The Casa Biologica stands in the sunny, peaceful village of Calheta and guarantees you an unforgettable holiday in the southwest at 320 m altitude with an unobstructed view. Look over the infinity of the ocean and into the unspoiled nature of the mountains. We are a Non smoking house and built according to ecological guidelines. The terrain is nestled in a terraced way down into the garden. It consists of three separate living units with separate entrances and separate sun terraces. Two of them are apartments for 2 - 4 persons. The small apartment with 30 - 40 m² + the large apartment with 72 m² (see picture above and picture of large apartment with property number 527855). The interiors are high quality and weitgehenst biologically allergic-friendly built (Kalkkaseinfarbe) and tiled with terracotta (bio wax). The apartments are fully furnished (with everything your heart desires) and equipped with wood stoves (romantic). Insider tips are given to the guest by the owners, who also live in the house (2nd floor). The parking lot is next to our house in a parking bay. The location Calheta (central location) is ideal for hiking and exploring the island. The organic garden with sun terrace and barbecue (herb garden at leisure) invite you to rest. The infrared bio sauna and the whirlpool in the garden are available (both with sea view).

The small 30 m² cozy apartment (ceiling height 2.1 m, 2 beams 1.9 m height) is sufficient for 2 people, 40 m² for 3 people. It offers a fully equipped kitchen (with filtered high-quality drinking water), electric stove + oven, hand blender / whisk, long slotted toaster, espresso u. Coffee machine, müsliflocker, vacuum cleaner etc. Whether from the dining area or balcony (15 m² with wooden table, chairs, parasol and 2 sun loungers) you have an unobstructed view of the blue Atlantic Ocean. So you can enjoy the sun from about 8. 00 in the morning until afternoon. In the living room there are wicker furniture, a music system with CD`s and satellite TV (36 "flat screen with more than 30 German programs). Current hiking books and maps, games and books about Madeira (all in German), binoculars, Duftstöfchen, candles, Nähgarfüensilien, and a first aid box for emergencies is available.

Similar to alcoves we have a double bed (2 single mattresses without Fußbegrenzung, a'0,90 x 2,00 m) separated by a wooden grid from the living room. Natural foam mattresses with slatted frames let the tired hiker sleep very restful. A single room can be booked for a final fee. A small shower room follows. In the entire apartment screens are installed on the windows and on the balcony door. For cooler days (in winter), a wood stove is available.

The whirlpool, high-speed Internet access, towels and tea towels, table and bed linen, baby cot, baby high chair and firewood are all free of charge.

The infrared cabin, the washing machine and, if necessary, the dryer can be used for a small fee.

The house is ideally situated for the sandy beach and levada walking and sight seeing. It is close to several tourist places.
