While staying here, you will get to drive over a little bridge and past a winding stream to get to our historic stone house where you will stay. The original structure was built in 1758. Out in the country with Amish neighbors all around, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the little streams, rustic barn, and buggies going by on the road. The property use to be a winery with it's own vineyards. The house was where the vintner lived.

Please make yourself at home, we love when we see guests enjoying our property. We have lots of outside space you can use like a fire pit, lots of wooded area for a picnic or a walk, patio area, deck, or you can sit down by the stream to enjoy the peace and quiet sound of rushing water.
These are all shared spaces, so please be respectful to other guest when using them.

Other things to note

* There is no kitchen. The mini fridge is similar to what you would have at a hotel, but the other accommodations are much more spacious! Feel free to eat out, or get food delivered in. Dutchway Farm Market, 3 minutes away has a little walk in deli for a quick meal, or dine in at their restaurant. Pizza Box, also just minutes away, will deliver pizza as well.

* We have a laundry room. Go out the front door and head straight to the red barn where the big deck staircase is. You will see a dark brown door underneath the deck. The door is always unlocked & the light switch is inside the door, feel free to help yourself.

The first floor offers a sitting area with a 55 inch tv, bar height table, stunning custom kitchen and washer/dryer. It has a spiral staircase that leads up to the 2nd floor that offers a king size bed with a large walk in shower.

There is WiFi and a Bose sound system w/CD player.

Dozens of live plants bring their own air purifying magic to the air as well. Also the soft glow of a Himalayan salt lamp adds to both the ambience and natural air purification as well as an essential oil diffuser. I'm concerned about health and purity so you will not find air fresheners or strong scented candles in my units.

More about the space…The Loft was once the hayloft for Ammon’s Amish grandfather whose horse and buggy were housed below. Ammon who works in construction, turned it into a lovely open sanctuary with nine skylights and eight windows.

We are surrounded by our Amish neighbors who you will likely see wallking, pushing scooters or in their buggies using the farm lane directly beside our driveway.

We are just minutes away from many local attractions. The town of Intercourse is famous for Kitchen Kettle Village and horse and AAA Buggy Rides. Also close to the Rockvale Square and Tanger Outlets along with Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater and so much more. We are within a few miles of famous Amish cooking restaurants such as Bird In Hand Family Restaurant, Miller’s Smorgasbord, Dienner’s Country Restaurant and Katie’s Kitchen.

There are eight skylights in the unit creating a beautiful atmosphere of space and lighting. We also have a large back yard you are welcome and sit and relax in as well as request the use of an outdoor fire pit and our gorgeous new Garden Patio.

- "Clean and very well supplied home away from home. The traffic outside was noisy with trucks, motorcycles, cars. The clip clop of the horses hooves was welcome sound. The fire trucks went out and surely were very noisy. Station is right across the street. Onlaslt day ther someone must have been baking and just like that the fire alarm in all the apartments went off with the robot voice saying over and over ,"Fire - Fire - Fire". Got our attention for sure!!"
