Up 3 flights but no problem. Arranged secure parking in courtyard for low cost. Very handy for driving to wineries in surrounding area. Recommend village of Barola. Several restaurants and winery stores, great views, little traffic. Back in Alba, Historic area 50 steps from front door. Historic center has Main Street with somewhat modern stores as well as side streets with a bit more local feel. Huge outdoor market for clothing etc as well as farmers market on Saturday and maybe one or two other days. Very pedestrian friendly."
