Premium, cozy king sized bed and bedding and a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and TVs in both the main room and the bedroom as well as a comfortable shower/tub make it easy to sit back and relax. Or, if you need to get some work done, we have a nice workspace with fast wifi and chargers for your needs. There is a full sized sleeper sofa that can easily be pulled out for any other guest you may have. Pets are $10 - $20 per night depending on breed shed score (all pets shed and we will let you know what we determine) and this is in addition to what VRBO charges to add a pet to your reservation. I especially like how it was decorated to the "Prickly Pear" theme, with all the southwestern colors, artwork, and plants!The Prickly Pear Hideout is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, but it is not really walking distance from any shops, restaurants, or points of interest. I did not bring a car, so I relied mostly on rideshare services, but I think having a rental car would have been a good idea. There is more than enough street parking available. The walkway down the side of the house was well-lit at night, and I never heard any noise from the residents of the main house.The owner had excellent communication and messaged me once during my stay to check-in and see if I needed anything (I didn't).I would happily return to stay at this location again, but I would probably bring a rental car next time!"

A single story, single family home is essentially spilt into two separate "residences". It is NOT a completely separate set up. 2. You must enter through the garage...after meeting with the homeowner to receive the garage door opener...there is no alternative, like an electronic lock...it created a little problem for me since I was arriving somewhat late at night. 3. THE AC IS SHARED...USING A SINGLE THERMOSTAT FOR BOTH "RESIDENCES"!!! I run "hot"...and when I'm on vacation, the first thing I do is set the thermostat to 68!!! That won't work here...the owner prefers the property at 74...and she's the boss...she was "freezing" when i adjusted the thermostat. She will override your temp...and if you run hot like me...you will be miserable! My room was 75 for 3 nights! 4. The bed is like a sponge! If you like a REALLY soft, spongy bed...have at it. I prefer a medium to firm bed...and this bed is NOT that...you literally sink into it. 5. BEDROOM 1

This Studio Apartment is in a quiet neighborhood in East Mesa next to Taft Elementary School. The home recently had many upgrades. It is welcoming, a "Home away from Home". You will be right around the corner from Usery Park for hiking, biking, and equestrian trails. Saguaro and Canyon lakes are 25 min from the home for great boating or fishing. The Salt River is a 15 min for some beautiful scenery and wild life including the Salt River Horses. You will enjoy quick and easy access to the 202.
