The apartment is very spacious (140 m2), newly refurbished and very well equipped. It has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, a very spacious interior dining and living room and a lovely terrace with two different areas: dining area with views to the sea and Cala Figuera's lighthouse and vigilance tower; and outer living area with outdoor sofas ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach or walking around.

The apartment is ideal for couples or families. Children are very welcome and for sure will enjoy the spacious living room (we also provide some toys for them to make the most of their holidays).

The apartment is situated in Cala Figuera, a charming historical fishermens port on the south coast of Majorca at 5km from Santanyí, 54km from Palma de Mallorca and 44km from the airport. Nearest beaches are Cala Santanyí at 3km and the wonderful beaches of the Mondragó National park at 4km. You can reach Cala Figuera by bus from Palma de Mallorca but is very advisable to rent a car (you can hire it at the airport) in order to move around freely. The village provides guests with all the essentials they may need during their stay; shops, supermarkets, stores, pharmacies etc… as well as numerous bars and restaurants of high quality and with prices to suit every pocket.

You will be at only 5km from Santanyí, famous for its twice weekly food and artisans market that takes place in the centre every Wednesday and Saturday.

The landscape of the surroundings are both rural and coastal. It has two natural parks (Mondragó and Cabrera) and excellent beaches with in 10 or 15 minutes drive.

In addition we found a small French restaurant – La Petite Inglesia – which was just round the corner from the apartment and was a small friendly restaurant with extremely good food. All the restaurants are within walking distance but it is a steep climb back up the hill to the apartment. The nearby beaches at Cala Santanyi, S’amarador and Cala Llombards were easy to reach by car and parking was easily available. If you are looking for a totally relaxing break, then this is the place! - "Great base for exploring the southern parts of the island. Maria, the host, was excellent. We had everything we needed." - "The property was cute and the manager was very nice and easy to work with. However we had plans for another couple to join us for a week and there was no room for them to stay. The 2nd bathroom was unusable due to the smell of mold and the bathroom we could use had a shower that was about 5’ sq ft with a broken shower head holder. It was very difficult to shower and the shower curtain was pretty aggravating wrapped up around you. Swamping the floor. Also there was a separate charge for use of the ac/heater, we had to add 1euro coin for 3hours of service. We were there a month so the added charge was about an extra 90 euros. This was not reflected in the transaction contract. It is a loud neighborhood with little parking and you will lose your parking spot if you move the car. The location is great and we found some lovely beaches and Mallorca is so beautiful and fun to explore. We had a great time and really other than our friends not being able to join us due to limited space, we had a good vacation."

- "Fantastic place to spend long holidays" - "Schöne Wohnung in schöner Lage mit prima Aussicht über den Hafen von Cala Figuera. Bett mit guter Matrazen, auch für Leute mit Rückenproblemen. Besonders nett: gut ausgestattete Küche für alle, die gern selber kochen. Etwas ungünstig, besonders im Dunkeln der teils steile & holperige Weg ins Dorf. Nicht geeignet für Leute die damit Probleme haben. Es gibt jedoch einen Umweg über eine teils sehr steile Treppe. Wir waren (Paar) schon zum 2ten Mal da, jetzt erstmals im März. Im Wohnzimmer wäre ein Couchtisch, ein Sessel und ein Teppich (Tip: Flickenteppich, kann man gut waschen) nett. Die Fernbedienung der Stereoanlage muss gewartet werden (reinigen, neue Batterien). Wasser wurde im ersten Badezimmer nur lauwarm, im 2ten Badezimmer dagegen schön warm. Mein Tip als Hausbesitzer: das System ändern, damit nicht so viel Wasser verschwendet wird. Für den Sommer wäre es nett, die gemauerten Außenbeete zu reinigen/ streichen verbessert den Eindruck enorm."
