- "We lived in this apartment for over a week and it was a favorite of the 3 we rented during our month-long stay in Deutschland. There were plenty of utensils for cooking, as well as space to eat at a full table with dishes and baskets to make a nice sit-down meal. The main bed was comfortable (did not try the bunk beds) and we were able to wash our clothes easily. Loved the full-apartment venting system for fresh air, especially since the ground floor apartment faces a street that had ongoing construction and was a bit noisy from that and occasional people wandering and talking into the night, which made keeping windows open not an easy task. Plenty of light and a wonderful bathroom and shower with plenty of storage and a window -- really nice! Nice foyer where you can stash coats and shoes. Owner lives in main building and was always friendly and available for questions or concerns. It was a bit cool in October but there was a table and chairs on a patio directly outside the living area, protected by a neatly clipped hedge, very lovely and inviting. We felt so at home we could have lived there for longer. Proximity to the park and walking downtown was exactly what we had hoped for. Also a well-regarded restaurant in walking distance. Many thanks to the owner for making such a lovely home for guests."

Payment and cancellation policy
When booking a deposit of 20% of the total price is due; the balance is to be paid no later than three days before arrival. Up to 30 days before arrival, guests can cancel free of charge. The guest pays in case of cancellation in the 30 days prior to arrival an amount equal to the total price. If the guest does not arrive, he pays an amount equal to the total price. If the guest does not meet the payment deadlines, the landlord can cancel the accommodation contract. Compensation is excluded in this case for the guest.
Cash payments on the spot are only possible in exceptional cases; this must be agreed in advance. A security deposit and tourist tax are not charged.

My approximately 20 square meter guest room is located in a 3-room apartment on the second floor of a detached house. The apartment is very quietly located but still central. Just around the corner is the center of the neighborhood with many shops serving daily needs. There is a good bus service to both the city center and Wilhelmshöhe train station. The stop is a 3-minute walk. The edge of the forest is 10 minutes away.

Since I use my beautiful apartment very little myself, I am happy to make it available to nice Kassel visitors. It is in the middle of the city, right on the party mile Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, which can also be heard with open windows. 20 minutes' walk from the Kulturbahnhof, tram connection right in front of the door, a bicycle is there, a second, slightly smaller one can be added. Places such as Dokumentaaktionen, Stadthalle, Kongress Palais Kassel, PALAIS HOPP, are within walking distance.

The space
In my offer for you, the entire apartment is meant for your exclusive use. It has a small hallway with a shoe rack, a kitchen in which, except for food, most things are there for cooking. Water decalcifier, coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster, Tefal OptiGrill, microwave, etc.
So that you as local guests do not have to buy drinks, I have a small stock of non-alcoholic drinks available. Here I ask for a contribution of €1.50 to the provided bowl. By the way, my gin collection and the wines are NOT included in the offer of use.
