- "There is no way to describe this rental and do it any Justice. The photos do not convey the uniqueness of this property. I will detail the house but adding details on reasons you might hesitate to book first (and why you shouldn’t). FIRST the stairs are not a big deal if you are physically fit. I was a little stressed as we traveled w my parents who are in their 70s and our young sons and it was perfectly fine. I expected them to be much more intense based on the reviews. Next UBER was extremely easy and always available. But more importantly there is a bus stop adjacent to the road on the top of the property so pick up was not only easy it was extremely safe (and we had two young boys 5&4 w us so this was such a great surprise). It is very close to Old town (and Ubers were cheap). The house was extremely clean and the layout was great for a family spread over two floors. There are two master suites so no one feel like they don’t get a great experience if you went w two families or two couples. We spent our time either on the porch, by the pool or down on the cove w a private entrance to the water. The swimming was very calm in the sea all but one day and it was still easy to get in and out (even for the kids). Running out of room but the boat/cave tour was awesome (that they arranged for us), and there is an easy way to get to a GREAT beach which has two restaurants without walking on the road at all! Best VRBO of our lives! We’ll be back!"

The immense interior of the house spreads 700 square meters over 3 levels and a smaller structure in the back. The common areas are on the ground floor, two guest rooms on the first and three on the second floor. An elevator in the house is an added convenience for guests with reduced mobility. Two apartments with a kitchenette are in the back, just ideal for groups travelling with staff or family members who need added privacy.
The ground floor is a vast, open-concept area with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the airy space with daylight. The FLOS open bulb chandelier adds a chic tone to the neutral color palette and grey Minotti sofas. To the side of the lounge, find a dining table by the windows and a kitchen in the back, separated by a black marble floor-to-ceiling partition with an integrated fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with Siemens appliances, and features large work surfaces and an additional storage area.
On the opposite side of the lounge, a library area with a bar is an ideal place for quiet conversations, book moments and après-sunset cognacs.
The five hotel-worthy guest rooms are incredibly spacious, with the master room standing out with 70 square meters. Rooms open to balconies or French windows, allowing you to enjoy the views from your oversized bed or window—side chaise. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. All white with Carrara marble floors, walls and countertops, ceiling rain showers and Choppard cosmetics, they are gems in their own right. The master bedroom excels in black marble, with an expansive walk-in shower and a Catalano tub by the window.

- "Staying in this palace of a home was a dream come true - We arrived and were welcomed with open arms by the concierge and cleaning staff. We used all 7 bedrooms in the home for this 40th birthday celebration and it was nice to find a place that could house our friend group. One of the reasons I chose this home in particular, is the proximity to Dubronik, the newness of the home, and it being right on the water. Our group had a blast jumping right in the ocean from our own private water front area, and rinsing off with the warm water hose, then continuing to swim in the infinity pool. For food, I would recommend ordering lots of groceries in advance. Nearby you'll find two restaurants on the beach within a 5 minute walk; we ate at these places multiple times. We also enlisted the help of the concierge recommended chef, and it was one of the BEST meals I've ever had, and only at about 90 euro per person! To get to town, you can simply order an Uber for approx 20 euro - they were accessible and easy. What an experience this was - this palace made for some epic times and memories that will last forever!"

Zaton is situated in a beautiful, natural bay surrounded by hills and only 8 kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik. This place can be reached by car or by boat only. It consists of two smaller villages/bays Veliki and Mali Zaton (Big Zaton and Small Zaton). Rich middle-class families living in Dubrovnik during the Ragusa Republic in the 15th century were already building their holiday or weekend houses in Zaton in the Renaissance style.
In Zaton itself, there are a few small shops, a tourist information center, a couple of excellent seafood restaurants, bars, cafés, bakeries, and a post office. These 2 bays have several small, pebbled beaches. The most popular beach is located at the eastern end of the bay in the village of Stikovica.

We were right on a quiet beach in Zaton and next to multiple restaurants that were open semi late. The pool was amazing to have with such a large group. I wish this host the best however i would like to provide the following constructive criticism for future check ins. There is construction happening around the property and due to this there were consistent sewerage stench coming into the property and the construction noises started at 6am so it definitely disrupts sleep. And i beleive a long term fix needs to done for the internet as it only worked once. Maybe a new modem might be the solution..overall nice place and convenient. Best of Luck"
