No smoking whatsoever is permitted anywhere around the property. If you smoke please do not book this property. There is one parking space for a car. If you are bringing anything larger than a car please get in touch before your arrival and we shall have to jiggle vehicles around.

The flat contains everything you need for a holiday or a comfortable stay in the Cotswolds.

Tachbrook started life as a mid-17th century cottage with a second cottage added next door during the Victorian era. The current owners completely renovated and restored the two cottages, with the Georgian half forming the living room and master bedroom and the Victorian half forming the remainder of the house. Both sides blend perfectly, retaining the character of each era, to form the luxury, Grade-II listed holiday home that you see today.
At the front is an immaculate garden with a stone path leading to the front door. A drive and garage sit to the left-hand side, providing parking for two cars. To the right-hand side is a residential lane where guests will find a wooden gate that opens to the garden and patio – also accessible through the kitchen.
Welcoming is the best way to describe Tachbrook's interior. The owners' attention to detail, using the perfect combination of colour, fabrics, furniture and lighting, has created a style that would easily feature in any interior magazine. On the ground floor is a delightful living room with a wood burner and a beautiful dining room connecting through to the fully equipped kitchen, with a back door out to the garden and patio. Upstairs are two bedrooms - one with a super king-size bed and en-suite shower room and the other with two single beds - and a large family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. (The twin beds can be converted to a super-king on request).
Ground Floor
Living Room:
Step through the front door into the living room and the Georgian side of the house. This beautiful, dual-aspect room, with its pretty bay window and view to the garden behind, is light, bright and elegantly furnished with two sofas, an armchair, a footstool, occasional tables and reading lamps. The room features a large, original inglenook fireplace with a wood burner fire. A smart TV is provided, with a Sky Sports package, as well as family games, books and walking maps.
Dining Room:
Guests will notice the change of era as they walk into the dining room, with its higher ceiling and delicate, Victorian, glass-fronted china cabinets. The room is furnished with a large rectangular table to comfortably seat four guests and has an electric wood burner-effect stove and sideboard. At the bay window is a parlour-like setting with two chairs for guests to sit and read by the light streaming into the front of the house.
Kitchen:
The Kitchen adjoins the dining room through an arch, creating a light and bright, open-plan space entertaining area. The kitchen is fully equipped, with every appliance guests need for a self-catering/or catered-for stay, including a 5-ring, induction Rangemaster oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and Bosch fridge-freezer, with brilliant white preparation space and a quirky half table. A back door opens from the kitchen out to the lovely garden and patio. Beside the back door is a large boiler cupboard with cleaning items, fire extinguisher and hoover.
Throughout the downstairs area, there is engineered oak flooring, which is comfortable in the winter and cool in the warmer months.First Floor

The master bedroom is on the Georgian side of the property, looking out to St Mary's Church. This calming bedroom with its white-grey colourway features an original exposed 17th-century beam, running from one side to another. Tall guests take note! The bedroom is furnished with a super king-size bed with bedside drawers and reading lamps, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers-cum-dressing table with a mirror over, and a smart TV on an extra-wide chest of drawers.
En-suite:

The terrace has a seating area beside the living room windows and a raised patio with a large, circular table, chairs and a parasol – the perfect spot for al fresco entertaining. Two reclining sun loungers are provided for guests to use on the raised lawn or patio. The garage is accessible through a rear door off the patio. In here guests will find the washing machine, tumble dryer and outdoor cushions.

Situated in the quiet village of Over Norton. No pub in the village but it’s ten minutes walk to Chipping Norton town centre which has all the tea rooms pubs and restaurants you could wish for. Soho farmhouse, Diddly Squat and Bourton on the Water are all nearby.
The flat is large and light and spacious with its own private keyed entrance so you can come and go as you please. The owner lives downstairs and is happy to provide information on local places and attractions.
The flat can sleep two but it is also ideal just for one person
It is no smoking. Please do not book if you smoke or even if you intend to smoke outside. This is not acceptable
The flat is fully equipped and has a four ring hob, microwave, toaster and all the pots pans and crockery and cutlery you need. There is also a dishwasher and fridge.
There is a lovely shower which is huge. The hot water is constant.
The WiFi signal is excellent and the WiFi password will be provided on your arrival.
The area is a favourite with dog walkers and hikers alike.
The flat is newly decorated and modern. A great place to stay if you want a bolthole or are visiting friend or family in the area.

