When you're not enjoying our outdoor amenities that include a play set, relax in your very own home theater with 66" HD Smart TV. Full kitchen has all major appliances and assorted small ones. It is fully supplied for preparing full-course meals.
*Private entrance is off a ground floor mudroom accessed directly from outside. The bedroom features a very comfy queen bed and the living and dining areas can hold two twin air mattresses for the kids. Both the LR and BR can hold the full-sized crib. Please note that dining table only seats two, but TV tables and a high chair are available. Note that adding additional portable beds significantly reduces the floor space! Some families have opted for their kids to sleep on the couch and love seat in sleep sacks we provide. Also available: a portable crib, high chair, baby monitor (think "hot tub" use), stroller, baby backpack and toys are available.
*The front yard has a play set, bocce court, horseshoes, charcoal grill, and dining set. Guests may use these facilities without any notice to us.
*Backyard has a three-level deck, swimming pool with lounge chairs and umbrella table for four or more, hammock, gas grill, picnic table, outdoor living room, and a screen porch with hot tub. We'd like to preserve your privacy so please let us know when you plan to use these amenities.
* On the north side is a fire pit with seating, and a hammock further up in the woods. If you are uncertain how to light a successful fire, don't hesitate to ask. Written assistance is also located in the ammo box located in the wood bin.
*We have our own private "daily" deck and a top-floor deck so you may never see us! All outdoor spaces are accessible to our guests, with the exception of the aforementioned private decks only accessible from our house..
*Prior notification is requested for use of the hot tub and gas grill; and pool whenever you expect to spend a significant part of the day in and around it. When in doubt -- ask!
*Fee for an approved dog is $15 per dog per night. Please request a copy of and agree to the doggie rules; and tell us something about your pet.
*Our neighbor's construction of the 6' chain-link fence has dramatically reduced any "foreign" animal visits (as have our dogs) we still have deer, a rafter of turkeys (including two huge toms in the spring), an abnormally large and jaunty red fox, a pack of coyotes, a rarely-seen bobcat, and birds of every feather, including woodpeckers, owls, and vultures. Oh, and squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits! So, please don't let your little dogs out unleashed very early in the morning or into the evening.
*2024 update: Black bear have been seen routing through garbage cans at the southern end of the greenspace/river that we face but no people encounters. Black bears are generally non-agressive and will most often leave an encounter with a human, if possible. Do NOT run away!
*Bus, rail, Uber, Lyft and Enterprise Rental cars are all available, as are grocery, restaurant, and pharmacy delivery.

- "If you are browsing other properties just stop right now! I travel for work & fun.This place is incredible!!! Oasis! Pat and Gabe are the warmest most thoughtful people. Their dogs, Nate & Molly, are the most well behaved sweetest dogs. So comfortable, clean, stunning views, best pool, great grill, hot tub, a playground! Everything so close: hiking, beach, shopping, fishing, all types of great restaurants. We did it all! Just a perfect place! Tips n tricks: - another person suggested bringing your own pillows. Agreed! Especially if you prefer fancy neck pillows or need a certain type of softness/firmness. - The most gorgeously wooded spot with Instagram worthy views. BUT bring bug spray if you are like my husband who is easily chewed up by mosquitos. (summer only) - Kitchen pantry: Read the listing and house manual. Reminder: most owners don't stock but occasionally you get ones that do. This is not that. Anything like cling wrap, tin foil, plastic bags, oils, spices, sugar, sheet pans...bring your own or grab at the nearby dollar store. - The apartment is set to 76 degrees. You have your own air conditioning which cools down but it defaults back to 76. So if you are going on a weekend like ours which was 100 degrees, and you like your temperature cooler (especially for sleeping) bring a fan or grab one at the local Walmart for $20. Going back in the fall! Can't wait already."

- "Check in was all messed up because Owner sent bad info and pictures to our duplex neighbor, essentially booking both of us to the same unit. It was embarrassing showing up at our unit only to find another family already there. Wasn't that family's fault. Owner sent old pictures to them and a door code that worked in both units. We ended up taking their unit instead. Owner offered us a tidy $20 discount for the inconvenience (never received). These units are bare-bones. The pictures in the Kitchen and the Family Rooms look good, but there is virtually no furniture besides beds in the bedrooms. One bedroom had a TV on the wall and one small side table. No dressers or anywhere but the floor for luggage and clothes, and no closet. The second bedroom had a closet, a small little desk to put a suitcase on and that's it. No TV. The bathroom was small and fine, but it had the only mirror (small) in the whole unit. Girls don't like that! Lastly, the cheap vinyl mini blinds stream in sunshine in the morning --- very cheap. Wouldn't stay here again."

VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT IS NOT A LEASE AND CONVEYS NO RIGHTS IN REAL PROPERTY AT ANY TIME. YOUR USE IS LIMITED TO THAT STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT.

COVERED PERIOD: Your sole right to use the Property begins at [3PM] check-in and ends at [11AM check-out], unless other times are approved in writing in advance by the host. This agreement is in effect from the time and date of the confirmation of your booking of the Property.

GUESTS: You may not exceed the number of people stated on your reservation confirmation at any time without prior approval of the host. This limitation applies regardless of whether such persons are staying the night or just visiting. If more people are found to occupy the premises than on the original booking, the guest agrees to pay $100 per extra guest. Guests are required to submit a valid ID and a selfie holding a valid ID for security purposes.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Special events, including but not limited to weddings and parties, are not permitted without the prior written approval of the Cohost.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: DJ equipment and PA speakers are prohibited without prior written approval. Additionally, the following items are considered damaging and are not allowed on the property; you will be charged a cleaning fee if found in violation of this rule.

CANCELLATIONS: If for any reason beyond the control of the Property owner, the Property is unavailable for use by Guest, host may cancel your reservation with only a refund of the actual fees and/or deposits you have paid.

OWNER ACCESS: The guest shall allow the owner of the Property or any designated workers access to the Property for landscaping and routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and inspection of buildings.

SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed inside the house on the Property or within 15 feet of any exterior door of the house.

SURVEILLANCE: The guest must also acknowledge and accept that there are surveillance or recording devices on the Property. Please contact us for field of view questions. These outside cameras are never to be covered for any reason.

PETS: Pets are not allowed.

NOISE: Be considerate of the neighbors and keep music and voices at a respectful volume. There is a county-wide noise ordinance of no amplified music or loud noises after 10pm.

FURNITURE: Please do not take furniture from inside the house and use it outside. If for some reason you decide to rearrange any of the furniture, you are responsible for returning it to where it was located when you arrived. Our cleaners are unable to move heavy furniture. If you do move furniture, please lift rather than drag heavy items so as not to damage the floors.

SEWAGE/SEPTIC SYSTEM
All of the plumbing is on septic and the toilets are very sensitive. NO WET WIPES, INCLUDING FLUSHABLE WET WIPES, TAMPONS, OR A LOT OF TOILET PAPER. If the plumber is needed to come out resulting in any of these items being flushed down the toilet the costs will be passed on to the guests along with a $500 charge. This has happened before and it's a huge gross mess. :)

Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Cohost, the Property owner, and their employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including the value of missing items, resulting from Guest’s failure to follow the rules stated in this Agreement or as a result of the causes stated below in this paragraph.

Accordingly, the host may withhold all or part of your deposit if you fail to follow the rules in this Agreement, the Property listing, or the Property house manual. If the cost of damages, losses, or missing items resulting from the Guest’s failure to follow the rules or as a result of the causes stated in this paragraph should exceed the amount of the deposit, the host will bill the Guest’s credit card for the difference and/or pursue legal action. Cause(s) for withholding deposit funds, charging Guest’s credit card, and/or pursuing legal action include, but are not limited to: damage to premises or contents; missing or broken items; lost keys; required excessive cleaning; failure to comply fully with the departure checklist; smoke odors or damage; mailing charges for items left behind; unauthorized persons visiting or staying on the property; the presence of a dog without authorization; noise complaints after 10 pm, including related fines; trespassing on neighboring properties; and unauthorized late check-out.

It is a very comfortable unit, with plenty of storage, in a 3-unit house. This is a quiet house on a quiet side street. There's a 28- day minimum stay, 3-month maximum stay (with the possibility of extension, owner calendar and family needs allowing). It's a flat $2800 monthly rate, which includes Wi-Fi and all utilities.
Parking is no problem and easily available on the street right outside the house.
Pets will be considered on case-by-case basis, for an extra fee and possibly with extra deposit.
There is also a refundable security deposit of $2800 to be paid to the host by PayPal, Venmo, personal check or direct bank deposit at the time of move in and satisfaction that everything is as advertised.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for traveling nurses or group of up to 4 in a lovely, newly renovated, 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor. Temper-Pedic mattresses in two of the bedrooms. Hardwood floor throughout. Open layout in living room and kitchen. Living room has a 75” smart 4K TV. Beautiful bathroom with a standup shower. 5 minute walk to griffin hospital. You will not regret staying here. :)

We provide napkins, not paper towels at our properties. Please feel free to bring paper towels if it is a necessity for you. Since the cost has gone up with inflation, it costs a lot to keep paper towels stocked at all of our properties. Although it is not an amenity listed or required by Air Bnb, I would like to notify guests just in case it’s expected. Thank you so much for your understanding.
