The beautiful and immaculate country-cottage kitchen has been carefully designed so that every appliance you'll need for your stay is there, but cleverly hidden away to provide everything you need in a small space; the only obvious appliance is the gas hob with built-in oven and extractor hood above. However, an integral slimline Hotpoint dishwasher and an integral fridge can be found beside the cooker, whilst behind an ingenious bifold cupboard you'll find the bread bin, Kenwood microwave, and Dualit toaster and kettle. The wall units house everything you'll need to cater for your group. There's also an iron under the large ceramic sink and a high chair, picnic basket and vacuum in the under-stair cupboard.

Utility/Laundry Room:
A compact space where you'll find the Hotpoint combined washing machine/dryer, a small library of books, rechargeable tea light candles, and storage cupboards housing cleaning materials and the boiler.

As with the rest of the cottage, this room is impeccably and tastefully appointed with a limestone floor and travertine wall tiles. Conservatory:
Streaming with bright light (even on an overcast day), the heated Dining Conservatory is a great living space: by day it's an extra living and eating space where you'll sit to enjoy your breakfasts and lunches and access the patio garden and BBQ outside. By night, it can be transformed into an intimate dinning space with shimmering lighting.
First Floor

Bedroom One:
The oldest part of the cottage, the master double bedroom has a cosy yet luxurious feel, tucked under the beams and eaves. From the iron-frame king-size bedstead, you can enjoy private views through the traditional cottage windows. The cushioned window seat is a wonderful place to sit and while away some relaxation time.
The bedroom has a lovely full-length cheval mirror, a deep clothes closet, a hairdryer, and a digital flat-screen TV for bedtime viewing.

Bedroom Two:
A delightful room with two large, single beds, fluffy bed linen with bed throws, original beams, and a window overlooking a flat roof to the patio beyond. Ideal for children, this room would also suit two adults because of its L-shaped layout, providing individual privacy in a shared space.

Outside

The area to the rear of the cottage has been laid to patio and is reached either through the side gate and path or through the back door from the Dining Conservatory. In this clever us of space you'll find a lovely, ivy-walled sun trap. The main patio area is up two stone steps where there's a large ‘Outback' gas BBQ, a rattan-style patio table with four matching chairs to one side, and two rattan-style sofas with an all-weather coffee table on the other.

A large, low leather ottoman acts as a footstool, coffee table or as the perfect spot for playing the games and puzzles that are thoughtfully provided. This room is warm and cosy but also filled with light from the dual aspect windows to the front and rear. A smart TV stands on a polished console, and table lamps create a warm glow as night falls. Interesting objects d'art depicting life in rural Worcestershire cover the walls, including a piece of memorabilia from when Rose Cottage was featured in the TV series the Land Girls.

Dining Room:
The dining room is equally delightful and the wooden dining table seats six comfortably, proving a lovely space for convivial meals with your fellow guests. An electric wood-burning stove sits within another feature fireplace, this is for display only, and there's a window seat beneath the large, front-facing window, where you can sit with a coffee and watch village life. There are double doors out to the enclosed courtyard, a ground floor WC, a large storage cupboard where you can keep coats and boots and the backdoor.

First Floor

The steep stairs wind up from the rear hall to the first floor.

Bedroom One:
This lovely, spacious room is full of character and features a brass and iron-framed king-size bed, exposed wall beams and a view over the village square to the front. There are bedside tables with reading lamps and plenty of storage with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

Bedroom Two:
At the end of the hall, up two steps, you'll find the second king-size bedroom, which is a beautiful room decorated in calming shades of blue and cream overlooking the church to the rear. Cream bedside tables stand on either side of the bed with reading lamps, and there's a pretty dressing table with a large mirror. Prints depicting village life hang above the metal-framed bed whilst the rattan chaise-longue is perfect for lazy afternoons snoozes, or for curling up with a good book.

Bedroom Three:

As you arrive at the end of Main Street, the ancient properties of the Bretforton Estate lie ahead, with Corner Cottage, as the name suggests, situated exactly on the corner, opposite Bretforton House Farm. This ancient farmstead, along with Corner Cottage, has been owned by the same family for hundreds of years. The quaint design, exposed timbers and ancient stone walls give off the feel of a fairy-tale house, complete with an apple tree that bears lots of fruit for guests to enjoy.

This perfectly formed, timber-framed holiday cottage has been meticulously renovated to a very high standard and decorated throughout using subtle hues of white and greys with accents of colour, and beautiful lined curtains, to create a restful retreat. On the ground floor is a cosy living room and dining area, with a spectacular inglenook and original bread oven, and a contemporary kitchen and shower room. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one super spacious, delightfully quirky master room, with a king-size bed, and one compact bunk bedroom that's ideal for two young children or one adult.

