More expensive that in previous years (2018 and 2019), but it's all very comfortable, nearly everything we needed was provided, and communication with the hosts was excellent. The only disappointment was that Valtournenche's two liveliest restaurants, the pizzerias Big Ben and Biblos, were both closed this year! Fingers crossed at least one of them will reopen in 2024, as the town is otherwise a very quiet place after 9pm!"

Tori has been incredibly patient with our various reschedulings over the last year, due to the pandemic, and very helpful with tips and suggestions for places to eat out, ski hire etc. We were a group of 14 and there was plenty of space for everyone to feel very comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all finished to a high specification and accommodated us all easily. We relaxed in the evenings by the central log fire, playing cards and board games after a long day on the slopes - just perfect! It has been a really wonderful week and we would highly recommend this beautifully-appointed, cosy chalet for a large group. We were all very sad to leave and would absolutely love to return there one day!"

Chalet d’Alpage is a magical haven surrounded by the atmosphere of times gone by and unspoiled nature, perfect for those who want taste a very Alpine mountain escape. During the winter you can reach it walking along a path surranding by snow for about 150mt and it is recommended to use snow tyres and chains on board as the road leading to the house is not always clear of snow and ice, it is suggested to be “ready” to drive on the snow because all roads are not always clean of snow and ice;.

The property has been recently restored with rustic furnishings embellished with the finest finishing touches, fabrics with traditional mountain style.
