- "The apartment was very spacious and had all the required utensils etc for a comfortable stay, the apartment was clean and well appointed. The welcome pack was a nice touch and meant I did not have to go get milk when I arrived. The lounge was comfortable and the area was central but fairly quiet. All the provided linen and towels were clean and good quality, with basic toiletries provided (soap/shampoo). The negatives you have to pay a just in case deposit, this was shock and at the time of writing it has not yet been refunded despite me leaving the apartment nearly as clean as I found it. The balcony door did not lock on the lounge side and would not unlock on the bedroom side. (A slight security concern) The mattress was very odd, it was hard which is fine by me, but you could feel the springs. I stay away for work alot and this was one of the more uncomfortable I have experienced unfortunately. A decent mattress topper would solve the issue.(But this could be personal preference of course so please don't let that sway your opinion) Overall on balance I would likely stay again if the price per night was right."

Some rubber mats would help as when it rains, it's a pretty scary manoeuvre getting on and off the boat, and the ladder/step combo is not for the fainthearted!The novelty of staying on the houseboat was great, but for the money, I'd have at least expected a small welcome pack or at least a bottle of milk"

5. Smoking, parties, and excessive noise are not allowed (quiet time is between 8 PM and 8 AM), including on balconies and in shared spaces. These violations are subject to a fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages.
6. Commercial photography/videography without written consent, Illegal activity, prostitution, and possession of firearms is strictly prohibited.
7. Overnight guests that exceed the number stated in the reservation are not allowed. Unauthorized guests will be subject to fines.
8. Pets are not allowed. Violation of our pet policy may result in a fine. We encourage guests with service animals to contact us before their stay.
9. Guests are responsible for covering the cost to replace lost keys, key cards, fobs. Charges may also apply if the keys are not returned on time. Minimum charge £100.
10. If you would like to extend your booking, please contact us 48 hours prior to check out otherwise extra cleaning charges may apply.
11. For bookings longer than 14 days we charge a mid-stay clean. This is to make sure you have a clean, comfortable, and pleasant stay and to ensure that our apartments are well maintained.
This is the same cost as the standard cleaning fee that was charged when you initially booked the listing. Mid-stay cleans include fresh linen, towel change, and replenishment of complementary consumables such as toiletries, etc.
Safe and easy transaction as we will collect the mid-stay cleaning fee via Airbnb. If you require more cleans please let us know as this can also be arranged for you.
This also applies to reservation alterations.
Rescheduling your mid-stay clean is allowed 24hrs before the scheduled date. Last-minute reschedule/cancellation may be subject to charges.

You’ll be staying in the largest apartment in the building, featuring three bedrooms (1 of which is king size with en-suite, a 2nd kingsize room and 1 x double room) with feather duvets and feather pillows. There are two bathrooms in total. The living room overlooks a communal garden and Kidwells Park next door which has a children’s playground.
There is a TV in the living room with Netflix and two large sofas perfect for a big group to relax in the evening. If you'll be getting ready for an event, there are plenty of plug sockets, full length mirrors plus an iron, ironing board and a hair dryer in each bedroom. Uber operates in the area.
A high chair and travel cot are available to use.
There is a shared outdoor balcony on the front of the property, with lovely views as the sun rises (especially being on the top floor) - perfect for a morning cup of coffee.
Plenty of free parking nearby (within a two minute walk).
It's a lovely space to explore Berkshire or have a relaxing weekend away. Maidenhead is on the Elizabeth line, and being less than a mile from the station you’ll easily get into Central London.

A calming and delightful self contained annexe with its own private entrance and patio. Other great facilities include shared use of a lovely garden and 24 hour use of our gym and fitness room. An ideal place to stay to explore the surrounding area, or as a base if you’re working or studying.

The annexe is situated within the main house but is self contained with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The annexe has undergone a refurbishment in 2024 and includes a comfortable bedroom with built in wardrobe, a standard double bed and a wet room with shower, toilet, basin, mirror, electric shaving point and good lighting. Towels and linen included. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, containing a small table and chairs for use when dining or as a work station. You can also make use of our home gym, that is situated in our summerhouse, or relax on your own private patio or in our large garden, with a choice of outdoor seating areas.

The property has its own private access. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine and dryer situated between the annexe and main house, for your free use.
