This 2-storey unit is imaginatively designed in Moroccan style, with many curved motifs. The living and bathing areas are on the lower floor. There is an electric stove with ceramic hotplates, a microwave oven and full-size refrigerator. The shower is placed within a large bath. This bath is NOT to be used as a SPA, as it takes all the hot water. The toilet and washing machine are located in a corner. The unit is heated by a wood burning oven with glass door - the flue warms the bedroom above where there is a Q/S bed. On an outside patio there are a table and chairs plus bbq. From the bedroom sunbathing deck on the upper floor, dramatic views can be enjoyed over the lake. Covered car parking is located outside the unit at the top of a paved driveway; a boat trailer with a small or medium-sized boat can also be fitted in. Large boats can be parked in the court opposite the property entrance. A double foam mattress is available on the floor to accommodate a young child at an extra $5 per night - linen should be provided by the guests for this. Close to shops, cafes, pubs and supermarkets this 2 bedroom unit has 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living/dinning area with access to a small balcony and a quiet outdoor entertaining area. There is room enough for one car parking. Also located close to Mallacoota's main wharf and various walking tracks that navigate through our beautiful Croajingalong National Park.
The downstairs consists of a bedroom, that has one set of bunk beds with a double bed underneath, single bed on top and also another single bed. There is a bathroom and a laundry area with a washing machine, and a clothes line in the outdoor area at the rear of the property.
Upstairs, the Unit opens up into a large living area, with a kitchen that has a dishwasher. There is another bathroom with shower and bath and then the main bedroom, which has a large and comfy queen sized bed.

My wife and I had a relaxing 14 day stay. Appreciated the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. Met owners R & K, who were friendly, hospitable and shared their knowledge of the area. Panoramic views of the bottom lake were enjoyed from any position on the property. A mezzanine floor with amazing views, even as you raise your head off the pillow. Binoculars are a must, for detailed views of Gabo Island Lighthouse, Goodwin Sands and spotting where all the boats are fishing. Good parking off road for car and boat. Karbeethong boat ramp is a 5 minute drive, directly below the property. Town folk were friendly, boaties patient at the ramp, the sound of bellbirds all around the expansive lake while fishing from our boat, all so memorable. Mallacoota has timeless serenity and sounds of birdlife to relax, sip wine and cast a line.

I wanted you to know and hopefully pass onto R & K how much we loved and appreciated our stay at this marvelous property. Both my husband and I cannot speak too highly about the accommodation, the grounds, the friendship and of course the scenery. The interior is beautifully decorated, so peaceful and relaxing, wish we could have stayed much, much longer than our 7 days. Our relaxation was enhanced by the atmosphere created by K's’ exceptional artwork of local wildlife. Waking to the sunrise views and sleeping to sunset views was just an incredible experience. Best of all was the generosity and friendship of R & K. Wish we lived closer and could visit, stay more often.

Exclusive accommodation for the discerning guests. Two bedrooms, sleep six comfortably. All beds are made upon your arrival with quality linen and bath towels are supplied. This apartment is in the hub of town yet quiet and secluded. Enjoy the expansive alfresco dining on the rear deck. The king bed is comfortable and we slept well. There are two bathrooms and the tub in the main one is excellent. The apartment is very spacious and the TV is large. Seating is generous. Large balcony with comfortable table and chairs. The reason for the 3-star rating is a number of issues that the management company will likely address: - Main stove burner won't stay lit - Main entrance is a glass door in a glass wall right across from the hall bathroom. There are no coverings or drapes you can pull and the other apartment residents on the floor pass by to get to their car. (Needs drapes/blinds or make the landing area private.) - Host is responsive and pleasant but not as fast at responding as some. - No hooks to hang robes in bathroom - Dining options are limited (It's a small town so this is not unexpected.) Location is very good. Dedicated parking is behind the unit. The grocery store and several restaurants are literally a few doors away. Best coffee is Origami Coffee. Coastal walk is a 5 minute drive or less. We would visit again."

Very close to town center - you are literally 100m walk to shops, pubs, cafes and main wharf.
The Kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large living/dinning area with access to a small balcony on the upper level. Also located upstairs is the master bedroom with a comfortable queen sized bed, a bathroom and a separate toilet.
The lower level consists of a second bathroom with toilet, second bedroom with another comfortable queen bed, and then a laundry area that provides access to a small rear courtyard with bbq.
There is room enough for one car parking and then additional parking on the front nature strip.
Please note that this property does NOT include linen or towels and that you will be required to bring your own. The property is NOT pet friendly
Please be courteous of other guests and ensure that all rubbish is placed in bins prior to your departure, and that bins are placed out (Tuesday Night) for curb side collection on Wednesday Morning.

