In my view the apartment is ideally suited for couples and not children as it is in a quieter area out of the center of the town and there is no private or communal pool. Please also note that we do not do rentals for longer than 2 weeks.

It s on the edge of the resort so we hired a car to get around although we have also stayed without and managed quite easily with taxis which are plentiful and reasonably priced . The trendy Marina with its choice of bars and restaurants is a very lively area where you can sip a cocktail in the beautiful elevated Marina bar 'El Faro' with a 180 degree view over the sea or visit the harbour where the kids can feed the fish or swim with a seal and many other attractions including jet skis, pedalos and the newest sport of flyboarding, Why not treat the kids and book a trip on the Obycat to go view the abundance of sealife in these waters or book a trip to go deep sea fishing for that 'big' one, or try out scuba diving or wind surfing. Caleta de Fuste harbour and marina is a haven for many activities and provides holiday makers with a wide choice of experiences.

There are two excellent 18 hole golf courses both offering driving ranges, putting greens, pro shops and of course a 19th hole. One being Fuerteventura Golf and the other being Salinas Golf.

Take a steady stroll along the promenade passing through the marina and harbour to the Atlantico centre which houses a cinema, bowling alley, shops, restaurants and a large Euro Spar supermarket, why not stop off along the way at the bar in the sea for a nice chilled beer. The casino in Caleta de Fuste can be found in the Elba Carlota hotel.

There are two local supermarkets close by in the town and a further two larger supermarkets a little further away. All this just 10 minutes and 15€ taxi ride from the airport. There is an excellent bus service from just outside the arrivals terminal at the airport to the brand new bus station in the resort and is only two minutes walk from the 'Gaudia' complex and costs 1€ 45c.

Just had a great 8 day stay at Casa Mimosa.
We had high expectations from the photographs and they didn’t disappoint.
The apartment was very spacious, clean and well laid out.
Had everything you would need for a holiday which include fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, iron and board, hairdrier and even straighteners. Beds were all also really comfortable.
The highlight is the roof terrace. It has a seating area and also sunbeds. There is also a table, chairs and sunbeds on the ground level.
The outside fairy lights were a lovely touch.
Great location with all amenities in easy reach.
Can’t wait to book again.

Well all I can say is this apartment with is glorious roof terrace did not disappoint. Beautifully maintained to a high standard with a fab new walk in shower and a bathroom with a window is always a bonus (many don’t have and is unbearable in the heat). We have already booked again for next year! It is ideally located for everything, shops, bars, beach, taxis and bus station all just 5-10 mins walk away. It was a pleasure to stay, nothing is too much trouble for the owners and management team. We thank you x

The balcony leading off the living room gets the sun from morning until it sets behind the mountains in the evening. Shade is provided through umbrellas and canopies, as I'm sure would be required in the Summer. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes. This same walk takes you through the Atlantico Shopping Centre where there is a huge Spar supermarket to get all your self catering produce. I've never seen so a huge choice of fresh meat, fish & vegetables, I could go on. The WIFI is included and very strong. Beach Towels come with the property and a washing machine to freshen all of your clothes and towels or bed linen. The 2nd bedroom was a lovely addition for our teenage son. The whole apartment would take a large family easily with 2 bathrooms, plenty of seating and spaces to not be on top of each other. Our teenager loved the size of the TV too. Apparently the property owners would be looking to add IPTV but you could bring your own and stream your own TV in your home language. The pool on site isn't heated but that's standard in most places. It was large and well maintained. The walk into Caleta Castillo Centre is about 20 minutes at a fast pace. Its flat but no dropped curbs if you were on a mobility scooter, so you would have to use the road I think. The complex is quiet and residential it seems for lots of residents. It is spotless and feels safe and cared for. I was in two minds to write such a glowing review because I don't want it getting booked up for our next visit ha ha... The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable, very modern and well-decorated, the kitchen had all the appliances we needed and everything looked brand new, it is within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants, the pool was very nice and was cleaned regularly.
