- "We stayed in a one bed apartment with jacuzzi on the balcony. It had all the kitchen appliances you need. The bedroom at the back was comfortable and quiet. The views were excellent. The balcony was large and the automatic sunshades were very good allowing you to choose from full sun or shade. - "Had a great week at this hotel, especially enjoyed the Monkey Beach Club" - "This is an excellent resort, suitable for families as well as groups of friends. We were on a stag do and wanted something a bit more high end than just a place to stay at the end of a night/morning on Veronica's strip and this proved perfect. We had an apartment to stay in on the ground floor just away from the pool and they have a supermarket on site (perfect for topping up the beers) as well as pool tables, air hockey, table tennis and a great pool to keep entertained in the day. We had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was good food, very well presented. All of the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the only tiny, tiny downside was the two of the beds in our room (room for four people) were fold out beds and they weren't too comfortable but the apartment itself was clean, air conditioned and well decorated. Location wise, you're a 5 Euro taxi ride away from the strip or the beach so it's perfect. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for what we wanted and I'd happily go back!"

- "Great place to stay and the pool is heated to" - "I booked a sea view room for my partners birthday. The room/apartment and grounds were beautiful. We regret not having more time just to chill in the hotel. It's a very beautiful setting up in the hills but an easy walk to the beach and restaurants- no noise pollution here. The staff are great and really helpful to get you taxis and the facilities are well thought through- there is a post box, extra showers by the pool and hair dryers and lots of outdoor games. The only things I would recommend is a mattered topper as we had two single beds in our room pushed together and that would have made them more comfortable. The restaurant was running when we were there but there is a supermarket a few doors down and the room is fully kitted- you could make a full Christmas dinner with that kitchen! The pool bar plays nice music and very good value drinks- nice to sit in the jacuzzi and look out to the sea with a cocktail. You could easily stay and not leave the hotel. - "Excellent as always " - "I booked a one bedroom plus, but was delighted upon arrival to be given a 2 bedroom bungalow as the property was overbooked. Lovely bungalow with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and garden, with direct access to the pool. Hard to get a spot at main pool as people are ready at 10am reserving never to be seen again. The other pool has more space but ruined slightly by the Iberostar hotel next door and it’s super loud talking on the microphone and music. Have stayed at Garden city 4 times now and am back next April- in the lovely bungalow I just stayed in! "

- "Arrived 1:30pm. Checked in and luggage stored. Room not available until 4pm. Requested a seaview when booking in March. None available. Was offered to upgrade to the Penthouse with all round views, hot tub and bed & breakfast for £300 extra for 3 of us - so why not. Been several times so knew what was on offer. No hot water for showers until part way into 2nd day. Room wasn't cleaned for check in time 4pm. Hot tub was cleaned either until day 3 - certainly not what was expected for upgrade fee. All sorted in the end and got offered free BBQ tickets, not that we would go anyway. Pool was nice and clean and plenty of loungers. Victor the lifeguard remembered us from previous stays which is always nice. He is one hell of an artist too.... Breakfast is in the sister hotel Mirage. Same as last year. Some days better than others, lots of choices, something for everyone. Only criticism is hot selection could do with being warmer as it was always luke warm. Beds comfy but firm. One single long firm pillow each which took some getting used to. The hotel looks lovely from the outside, especially lit up at night, but it is a bit dated and seriously needs to invest in some lifts as its all stairs which is a nightmare carrying the luggage up & down. Im not going to moan as love Los Cristianos. It always feels and looks clean and looked after. The upside being at the top of LC is you get great view's if you're sea facing. The downside is the oncoming heart attack walking up the hill!"

Restaurant. 10 minutes walk to the beach." - "Convenient location for shops, bars, restaurants etc. The apartments are spread over a large area and if you are staying in one of the higher number apartments there is a long trek to the entrance/exit as this is the only way in or out of the complex, there is another gate at the far end near to the higher number apartments but this is always locked. If you have difficulty, definitely ask for a lower number apartment at the point of booking, we asked when checking in but was told they were fully booked. We stayed half board, the food was ok, evening meal was better than breakfast. If visiting again I would probably opt for room only as eating out in Los Critianos is very reasonably priced."
