Also included for convenience are spices, cooking oil, coffee/tea and coffee supplies, paper products, cleaning supplies and trash bags. The oak cabinets are fully stocked with all the cookware you need to create a great meal if you feel like dining in. The quaint dining table seats 2 and has room to set for a full meal.

You'll enjoy the split floor plan of this private basement apartment. The two bedrooms are separated by an open concept kitchen, dining and living area. Both bedrooms have a private bath and lots of room for extra seating to read or relax. One bedroom has a television. There is a full size, fully furnished kitchen with lots of counter space to create your special culinary creations. The dining area includes a large table to comfortably seat 8. There is cozy seating in the living area to enjoy the 55" HD television. The covered back patio provides more space to spread out around the fire pit or patio table and grill your meal on the large five burner grill. We welcome you as our guest and will do our best to make it a pleasant stay. It is just my wife and I, both semi-retired, that live upstairs so you may occasionally hear the faint sounds of life over-head. We have provided a white noise machine in the "King" bedroom that may help if you're a light sleeper.

This newly remodeled unit has over 900 square feet of generous living space and is ideally located on a quiet tree lined street just two blocks from the Prescott Courthouse Square. In less than five minutes, you can walk to the center of Prescott’s arts and entertainment district where you can enjoy the events at the Square, Whiskey Row, and a large selection of restaurants, art galleries and shopping. If you like antiques, spend some time along Cortez Street at the numerous antique shops. If you are a mountain bike enthusiast, the Whiskey Off-Road Fat Tire Criterium held the last weekend in April goes right by the front door!

The Prescott Carriage House has gone through many changes since the late 1800’s. By the early 1920's, the Prescott City Directories confirm that Prescott Carriage House had been converted into three separate residential units. Those Directories and Census records reveal a diverse group of Prescott Carriage House residents including a U. S. Marshall, a J. C. Penney salesman, a silver mine engineer and an attorney, among others. More recently, after extensive renovation and furnishing our first unit #302 Union Street, a part of the Prescott Carriage House has become available as a vacation rental. Our other vacation rental is Prescott Carriage House #113 Alarcon Street.

The Prescott Carriage House on Union, has a cozy bedroom (new queen bed) which is furnished for comfort with quality linens. There is a sitting room off the bedroom for early morning coffee or afternoon tea. There is also a good size bath with a shower. The living room is well appointed with comfortable furniture that gives it a cozy feel. You will also find a brand-new sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. (The house sleeps a maximum of 4). With its warm and homey feel, you will be encouraged to kick back, relax and make yourself at home.

Ready to take a break from sight-seeing? The house boasts a flat-screen Smart TV and HD cable. If you want to stream videos, listen to Pandora, play on-line games, or use your Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon accounts, our unlimited free Wi-Fi allows you to use the Internet just as you would at home.

Our suite is an approximately 600 square foot, one bedroom apartment with a private balcony overlooking Prescott National Forest. It is a private space with a separate entrance. There is a flight of stairs with a sturdy handrail up to this suite, with a safety gate at the top of the stairs. Although the host lives in the remainder of the home, the design assures locked privacy for both host and guest and they will not come in contact with one another unless the guest wants contact for some specific reason.

The kitchen is equipped with a good-sized microwave/convection oven, as well as a refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker with non-coffee options, blender, toaster, electric hot water kettle, two-top hot plate that serves as a small stove, garbage disposal, and all the essentials for cooking including spices, sugar, and oil. There is a water purification system throughout the entire home, so there is no need to use bottled water while here.

The living room includes a large screen smart Roku TV with access to Sling, Netflix, YouTube etc. and a firm pull-out queen size bed in the comfortable sofa. The lamp has a USB charging port on the base for phone and laptop charging (as does the bedroom lamp).

There is central air conditioning and heating throughout, although a small heater can be left on at the base of the entry stairs where it tends to be chilly. Another decorative heater is in front of the fireplace mantle that also puts out heat and has a nice fireplace effect.

The luxurious bathroom includes a very deep soaking tub and two sinks. All the countertops in the suite are marble and the unit is new as of 2024 and clean. There is a Solatube in the bathroom that provides plenty of natural light during the day.

The bedroom is not huge but is equipped with a queen size bed, extra linens, pillows, and blankets, and a washer and dryer next to a closet in the room. There is a short dormer walkway to a window for egress in an emergency.

There is a double locked door that separates the Host's living space in two places from the Guest's, and the suite does not face the Host's space on any side.

Personal Note: As the Host, I want everything to be just as you would like it to be. If you have questions you can contact me at any time, but I won't disturb your privacy otherwise. Please do let me know if you need anything at all and I will do my best to provide it for you.

The entire apartment suite with separate entrance, approximately 600 sq.ft. is for guest use and is completely private.

