- "This was stop number eight for my daughter and I as we travel around the globe. Wanted to see and experience the English countryside, and Evesham was the perfect location for doing that with it's proximity to train and bus connections and the beautiful Cotswolds. Any questions or concerns we had were always answered immediately. Great communication with the Host. The accommodation was very clean and immaculate., lovely, very comfortable and spacious. Really enjoyed being there. Wifi worked. Beds were comfy and clean. The shower had plenty of hot water and the water pressure remained strong and constant. Perfect accommodation for short term stays. We were there for almost four weeks and found that there are things that could be improved for longer stays. The fridge was tiny. Tiny. There were no large bowls for holding fruit or soup. For a four week stay, I had to ask for the bedding and towels to be changed, and they were changed only once as there is no washer in the premises and no laundromat in the town. Luckily I made friends with a local lady who washed my bedding and towels. For a fee, the Host would have done it weekly but I thought that was not proper. Again, for a long stay we were provided with the tiniest bottle of dishwashing liquid I've ever seen. A shelf in the bathroom to hold toiletries and cosmetics would have been nice. But apart from all that, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a short stay."

The property is located on our family farm and we are lucky to be surrounded by wonderful countryside whilst being very accessible from a number of major roads.

We are on the northern edge of the Cotswolds and 15 minutes away from Stratford-upon Avon. Villages such as Chipping Camden, Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold are only a short drive away.

The space
The space includes a king size bed, small kitchenette (single electric hob, microwave, kettle and fridge), seating and an en-suite bathroom. We do have a single sofa bed which would be suitable for a child and we are able to provide travel cots and highchairs should they be required.

The property has private parking and a key safe for arrival meaning you are able to come and go as you please.

We have a large garden with a moat that you are welcome to explore, but we have also created a separate area to give you some privacy at the back of the garage. It's a real sun trap with seating and a gas BBQ if you feel like doing some cooking whilst you're away!

Whilst the property does not have a washing machine, use of our home appliances could be arranged for guests wishing to stay for a longer period of time.

The property is within the garden of our family home and we have two very friendly dogs who are often playing in the garden and looking for attention!

Please note: Access to the property is up a flight of very steep external stairs. There is a hand rail.

Clara Cottage is a cosy and comfortable 1890s Grade II listed cottage, beautifully refurbished to combine modern amenities with traditional charm. Set within two picturesque courtyards that are characteristic of the quintessential Cotswold cottages of Ashwin Court, Clara Cottage offers a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you step through the door. The space
Clara cottage is a semi-detached property situated within beautiful twin courtyards. The stable door entrance opens into an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen.

The living spaces comprise of a well equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for four (including a highchair), cosy living room with two bucket chairs and sofa with footstool. WIFI, a flat screen SMART TV. You can sign in to your own Netflix account or other apps - just remember to sign out ;).DVD player, DAB radio with Bluetooth to play your own music. Games and DVDs for children and adults are available and a few books to read. The cottage also benefits from a dishwasher and washing machine.

Stairs lead up from the living area to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms:

Master bedroom: a light and airy bedroom, with front window over-looking the main courtyard and a feature window looking over the staircase (adding to the lightness of the room). There is a king size bed with Harrison Spinks mattress, small set of drawers (which can also be used as a dressing table), and wall hooks for hanging clothing.

Second bedroom: the room comprises of a double bed with memory foam mattress, small set of drawers, a velux style sky light with blackout blind and wall hooks for hanging clothes.

Bathroom: a contemporary bathroom suite with a shower over the bath.

The property benefits from one allocated parking space in the car park to the rear of the courtyards. Beyond the car park are landscaped communal gardens, with benches inviting alfresco dining and rotary washing lines for drying laundry (pegs provided).

If you are travelling with babies or young children, there is a travel cot with bassinet (please bring your own bedding), high chair, babybath, changing mat, childrens utensils/plateware, bedguard, toilet seat and stool all available for your use. We understand little people have a lot of stuff! Hopefully this means there's a little less to worry about or pack!

All towels, linen, toilet roll, hand wash, dishwasher & laundry tablets and hand sanitiser are provided.