The property was very well presented particularly with the furnishings & picture displays. Terrace at the rear very useful in fine weather. First floor, entire apartment with 2 double bedrooms. Located on Chipping Norton high street in the centre of the town, within minutes of this charming Cotswold town’s shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
As you enter the charming Grade II listed building, you will be welcomed by the communal entrance and find our apartment on the first floor. Walking into the home, you will be immediately drawn to the sun-soaked open-plan kitchen, living room and dining area, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring.
This space offers comfortable seating, with a feature fireplace and sash windows, spacious dining area and beautiful kitchen, with all the essentials you need for cooking and sharing a meal together during your stay. Further down the hallway, you'll see the beautiful, refurbished bathroom and two bedrooms, boasting a double and a king size bed with state-of-the-art brand new mattresses, perfect for a great night's sleep. The property is a brand new development in a listed building, which was carefully restored at the beginning of 2024 - so everything is brand new.
In terms of location, this property is perfect. The Chipping Norton Theatre and Lido are just a short walk away and there are a plethora of circular local shops, restaurants and walks available on the doorstep.
We would highly recommend the infamous Diddly Squat Farm Shop which is down the road, or popping into nearby Daylesford Organic or Burford Garden Centre.
The iconic celebrity-spotting Soho Farmhouse is 15 minutes away by car or taxi, and the stunning Aynhoe Park, a free to enter Grade I-listed 73-acre landmark estate, is a 20 minute drive away, where you can wander round the estate, grab a coffee and cake, or stop for a woodfire pizza in their gorgeous outdoor terrace and watch the deer being fed.
To truly experience the county's rich heritage, Blenheim Palace is an essential stop and a favourite among visitors. Wander through the magnificent buildings steeped in unique history, or stroll through the breathtaking gardens that encircle the Palace. With a vibrant calendar of events throughout the year, it's worth checking what's on before your visit. Another key heritage site is Chastleton House, a remarkable example of Jacobean architecture completed in 1612.

Experience and enjoy living in this spacious, newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment right in the heart of this ancient market town. Charlbury is set in the beautiful Evenlode valley and is surrounded by the stunning Cotswold countryside.
There's much to explore in town including some terrific pubs and eateries, as well as being ideally located for Blenheim, Burford, Kingham and many other Cotswold village gems. Charlbury has its own mainline station with easy access to and from Oxford and London.
The apartment is light and airy with plenty of room to move about. There is a comfortable open plan living and dining space with a well equipped kitchen. A large bathroom with a spacious shower.
The bedroom is well proportioned and accommodates a luxury super king-sized bed, which can be separated to two singles on request, if preferred.
Guests will have the whole apartment to themselves, and off-road parking is possible (please contact the host)
Entry to the property is via smart lock, with instructions provided prior to check-in.
The apartment is situated in Market Street, in the Anglo-Saxon heart of old Charlbury. There are four pubs, two café-delis, a Coop convenience store, a pharmacy and a museum very close by, and the railway station and Evenlode river are just a 5 minute walk.

The cottage is situated within a delightful position within the village of Kingham and is accessed along an attractive private driveway with ample gravelled parking. The front porch allows you to retire your boots, hang your coat and make your way into this stunning retreat. The kitchen is well equipped and boasts integrated appliances, wooden worktops and a quarry tiled floor leading to a favourable utility room and downstairs cloakroom. It sleeps two in a 6 foot bed with half tester hangings, with ensuite bathroom. There is a huge open plan reception/dining room/library which, if wanted can be arranged for a dinner or lunch for 20 or 30 with one or two more round tables and lots of folding chairs. The kitchen has an island unit, 2 dishwashers, big side by side US style fridge freezer, range cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer (in corridor). There is a dish rack, hatch through to drawing room; cutlery and crockery for 30 if called for. Outside is a small terrace to East and West, with garden furniture, umbrella and barbeque. All surrounded by trellis, clematis, roses and shrubs.
It can sleep up to three, with two in beds and one in a cot or camp bed (2+1).

