From the villa you have direct access to a beautifully decorated garden and a terrace with a big barbecue, where you can enjoy your freshly made dishes. - "It is hard to write a review to express how wonderful the Villa Arya is! It really is as gorgeous as the pictures suggest but what they don't capture is the wonderful atmosphere. It is such a special place! The first thing to say is that it is absolutely spotless and has everything you could possibly need, especially if you are a keen cook. We were a party of 10 - 4 adults and 6 teenagers (aged 15 to 19) and we all loved it. It worked very well for two families as there are two apartments. We took an apartment per family but all cooked together in the downstairs apartment as it is better equipped and has access to the outside table and BBQ. I found the hosts charming and extremely helpful. Every request was answered within minutes. On arrival, we were delighted to find the most amazing selection of bread, cheese and charcuterie and drinks in the fridge. Ljubo took the time to take us around the villa to show us all the amenities, of which there are many. Everything was just perfect! A highlight for the teenagers was the gym, sauna and pool. I loved the shaded outdoor sofa area which was perfect for reading and chilling. We all loved the rooftop sofas, sunbeds and hot tub. Podstrana has a range of restaurants and bars and we walked down to the beach most days for a coffee, drink or meal. Split was easily accessible by bus which cost a couple of Euro. Thank you! - "The property is very spacious and clean. It is well thought out and attention to detail is noticeable. Kitchen is well fitted out with everything needed. Bedrooms all spacious with their own bathrooms, beds good size with nice linen. All bathrooms generous sizes also two more separate toilets. The pool area is great and the pool is a nice size. The balcony at the front is great to sit on in the evening and watch the sun go down over split. The general area unfortunately let it down for us as it is quite run down and the restaurants on the beach are quite sparse unless you want to get an Uber or walk for about 25 mins. Amigos on the beach is highly recommend we ate there twice. We also tried Mario’s which is close by on the beach which was fine. The beach is very pebbly but also beautiful. The church across from the house has bell ringing on the hour and half hour. At six in the morning it rings for 2 mins which we were quite shocked at. However as the week went on we did get used to it and managed to get back to sleep. Tanja the owner is fab. We had a storm one morning which cut out our electric upstairs. I got in contact with her and it was fixed the same day. She is very helpful and friendly."

- "We spent several nights at this property and believe that it is worthy of a five star rating overall. The highlight of this property is the beautiful and private swimming pool, which our family really enjoyed. The owner (and his parents) are super nice and live in an adjacent apartment or condo (the other half of the building), which is nice in case something should arise while you are staying there. The only slight downside to this property is that it is somewhat 'remote,' in a sense, in that it is about a 15 minute Uber ride from the touristy part of downtown to the home (about $20 USD). There is a market within walking distance for groceries and so forth, and if you wanted to walk to the beach, that was only a 5-7 minute long trip. (Because the pool was so nice, we opted to stay there if we were not doing some type of excursion). In the spirit of transparency, the property is located adjacent to a church that chooses to ring the steeple bell on a regular basis, so if you are a super light sleeper, you may want to bring some ear plugs (I don't think they ring it at night --- only in the morning and throughout the afternoon). It did not bother anyone in our family, and I even joked about it with the property owner, but I would be remiss if I failed to mention it. With that said, this property still receives a 5 star rating from us, particularly given the friendly, easy going nature of the owner, whom we really liked. We would stay here again if and when we return to Split!"

The garden is beautifully and simply decorated and has barbeque. Exit to the terrace is through the living room and dining room. The terrace and balcony have suitable garden furniture that can also be used for dining.
The ground floor is open space, decorated with a large kitchen and living room, between which stretches a dining area. There is also a separate bathroom.
On the first and second floor there are 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms. Two bedrooms have access to large balcony overlooking the sea, two beds and a private bathroom. Other two bedrooms have a double bed and a private bathroom. .
In the basement there is another bedroom with private bathroom and double bed. The room and bathroom have windows to have natural daylight. Each bedroom is air-conditioned

It is a large home (duplex) for four adults to have privacy when needed. It is very clean and there are oudoor sitting areas that were amazing. The rooftop at sunset really impressed us! We visited Sept 20-Oct 3, 2023. The host had some goodies in the kitchen to help get us started. The coffee maker has it'sown filter so no worries about bringing them. FYI, the coffee amker doesn't stay on long so we kept turning on throughout the morning. I figured it was a safety feature after a couple of days. There were some spices in the kitchen which was a nice surprise. Bed linens were very comfortable. If we ever decided to return to Croatia, I would stay here again. I wish the host all the best in the future!"
