. Great washer and dryer. Music speaker system with app to phone. Very spacious chalet, bigger and better than the pictures. Two balconies. Great wooden picnic table out back with yard. Wonderful wood floors and furnishings throughout. Kitchen is also great with 4 seat dining table and two seat tall chair bar to serve guests if you have friends over for dinner (which we did). I can’t thank them enough for the attention to detail and beautifully refurbished Chalet. Parking and location so convenient as well. This stay has been the highlight of our trip so far and we feel so lucky to have found this place. Wow, what a great find! Richard, Miguelina and Marielle."