This welcoming cottage is tucked into the corner of a small and peaceful courtyard of similar properties and is very much like stepping into a Tardis! To the rear, there's a delightful communal garden, surrounded by trees.

Whippet Cottage is an inviting and welcoming place to stay, the traditionally styled interior is warm and homely, and original beams can be seen throughout, lending character to the cottage. On the ground floor, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a comfortable living room and a fabulous sunroom with bi-fold doors leading out to the private, enclosed courtyard garden. There's also a ground-floor shower room. On the first floor, there are two cosy bedrooms with views over the rear to the gardens beyond, and a second bathroom.

Outside there is a large, private courtyard surrounded by a canopy of trees and the sound of birdsong. There's a dining table with seating for six, a charcoal barbecue and a secure shed, which is perfect for bicycle storage. This is a lovely spot for alfresco dining and sunset drinks on a warm summer evening.

Bretforton is famous for ''The Fleece Inn'' (awarded Daily Telegraph/Sawdays Pub of the Year 2019) a pub steeped in history, originally built in the early 15th century, and bequeathed to the National Trust in 1977. A vibrant part of the community and popular for good food and real ales, the pub attracts loyal locals and visitors from all over the world. Bretforton Community Shop is just a minute's walk from the cottage and a purveyor of local produce and local fayre.

Making the most of your visit - why not plan a day at Cheltenham Races (just 20 minutes away), enjoy an evening at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, visit one of the Shakespearian properties or wander around the ancient walls of Warwick Castle. This grand home is warm and welcoming, and its history adds something special to your stay. Conversations are accompanied by roaring open fires in the timber framed drawing room and lunches in the dining room are drenched in sunlight. There is so much space at Coppice House you don't need to worry about being on top of each other, and at the end of the day five bedrooms await. Two are on the ground floor which helps ensure all members of your group are comfortable.

From the garden you can really appreciate this black and white timber framed house. The mature grounds are a dream with lawns and flowering beds. Why not have a BBQ while the dogs and children let off steam? You will find some lovely secluded spots to lay a blanket and soak in the sun, listening to the horses in the neighbouring paddock. When you first step into Coppice House you will notice the warm colour of the wooden beams that you'll find throughout the house. Showing some of the history of this building, you'll start looking forward to what else you'll find. Take off your shoes, leave your bags and hang your coats up to start exploring.

In the handy ground floor cloakroom, just off the entrance hall, there is a snippet of exposed Cotswold stone wall.

Dining Room
With a glass roof and windows along one side, the dining room is accompanied by fantastic views across the garden. Setting the table for family meals (there's enough space for 10 guests to sit comfortably) it's a wonderful space flooded with light where you can all gather together.

Kitchen
You will love cooking here with the traditional range cooker, a central island and plenty of workspace available, you can really cook up a feast. Find everything you need from the fridge/freezer hidden away in a beautiful cabinet to a coffee machine. Though there is the convenience of a dishwasher, doing the washing up by hand is accompanied by lovely views of the garden.

Living Room
Nothing will make you feel more at ease than a cup of tea beside the fire making plans for where you'd like to visit tomorrow. The living room has a smart TV to keep you entertained as you relax for the evening.

Looking out over a quiet corner of the garden, tuck yourselves away in bedroom five's king-size bed and have an undisturbed morning lie in. Ideal for any guests with limited mobility this room has a sink and is right next door to the ground floor shower room.

Arguably the best bedroom in the house, the king-size master room wouldn't look out of place in a National Trust property. Showcasing a collection of antique furniture, wooden beams and elm flooring it is a wonderfully cosy room.

Spend time soaking in the freestanding clawfoot bath, taking a moment to yourself. There is also a separate shower.

Bedroom Three
This twin bedroom adds a splash of colour to the house with a characterful sofa and matching headboards. This room has a dressing table where you can set up a laptop if needed and there is plenty of storage space.

The final bedroom has a king-size bed and is perfect for any avid readers in the group. Shelves are stacked with your next favourite paperback so curl up and get lost in another world.

The high street is a 10 minute walk away with shops, pubs and restaurants, and the train station is at the bottom of the road for easy access to a day out in Oxford. A great base for exploring the local countryside. Despite the advertised ‘welcome pack’, only some tea and coffee is provided, so bring your own milk and biscuits! The kitchen is not particularly well equipped for cooking and would benefit from a couple of decent saucepans with lids and roasting tins. Bring your own dishwasher tablets!
