The bathroom is small but nicely decorated, and you will enjoy the spa-style shower. The porch is as delightful as everyone says it is. Also, it's really large - about ten feet wide and maybe 25 feet long. We ate every meal on the porch, and never once sat on the sofa in the living room. Truly a splendid porch. No pictures accurately depict the view from the porch. What you see is your own little tropical garden. The garden is full of adorable little lizards, about four inches long, that will skitter across the path as you walk from your car to your door. This is a three-unit building and each unit has a porch. Each porch is set up for maximum privacy. Several folks have mentioned proximity to grocery stores and the French Bakery. The apartment is also less than two blocks from a lovely deli and there's a chocolate factory across the road from the French bakery. The biggest surprise about the location of this property is its overall privacy. Despite proximity to the aforementioned conveniences. the building is tucked away on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood. A splendid property. We were delighted."

2. Unless authorized in advance, check-in is anytime after 5 pm, and check-out is 10 am. If you'd like an early check-in at 3:00 pm and/or late check-out at noon, please let us know 24hrs in advance and send us $35 via the platform so that we can authorize this for you.
3. The apartment complex may run maintenance or clean pools, gym and other shared amenities as they see fit. Please be aware.
4. No shoes in the home. Please take them off at the front.
5. Any missing or damaged items will be charged retail cost through the portal as part of our process.
6. Any parties or excessive noise causing neighbors to complain will result in us asking you to leave without a refund of your stay
7. Management fee covers a damage protection insurance waiver during your stay.
8. Please observe and respect the Quiet Hours: 10PM - 8AM
9. Any unauthorized guests will be charged an extra $100/guest/night
10. The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. The Host has not represented this unit as an event facility, therefore, there is a limit to the number of any visitors (in addition to the booked guests) at any one time to 2. For additional visitors, please inquire with the host.

3. The Host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

4. Host allows children with the following stipulations:
- Guests are responsible for any and all necessary 'baby proofing'.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

5. Do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper (even if it is “flushable”.) Any damages caused to the plumbing system as a result of improper use will be at the expense of the guest.

6. Pets MUST be disclosed to the host. Pets are restricted to a 40lb weight limit. An additional cleaning fee will apply if pet waste is not disposed of properly.

7. Do NOT enter or climb the treehouse. It is not maintained and is therefore restricted from guests for their safety.

8. Do NOT enter the Koi fish pond or feed the fish.

9. If the key is not returned/lost/damaged, there is a $25 fee for a new key.

Hang out under the Tiki hut, catch the sun in lounge chairs on the pool deck or dock, refresh with a dip in the pool, fish off the dock, or take the kayaks for a paddle down to Lake Delray. 15 minutes or less to down town Delray Beach or Boca Raton shops, restaurants, festivals, nightlife, and their beaches.

Guest access
The apartment is attached to the main house but completely isolated from it including its own AC unit and with a private entrance with self check-in keypad lock from the pool deck. There is a well lighted and groomed path around the side of the house to the pool deck in the back. There are four steps up to the pool deck and two steps up into the room from the pool deck. The private entrance is just feet from the solar warmed pool. When the South Florida sun shines as it often does, the solar pool warming system can bring the temperature up as much as 10 degrees by mid-afternoon from the morning temperature.

Other things to note
The hosts live on the property with their Irish Wolfhound mix rescue dog Rusty who is very people friendly but not animal friendly, so guests may not have any pets on the property at any time, including service dogs unfortunately. Rusty may be in the side and back yard a few times a day, typically first thing in the morning and later in the evening before going to bed, and sometimes during the day.

The host is also a senior competitive barefoot water skier and uses the boat parked on the ramp next to the apartment several times a week weather and schedule allowing. This is usually in the early morning - 8am or so - and he and another skier or two will be on the dock getting ready to go out, and will be back after a couple hours cleaning up and putting the boat back on the trailer. Otherwise the owners are not pool or pool deck users so the area is all yours.

There are many attractions in the area including North ten miles Dreher Park Zoo, 15 miles to downtown West Palm Beach with many arts and music festivals during the winter season and Palm Beach, and 36 miles north and west to Lion Country Safari. South is Ft. Lauderdale with its beautiful beaches (20 mi), Miami and Biscayne Bay waterfront and world renowned Metro Zoo (60 - 75 mi), Everglades National Park (86 mi), 2 ½ hours to Key Largo the gateway to the Florida Keys with the beautiful John Pennecamp National Seashore, and 4 ½ hours to Key West the Southernmost point in the US.
