This beautiful Carmen, located in the upper part of the Albaycín and with very good access by car, has a main house of 450m2 for 8 people, a guest house of 80m2 for 4 people, and a leafy private garden of 1070m2 with pool of 12 x 7 m, and garage.

On the ground floor, the main house has a huge living room with fireplace and dining area with table for 10 people, a charming kitchen and a toilet, as well as a large hall. On the first floor is the master bedroom, with beautiful views, living area with fireplace, 55 ”television, and a large bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub and shower; a double bedroom with full bathroom, which is also accessed from the hallway; and another double bedroom. The second floor is formed by a tower with spectacular views of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. Here is a conservatory with two single beds and a large roof terrace.

The guest house has a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, and a lounge on the first floor. Here is also the sauna, for 2 people.

In the garden there are all kinds of furniture to relax, as well as a table where 10 people or more can eat.

- "This is truly a wonderful property. The house itself is extraordinary. The history of the place is amazing and the multitude of pictures and artifacts bear witness to that. The garden and pool are a wonderful discovery within the city. The pool saved us, as we were there during an especially hot spell. Ignacio was an especially helpful host; communication with him both before and during our visit was excellent. The following few comments are not meant to detract from the overall superior nature of the property, but rather to let prospective renters know a few things which may or may not matter to them, but that did matter to us. First of all, only bedrooms are air conditioned, and even the existing air conditioners cannot all be used at one time due to legal restrictions regarding kilowatt hours. During our stay daytime temperatures averaged 102, so this was important to us. Secondly, there was a misunderstanding about bed size. The initial description does not specify bed size, but later in the listing there is mention of a king bed and two queens. This is not accurate. The master suite does not have a king size bed, but rather a queen. And the other two bedrooms in the main house do not have queen beds, but regular doubles. Again, this may not matter to many guests, but for some of us it did. Given these few caveats, I would definitely recommend this property to groups who want a peaceful vacation home still within the city."
