The Little House is on The Hill in Burford, a Grade II listed cottage in the heart of this historic town, has medieval origins with stone mullion windows, a flagstone floor and exposed beams. On the River Windrush with its steeply rising High Street, Burford is known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds, one of the most picturesque towns in England. An historic market town, buildings with medieval origins and Tudor and Georgian frontages line the High Street, the alleyways and side streets are a warren of discoveries and the medieval bridge and St John's Church all claim your attention.
There are loads of charming villages close by that all be reached in as little as 15 minutes. These include Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Inside half-an-hour you are at Broadway, known as the Jewel of the Cotswolds. The fully fitted kitchen comprises:- an electric oven/grill, four gas hobs, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso Machine (additional capsules may be purchased), washing machine, under counter fridge with integrated icebox, glassware, crockery and pans. There is more than enough to self cater but should you require anything else, please ask and we will endeavour to obtain it. Breakfast can easily be found at the Garden Centre or in town. Burford town centre is easily walkable. To explore the wider area travel by car or bike is recommended. Charlbury Train Station is 15 minutes by car/taxi.
There is off-street parking for one vehicle only and we would ask that you access the drive slowly to avoid coming into contact with our children and animals. We have five lovely chickens which reside in a spacious run and two kittens!
Please be aware that the Coach House is situated in a rural area and therefore the Wi-fi connectivity and strength can be variable.

The space
The Garret is new, spacious apartment, situated on the second floor. Upon entering the apartment, you arrive in a small hallway area, with a storage cupboard and hanging rail for shoes and coats.
You then enter into a spacious, bright, fully fitted kitchen. The kitchen is complete with integrated oven and induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and kettle and toaster. It also features an integrated full height fridge/freezer and washer and dryer. The kitchen offers plentiful storage. An iron, ironing board and clothes airer is also provided for your convenience.
Off the kitchen, is a modern bathroom, complete with fitted bath and overhead shower, wash basin, WC and large heated towel rail. Complimentary toiletries and towels are provided and we pride ourselves on the exceptional levels of cleanliness we strive to achieve.
The kitchen leads into a spacious, bright, dining and living area. There is a dining area with table and seating for four people. The lounge area consists of
a three-seater sofa and two-seater sofa, coffee tables, standard lamp and a large flat screen smart TV with free-view and the option for guests to use their own streaming services e.g. Netflix or Amazon Prime.
A small selection of traditional board games, as well as plentiful leaflets and guides about the local area are also provided.
Off the living room is a bedroom which boasts a king-size bed with Egyptian cotton bed linen. The bedroom features plentiful storage, including a double wardrobe and chest of drawers. The elegant dressing table with mirror and stool provides an area to sit and get ready in the morning. A full length mirror, hairdryer and smart tv are also provided in the bedroom.