Unit is pet friendly - please be considerate of other guests and keep pets off furniture and bedding. Please note that parking for the unit is separate to the parking for the house. Be mindful of guests using the house during your stay. There is no fenced yard, if you are going to bring your pet along you will need to bring a lead.

If you need a modest little beach shack with a very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, good kitchen facilities, all in a quiet location then this is it. My apartment is in a scenic location.Its attached to our house but is completely private and secure.A 500m walk to the lake and to the 4.5km walking track which goes into town following the lake.The beach is a 15 minute drive away.Our national park is a 10 min walk away.
Note that Telstra phone reception works the best here, Optus and Vodaphone has limited reception.
The space
The apartment is wooden,with a high ceiling and it is on 2 levels.There are 4 rooms altogether,a bedroom,a dining and lounge area,a kitchenette and a bathroom which has some lovely features including a very deep bath .The bath needs to be stepped over to get to the shower.From the bathroom you will often see pelicans flying by.
The apartment is behind my home the views of the lake can be seen from some of the side windows .

The Polehouse is located on the outskirts, with abundant bird life and outstanding views. The 2-storey 1br unit is architect-designed in Moroccan style. The upper bedroom has a deck, with a covered patio below. GUESTS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN LINEN (Towels plus pillow slips and Q/S UPPER AND LOWER SHEETS - no doona contact with skin). If they can't, they can usually buy it cheaply at op shops along the way.

The 1br flat is fully self-contained. There is a 3 NIGHT minimum booking. LINEN (upper and lower sheets, towels) is NOT generally provided. However, if necessary, it can be obtained via a linen service at $10 per guest plus a $10 delivery fee. Doonas, extra blankets and pillows are provided. The tariff reduces by 10% for the 2nd and subsequent weeks. Single guests receive a 10% discount. Previous guests will notice a small price rise, mainly due to extensive upgrading of furniture and equipment.
Always welcome guests and am available at all times to answer queries about the flat (s) and the surrounding attractions. Often share a welcoming drink, especially with longer stay guests.. Piano-playing guests may use the piano in the main house.

The bush is a little charred but the birds are all back, as is our resident koala.

The quirky bathroom sits in the middle of the room & features an amazing spa shower. The only catch, the walls don’t go all the way to ceiling so may not be for everyone!
The space
The apartment is in a beautiful bushland setting with plenty of space for boat and car parking. Lovely outdoor entertaining area with BBQ and outdoor fire pit.
The property has two dwellings. A three bedroom house (Goora) and the studio apartment. There is a caretaker ‘Phil’ who lives on site. He takes care of checkin and has an enormous amount of local knowledge. Oh, and he’s my dad so I know he’s a good guy :)

Rose cottage has its own patio / deck which is separate & private to the larger house (Goora). However, the back yard / fire pit and drive way is shared.
Other things to note
Thankfully our home was only minimally impacted by the 2020 bushfires. We only lost a fence and a boat. We are so grateful to the amazing fire fighters who saved our property. They even saved all of our beautiful trees and garden
and the birds have already returned. So once
the roads open again in late Jan / mid Feb 2020 we are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to our beautiful little oasis.
Well trained pets are welcome, however please note the property has fencing but it is not fully enclosed. We also request that you don’t leave your pet alone for any period of time and you clean up after them daily.
The studio at Raheen is private, well appointed and detached from the historic cottage on the property. It has a separate bathroom and laundry area, a well equipped kitchenette, dining space and a comfortable sitting area. It features new furniture, a queen bed and provides great views of the lower lake. Wifi has been upgraded and speeds are good. In front there is a deck with a BBQ and outdoor furniture. A boardwalk leading to town is close by. There is ample parking and space for boats.
The space
The studio at Raheen provides something unique to Mallacoota. It is next to and detached from the historic "Raheen House" which was built by the notable E J Brady and his son from timbers salvaged from the wreck of the Riverina. The studio is 1.4 km from the Mallacoota Post Office and 200m from the bottom lake.
Guest access
The studio is self contained and has a small deck with a BBQ. The deck is a great place to sit, admire the views and soak up the sun. There is ample parking on the property.

The Studio is ideal for couples looking to explore the natural world of Mallacoota. It provides access to outstanding walks, fishing and bird watching.
