- "Quiet and relaxed with breath taking views. The sunset are brilliant!" - "The position of the apartment is perfect, overlooking the port and sea with cliffs and mountains behind, and with a perfect view of the sunset each evening. It takes ten to fifteen minutes to walk down to the port with it's restaurants, beach and fishmonger and perhaps a little longer to reach the centre of Agaete, a lovely, relatively sleepy, Canarian town. Both walks home are quite steep so you do need to be mobile. We needed to talk to Lex, one of the managers a couple of times and found him to be very friendly and efficient. Beware though that our taxi driver couldn't find the address, so the Google maps reference they send you is important (and if you get lost it's just around the corner from the Roca Negra hotel). The only reason this is not 5 stars is that it needs some attention. Windows need to be fixed, a door handle falls off, the wooden fence at the end of the terrace is loose (and it's a big fall the other side - this apartment isn't suitable for small children). With a little love this place could be perfect."

Agaete has an historic centre with beautiful squares in which to take an aperitif, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