There is a detailed physical manual in the suite with many suggestions for Prescott activities, restaurants, and attractions. Please take a look when you arrive.

Prescott is known as "Everybody's Hometown", as well as "Arizona's Christmas City". Every season of the year has its charms and special activities here in our Mile High City. Our events begin with the Whiskey Row New Year's Eve "Boot Drop" and move on into the year with the many Arts and Crafts shows and summer concerts on "The Square" (Prescott Courthouse Square). Prescott's Frontier Days in July include "The World's Oldest Rodeo" and in October the streets are filled with goblins trick-or-treating the historic downtown neighborhoods, particularly on Mt. Vernon Street. The year comes to an end with the annual Christmas parade, Courthouse lighting, and Acker Night (music and cookies hosted by many businesses on and around
"The Square"). Prescott has something for everyone to enjoy. Try some of our favorite restaurants or browse the shops on the square, rent a kayak and paddle around Goldwater Lake just a couple of miles from the chalet. Or just stay in and relax in this getaway from the world. Wi-Fi and cable TV provided.

The Gage/Murphy Mansion is a crown jewel from the early days of Prescott and located just 2 blocks away from Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row. Originally constructed in 1895 as the family home of business tycoon E.B. Gage, and later railroad tycoon Frank M. Murphy, this restored monument of local history has been just steps away from the heart of Prescott for over 125 years.

The space:

The entire home is 7274 sq ft with a total of 10 units spread out amongst 3 floors and a basement, each unique to one another in size, layout, and design – come back and stay at them all for a different experience each time! You will not find another gem like this in all of Prescott.

Unit 5 - “The Symphony Room” is upstairs on the 2nd level and is approx. 350 sq ft with 1 bed/1 bath. This cozy space has 1 mid-size bedroom with a full-size bed, writing desk, and a 39” TV, a bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a full kitchen for your use and enjoyment.

Guest access:

The building itself has two main entrances. One is through the front door of the home which can be accessed from the front porch on the north side of the house that faces Gurley St. The other is located through the Mansion’s side door on the West side of the building, which you can see from S Alarcon St. The side door is closer to the parking, but the main entrance is a bit more “grand” – feel free to use either.

Unit 5 can be accessed through either main entrance. Once you’ve entered the building, walk up the stairs to the 2nd level, and the door to “The Symphony Room” is in the middle of the hallway.

Other things to note:

As much of it is original please expect some creaking floors and other noises and sights that come with a home that’s well over 100 years old. We think it adds to the appeal! But not everyone may think the same way so, just a heads up 😊.

Parking is first come first serve and is limited to 1 vehicle per unit. There is an upper level parking lot accessed via the private road immediately to the south of the building, and a smaller lower level parking lot on the same level as the building. Street parking is also available.

The location is amazing - just 2 short blocks from the square! However, like any other hotels or stays that are near a city center there may be some noise (mostly passing traffic) to deal with. The south side and lower floor rooms (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 2B) are quieter. And the ones closest to Gurley St (4, 7, 1B) are slightly noisier. Some guests notice it, others don’t, but we thought it deserved at least a mention to consider when booking.

All rooms have at least 1 portable A/C unit for those summer months when it can get a little warm. The larger units have 2 in them. There are fans in each room as well. For the winter months there is a boiler system that generates heat for the house and all rooms.

All TV’s are subscribed to Hulu Live TV which includes 75+ channels and all Hulu content. Other streaming apps are installed but depending on the service you may need to login to them using your own account info to access content. Please log out of them before leaving to prevent the use of your account by others.

All guests have access to the common areas of the home as well as the outside common areas. While you are free to explore the inside of the Mansion please be considerate of other guests that may be staying and do your best not to disturb them, including keeping noise down to a reasonable level.

There is a shared laundry room on the south side of the building. Laundry supplies are not provided but there are 2 washers and 2 dryers available for use if you provide your own.

A commercial water softener is connected to the house. Its still not advisable to drink directly from the faucet but the showers and linens should feel nice! Enjoy!

There is a field with pathways, a bridge to cross and camp site for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. My property is Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. There is a challenging putting green with the equipment. The little bunkhouse has 1 queen bed with a small kitchen and bath. This is the place for a quiet getaway for relaxation and only 8 minutes to the heart of Prescott. Plenty of hiking right accross Williamson Valley Road and several small lakes for kayaking or picnicing just minutes from my quiet oasis.

We do host another unit at the other end of the building, a 3 bedroom home, but both units are completely independent of each other. Guests only share the same spacious driveway. Access to the apartment is through the front door using a key code pad, changed after each guest. The patio is not a common area, just the driveway. Everything is yours for the duration of your stay, including the bike rack!