The space
The flat is fully equipped with everything you can need. The owner lives next door.
There is one really comfortable double bed Own kitchenette which has a 2 ring hob, toaster, kettle, microwave etc. Fully equipped with cutlery and crockery. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket for your safety plus first aid kit is supplied. Heating is off in the summer months. We are trialling a folding table in the room. I personally think it takes up too much space but guests seem to love it. If you don’t want it in the room I can always remove it.
Central Heating radiators are on 1st November until 1 st April each year. 7am - 1030am + 4 - 10pm at a comfortable 20 C.

If you wish to rent extra PAT tested electric heating from me you can at a rent of £2.50 per 24 hours or part thereof. This is to cover any extra electricity used especially.

Up Above is detached, newly converted and furnished loft style accommodation on a quiet street in Middle Barton. It has its own entrance hall with coat and boot storage, you go up some stairs to a double bedded room that has a SmartTV with FreeSat. There is a table with two chairs suitable for eating or working along with a small sofa for relaxing. There is a kitchenette to include a kettle, toaster, drinks cooler/fridge, complimentary tea/coffee and chilled water. There is also a fully tiled luxury shower room with underfloor heating - hand wash and towels provided. The velux windows in the main room can be opened but they also have blackout blinds if required. There is off-street parking for 1 car and if required there is a secure garage available that would need to be pre-booked and would be subject to an extra fee (contact us for more information). Street parking is also available. The accommodation has its own independent hot water and heating system.
A breakfast tray of bread, jams, butter, a selection of cereals, milk and orange juice is also included in your stay.

This is a well equipped spacious one bed flat with a king size bed. It accommodates two, but can sleep up to four people with the use of the sofa bed. It's approximatley 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Charlbury. Open plan lounge/kitchen area. Off street parking for up to two cars. Use of the front garden for sitting out and watching the sunset of an evening. Charlbury has some lovely pubs and is an ideal base if you'd like to visit Oxford, Blenheim Palace and many other Cotswold towns.

'The Loft' is above the garage so you will have stairs upto the flat. This gives you a lovely view of the fields out of the bedroom window.

The detached annexe is situated within our own garden and has its own parking and lockbox for self check-in.
The self-contained annexe includes a combined living room, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen area includes a 2 ring hob, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and kettle.
The living area has a sofa and Freeview Television.
The cosy bedroom includes a double-bed, storage drawers and two single wardrobes.
Leading off the bedroom is the en-suite shower room, containing a shower, wash basin, wc, heated towel rail and storage.

The outside area includes a seating area with a bistro table and two chairs.
The Cotswolds is home to some picturesque villages including Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury, Cheltenham and Broadway.

Daylesford is approx 15 minutes drive, Burford is 10 minutes, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are 20 minutes, Blenheim Palace is 20-25 minutes and Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm is 10 minutes.

Glyme Flat is located within the boundaries of the main farmhouse, situated on a 600 acre farm bordering the Cotswolds. The property can sleep 4 people in two good sized bedrooms. Its setting is idyllic with lakes, farmland and many public walk ways. Enjoyed by both those who like a relaxing escape in the countryside or would like to work away from the office for a change.

Glyme Flat is a newly renovated 2 bedroom flat, which sits above our rustic barn and is ideal for those looking for a relaxing getaway or would like to work away from office. It has a spacious living area, a master bedroom with Kingsize bed, a second bedroom with double bed and a modern bathroom. There is parking for two cars and lots of outdoor space.
The property has its own front door entrance, as well as a direct access onto the back garden which features a large fruit and vegetable patch for use by our guests.
