You can choose to spend your vacation in a traditional house in Madeira that has been completely rebuilt, with modern facilities, but with a beautiful traditional style.
The space is an open space, with bright attic windows overlooking the mountains and the ocean - Ribeira de Janela (point of maximum interest in Madeira) and Rib. da Laje Bay.
The bathroom is closed and has an attic ceiling, with shower, sink and toilet. The ventilation of the bathroom is natural through the window overlooking the ocean. Hot water for the bathroom and kitchen is provided by an 80L electric boiler. The kitchen is an open space with natural ventilation through the attic window. Access is very easy, directly from VE 2, on a flat surface - stair access to studio. Parking is a 1 minute walk, on the right surface, in front of the ocean. Parking is free and is lit by street lighting.
The area allows walks in front of the ocean and the specially arranged area, with sidewalks and surrounded by palm trees. In the area, in the immediate vicinity there is a local restaurant and a restaurant with homemade food, bars with local drinks (poncha, nikita, wines and beer), promenades on the old streets of the village, immediate access to Jamaica beach and maximum 15 minutes walk to the Natural Pools (2 minutes by car) and 25 minutes walk to the Black Sand Beach and the Naval Club of Seixal (5 minutes by car).
You can also go for a walk on the mountain trails in the Chao da Ribeira area (a picturesque rural area) which is a 15 minute walk, you can do canyoning only 10 minutes walk. It is also near Porto Moniz, where there are volcanic ocean pools and other attractions.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
The grocery shop Mercearia Amanhecer is at 1.6 km.
The property has easy access to the major roads and there a bus stop nearby.

Remarks
A car is recommended to this location. There is the possibility of parking on the side of the road near the property.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels.
Due to the climate, there are also insects and lizards in the rural surroundings, which may be attracted to food scraps. For those who are uncomfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.
In the neighborhood there are some ruins of old rural houses, however they do not affect the comfort in the accommodation.
Occasionally, dogs may bark in the neighborhood and the sound of the sea can be intense on days of maritime agitation, which can affect noise at night in the surroundings.

Conditions
1. Partiesbehaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. Guests must inform about allergies, conditionsspecial needs beforeimmediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.

The double studio is located in front of the sea, is on the ground floor of the building and has the possibility of accessing an open outdoor space and a covered relaxation area. With 40 square meters, has a bedroom with window, a living room and an open kitchen, a hall and a bathroom with hydromassage cabin.

The space
Lazy Lizard by the Ocean offers you another modern-traditional space, a double studio with the specifics of Wine Spirit, developed in a traditional building in Madeira, completely rebuilt and modernized. The initial space was a wine cellar, a space where large barrels were stored in which wine was prepared. The space is located in front of the sea, overlooking Rib.da Laje Bay, is on the ground floor of the building and has the possibility of accessing an open outdoor space, as well as a covered relaxation area. The double studio has about 40 square meters and has a bedroom with window, a living room and an open kitchen, a hall and a bathroom with hydromassage cabin. Is fully equipped, with a kitchen designed in the space of the old oven of the house and maintains the traditional atmosphere of the Seixal area, a recognized wine-growing area. The area is one of a rare scenic that allows easy access both by car and on foot and you can organize walks in front of the ocean or on mountain trails. The double studio, even if it is in a 3-level building, has separate access and does not share common areas with other guests.