This is the second Airbnb unit we’ve created on this property. It has been a fixer-upper which has been a lot of fun, very rewarding! The back of the property is still under construction, currently being used as our depot. However, we have altered the driveway to ensure that you are not inconvenienced by this, in any way. Guests may see my husband coming and going from the depot at times, but it just means he’s more available for your convenience.

I would recommend this place if you need a night or two in Prescott. I will be staying again if I’m ever back in town. It ranks highest on my lift of non hotel stays! Wow, I didn’t use the washer and dryer or the grill. It was nice to see that it was available. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed if you stay here! Check-in was a breeze. Although we were in the back of our house home, we were not disturbed even once and didn’t need to interact with them in order to check in. This thing here because I know privacy is important too many people. I usually would avoid staying somewhere if I thought that I would be in someone’s backyard. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I was Thank you Violet and family for this wonderful place to stay!"

Fawn Chalet is a private second story one bedroom suite in the pines of Prescott, just 8 minutes from downtown. This sparkling clean unit is complete with a kitchen and all the essentials at your fingertips, a washer and dryer in the suite, and a luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub/shower. Enjoy miles of pine top views from the private balcony or hike/bike the trails just around the corner from this comfortable and elegant secluded mountain retreat. Host lives in attached home.

The space
Fawn Chalet is an approximately 600 square foot, one bedroom suite with a private balcony overlooking Prescott National Forest. It is a private space with a separate entrance. There is a flight of stairs with a sturdy handrail up to this suite, with a safety gate at the top of the stairs. Although the host lives in the remainder of the home, the design assures locked privacy for both host and guest and they will not come in contact with one another unless the guest wants contact for some specific reason.

The kitchen is equipped with a good-sized microwave/convection oven, as well as a refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker with non-coffee options, blender, toaster, electric hot water kettle, two-top hot plate that serves as a small stove, garbage disposal, and all the essentials for cooking including spices, sugar, and oil. There is a water purification system throughout the entire home, so there is no need to use bottled water while here.

The living room includes a large screen smart Roku TV with access to Sling, Netflix, YouTube etc. and a firm pull-out queen size bed in the comfortable sofa. The lamp has a USB charging port on the base for phone and laptop charging (as does the bedroom lamp).

There is central air conditioning and heating throughout, although a small heater can be left on at the base of the entry stairs where it tends to be chilly. Another decorative heater is in front of the fireplace mantle that also puts out heat and has a nice fireplace effect.

The luxurious bathroom includes a very deep soaking tub and two sinks. All the countertops in the suite are marble and the unit is new as of 2024 and clean. There is a Solatube in the bathroom that provides plenty of natural light during the day.

The bedroom is not huge but is equipped with a queen size bed, extra linens, pillows, and blankets, and a washer and dryer next to a closet in the room. There is a short dormer walkway to a window for egress in an emergency.

There is a double locked door that separates the Host's living space in two places from the Guest's, and the suite does not face the Host's space on any side.

Personal Note: As the Host, I want everything to be just as you would like it to be. If you have questions you can contact me at any time, but I won't disturb your privacy otherwise. Please do let me know if you need anything at all and I will do my best to provide it for you.

Fawn Chalet is best suited for up to two adults. It is not particularly suitable for children, so please inquire about any children you may want to bring before reserving our place. Thanks!

Prescott is known as "Everybody's Hometown", as well as "Arizona's Christmas City". Every season of the year has its charms and special activities here in our Mile High City. Our events begin with the Whiskey Row New Year's Eve "Boot Drop" and move on into the year with the many Arts and Crafts shows and summer concerts on "The Square" (Prescott Courthouse Square). Prescott's Frontier Days in July include "The World's Oldest Rodeo" and in October the streets are filled with goblins trick-or-treating the historic downtown neighborhoods, particularly on Mt. Vernon Street. The year comes to an end with the annual Christmas parade, Courthouse lighting, and Acker Night (music and cookies hosted by many businesses on and around
"The Square"). Prescott has something for everyone to enjoy. Try some of our favorite restaurants or browse the shops on the square, rent a kayak and paddle around Goldwater Lake just a couple of miles from the chalet. NAN’S INN is a hidden gem located in the heart of Prescott. It is near the Courthouse plaza with shopping, good food, musical events & art shows on the square and famous whiskey row. Close by are the beautiful Granite Dells, Granite Mountain & Thumb Butte with their hiking trails, museums, Watson, Lynx and Willow lakes and the colleges (Prescott, Yavapai & Embry Riddle). There are many things to explore in Prescott and Nan’s Inn is a perfect spot to relax & unwind at the end of a busy day!

The space
The entire downstairs flat is yours to call home while you are there.

Nan’s Inn is a tastefully decorated downstairs flat in a duplex that is located behind a small house. It has an electronic keyless lock so that guests will be able to come and go independently with a code that will be provided.

