Just a few minutes walk takes you to the gondola for a quick ride up the hill, where walking teails let us explore with a view of the dolomites. And the hotel includes the Bolzano Card, which covers the admission fee for the museum and the gondola, and several other places we visited."

The property has a garage to park your car, although there is bus stop near buy. Road to the property is steep and windy, but when no snow is on the road it is easily navigated. Just sitting in the lovely garden area can be the highlight of an afternoon if you are ready for a quiet retreat. This was our 2nd week long visit to Ortisei which we used as a gathering point for visiting with family living in Italy. Our family ranged in age from 2 to 70 and the town and its environs provide wonderful recreation and opportunities for all! Our only regret was that we did not get a chance to visit Leonardo's studio - he is a very accomplished, well regarded wood carver and we did not realize that until late in our stay - next time!!!"

Other things to note
The "Piazza Fié di Sopra" is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Fié (Völs am Schlern). Until the 20th century it used to be a small village with a blacksmith, a wheels maker, a farm and an old tavern by the name of "Löwenwirt" (Lions' Inn). Its centre was formed by a small chapel with an ample garden.
If you like panoramic views, the frontside of the chapel will be the place for you!
Winter:
South Tyrol is a skier's paradise! The Alpe di Siusi can be reached in 10 minutes by car or public transport, other nearby spots are Val Gardena and the Sella Mountains.
Skating and sledging can be enjoyed at the idyllic Völser Weiher.
Spring Summer:
Do not miss the nearby Völser Weiher (bathing lake) and the castle Prösels.
Völs is a wonderful area for hiking and mountain biking (Dolomites), for day trips the alpe di Siusi is perfect. According to "Magazin der Süddeutschen Zeitung", one eats particularly well on the Tschafonhütte and the Gostner Schwaige. We can confirm that from experience :-)
Autumn:
Autumn is the time of harvest and vintage. Völs has some very good "Buschenschänke" and "Völser Kuchenkastl" (Traditional Harvest Specialties) to offer.
Hiking and mountain biking in September and October are possible depending on the weather!

My place is close to beautiful panoramic views, ski lifts, and magnificent nature walks You'll love it because it's the intimacy, the location, the views. Discreet and stylish. My place is good for couples and/or solo adventurers, families up to 4 Max, and even for those who own small pets, we accept their presence .
the snowshoeing trails and the winter bottom are a short walk from the house, the use of the car is not necessary

The space
The accommodation is new, very quiet in the context of nature, you can admire a spectacular view and easy to reach. Near the house there is the bike path that connects Val di fiemme and Fassa, and also many mountain trails start right from the area where the house is located

the space for guests entirely at their disposal, the accommodation is a studio apartment of about 40 meters independent.

More than an apartment, for our guests we have a private multifunctional storage situated at the base floor of the flat, really useful for storing bikes, skis, or strollers
