The two rooms of the apartment (connecting door) are very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Live history! Enjoy nature! Our historic schoolhouse was built in 1912 and served as elementary school until 1961. After a changeful history as military hospital and barracks, church, sports club home and vacantness, we now restore it as vacation accomodations with special charm. Some elements remind of the building's past as schoolhouse, the decoration honors the "Reformarchitektur" (German version arts and crafts style) around 1900. The principal's rooms have been entirely renovated in 2019.

In the former principal's room which maintains the original hardwood parquet floor, you will find a big double bed (180cmx200cm) and a pullout daybed for a snuggy siesta in the afternoon or to sleep two more guests.
A desk with a vista over the wide landscape can be used for work or recording your vacation memories.
An enourmous oak wardrobe, originally from a castle en Luxembourg, offers ample space for baggage and clothes.

- Bedroom 2:
The second bedroom with original timber flooring has two single beds (90 cm x 200 m), a desk and an ample wardorbe.

The bathroom has been completely remodeled with a shower (90 x 90), vanity and mirror, hairdryer and power outlets.

A special highlight is the open concept living and room and kitchen area. Cook together and review the day over a glass of wine. Just relax reading a book on the sofa, update Instagram with travel impressions or watch a movie on the 55'' 4K smart TV. Everything can be done togehter. Nobody has to "disappear" in the kitchen to cook dinner. You can eat together directly on the XL-kitchen island in the center of the room.

The space
In this almost 120 square meter apartment you will find three bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a spacious living room with play area for children and a spacious, partly covered terrace.

The master bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds and the third has a single bed with a pull-out guest bed. Thus, the apartment can accommodate up to 5 adults. Children are very welcome!

Upon arrival, you will find the appropriate number of beds already occupied. On the beds then a towel package.

The bathroom is equipped with toiletries, a step for children, a toilet seat for the little ones, a straightening iron and a hairdryer.

In the kitchen you will find everything you need for
cooking. In addition, a coffee maker for filter coffee and a Dolce Gusto. As a welcome, we offer our guests a small selection of hot drinks for the Dolce Gusto as well as ground coffee.

In the dining room, in addition to the 6 seats at the dining table, there is also a high chair for the little ones.

The spacious living room with the comfortable couch has a smart TV and a play and painting corner for the children. Pens, coloring books, games and toys are available and some books for the bookworms. From the living room, you can reach the partly covered terrace. A charcoal grill is also available there.

Since our house is located in a pure residential street (dead end), there is unfortunately no parking right by the house. Parking is possible in the immediate vicinity (about 100 m away) on the turning area (above the house) or on the street (Nansenstraße, below the house). For loading and unloading, you can of course drive up to the house.
