The property was clean and well presented with easy access for our elderly visitors. Parking on site was very helpful. There were not enough of each type of drinking glass, we only had 2 tumblers. The floors were not particularly clean, we bought a mop and some commercial grade anti-bacterial wipes and cleaned all the floors ourselves. There was a constant 'drain' smell coming from the main bedroom shower room, we used bleach in the plug holes and toilet, but we couldn't get rid of the smell. There was no window blind in main bedroom bathroom. Although the window was 'opaque' glass, a persons image can still be seen through it. The rooms were spacious enough, to accommodate 4 adults. The rear artificial grass area was a welcome feature, giving us room to entertain our friends and their children. There is a pub nearby, along with 2 small convenience stores. The shop over the canal bridge stocks quite a good variety of groceries, toiletries etc. The nearby canal offers some peaceful walks and there are plenty of ducks and swans to see on the walks. There was adequate 'nice' towels provided, the beds were comfortable and the sheets were changed weekly."

The room is in a shared peaceful and centrally-located house. The house is close to the Center of Loughborough it’s just a short walk through Queens Park to get there. All the major bus stops are around 10 minutes walk away. The house is ideally situated between town and Loughborough university. It’s one of 3 rooms on Airbnb so you won’t be the only guest. If this room is fully booked please check our other rooms at Heathcoat Street :)

The room is at the back of the house right next to the bathroom, that makes it easy for you but there are two other rooms that share the same bathroom so that’s something to be aware of. The bed has an Emma mattress and is freshly decorated and has tea and coffee. The kitchen has a wider choice of teas and feel free to use the fridge too

Please be respectful of other guests staying in the house. Keep shared areas tidy. We come in to clean most days if you notice anything.

Other guests in the house can only book if they have a good track record and you can lock the room from the inside.

The Skylink bus stop from East Midlands Airport is a 7-minute walk away. It’s about the same distance from the bus stops in town that go to Leicester and Nottingham.

The train station is a little further, approx 30 minutes walk and a little longer if you choose the scenic route along the canal. Plenty of taxis are usually waiting on your arrival.
