The location isn’t near big shops but has a well stocked Tesco Express and it was only a short, inexpensive Uber ride to bigger shops. There are great local cafes within 5 minutes walk. The building has secure parking if needed. We absolutely loved the canal walks and this was an unexpected highlight of the stay there! There is a train station 5 minutes drive or 20 minute walk. Train handily goes to Stratford upon Avon or Birmingham. The area is very quiet and safe. The WiFi is basic so you can’t really stream lots of movies or do heavy work on Teams or Zoom but Jo explained that to us and said local cafes have free WiFi as well. I used my own eSIM data because I needed to work a lot remotely. The kitchen is great and has enough to cook meals with and has a good sized fridge. Overall Jo was an amazing host and made sure my daughter and I were happy and comfortable while we were there."

I was very courteous, but the host hung up on me after he said he could not help us with our needs for the accommodations. The apartment was dirty, and infested with moths and some spider webs. The sofa was filthy. On the check out day, the cleaner showed up an hour early and told us we were supposed to be out. The kitchen includes all the essentials. There is very little noise from the other apartments. The communal areas are clean and cared for. I was born and spent my childhood in Birmingham and this did not feel anything like the areas close to the centre. It is leafy and pleasant. The house is in an estate which has built up around what seems to be an old hamlet, so there is a mix of quaint old buildings and very nice newer ones. The roads are not that busy. There is a park, a couple of good pubs and a small shopping area close by. It took a bit of research to find them and a bit more information about things like this would mean you could get your stay off to a flying start. It took me over a day to discover them. The Space:
Our keyless self-check-in allows for an effortless access to the property any time after 4:00pm. All check-in information and further steps will be provided on your Boarding Pass. Completing online check-in will result in automatic access codes release via your Boarding Pass around 90 minutes before your scheduled check-in time. We may meet and greet you in person, check photo ID and bank card used for the payment in case of a suspicion of fraudulent booking. All properties are equipped with CCTV that monitor who enters and leaves the property.