The upstairs apartment is another Airbnb, called Ana’s Retreat. When it is occupied, they are other Airbnb guests who are also visiting Prescott. Please be mindful of noise considerations for your neighbors. Also be aware that some foot traffic from upstairs can be heard.

Parking for Nan’s Inn is straight in the driveway, along the side of the duplex. The parking space directly in front of the duplex, close to the stairs, is designated for the other Airbnb.

The outside garden patio, goldfish pond, barbecue, patio furniture is a common area that can be enjoyed by guests from both Airbnb apartments.

The Bird's nest has a unique spiral staircase with decks on the front and back. Front room has a twin bed and a trundle bed. The living room and kitchen bar area is very open and full of light. The living room has a 55" flatscreen with a large sectional sofa. All new appliances, dishwasher, with every kitchen need you might have. Bathroom has full shower/tub and lots of storage area. Bedroom has queen bed and lots of dresser storage area. 32" flatscreen TV. A beautiful walk out 2 story deck.

The grounds around the loft over looks a 3 season stream and your own covered bridge to explore but watch out for the troll. If the season permits we have a nice bbq pit and bonfire area.
We are close to all the major stores and within 10 mins. of downtown.

The Frémont Room: Bright and airy, newly renovated centrally-located, one bedroom/one bathroom apartment named after John C. Frémont, Arizona's fifth territorial Governor from 1878 to 1881. Located right off of Willis Street in Downtown Prescott, just a few minutes’ walk from coffee shops, Whiskey Row, restaurants and the historic Courthouse Square. This apartment is located in a newly renovated 1905 historic building that lies in the heart of downtown Prescott. The apartment is about 670 square feet in total and you will see the hints of history throughout, including some of the original doors and window frames.

A highly desirable location to enjoy Prescott’s special events and festivities, including the annual 4th of July Parade, Christmas Parade and Rodeo Parade right on Willis street.

The bedroom features a comfy queen size bed and a desk workspace that includes a usb charging port. For your convenience, there is an air purifier and a white noise machine.

The O'Neill Room is a second-story apartment located in a newly renovated 1905 historic building that lies in the heart of downtown Prescott. The apartment is 425 square feet in total and you will see the hints of history throughout, including some of the original doors and window frames.

A highly desirable location to enjoy Prescott’s special events and festivities, including the annual 4th of July Parade, Christmas Parade and Rodeo Parade right on Willis street.

The bedroom is a small space but features a comfy full size bed, luggage rack and a small rod for hanging up clothes. For your convenience, there is a white noise machine and usb charging port available. The door to the bedroom/bathroom provides privacy from the rest of the apartment.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink with extra amenities for your convenience including shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, bar soap and q-tips. NOTE: there is no door separating the bedroom to the bathroom, only a curtain for privacy.

The main living space has a reading chair nestled on one side, a large smart tv and a futon that folds into a bed. There is also a desk workspace and a table with stool for two. There are large windows that look out onto Willis Street when drawn back but also provide full privacy when closed.

The fully equipped kitchen is ready for cooking! It features a gas stove and oven, double bowl sink, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and quartz countertops. The coffee cart has a keurig coffee machine, tea kettle (on the stove), tea bags, k cups, hot cocoa, sweeteners, creamers and mugs.

There are also two other airbnb listings in the same apartment building if you are looking to book a space that can accommodate more guests (subject to availability). The Gage/Murphy Mansion is a crown jewel from the early days of Prescott and located just 2 blocks away from Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row. Originally constructed in 1895 as the family home of business tycoon E.B. Gage, and later railroad tycoon Frank M. Murphy, this restored monument of local history has been just steps away from the heart of Prescott for over 125 years.

The space
The entire home is 7274 sq ft with a total of 10 units spread out amongst 3 floors and a basement, each unique to one another in size, layout, and design – come back and stay at them all for a different experience each time! You will not find another gem like this in all of Prescott.

Unit 2 - “The Grand Suite” is on the main floor (1st level) and is approx. 750 sq ft with 2 beds/1 bath. The space has 1 large bedroom with a king size bed and a 32” TV, a living room with a 32” TV, a dining room, bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a full kitchen for your use and enjoyment. The living room has a pull-out queen size sofa bed for another sleeping space. You can catch some of the best views of the Mansion’s mural from various spots in this unit.

Guest access
The building itself has two main entrances. One is through the front door of the home which can be accessed from the front porch on the north side of the house that faces Gurley St. The other is located through the Mansion’s side door on the West side of the building, which you can see from S Alarcon St.

Unit 2 has two private entrances. The main entrance can be accessed through the front door of the home towards the back of the lobby. The back entrance is through the Mansion’s laundry room, on the south side of the building. The laundry room door is closer to the parking, but the main entrance is a bit more “grand” – feel free to use either.

Other things to note
Please respect and take care of the home during your stay. Much of it is original and cannot be replaced.

As much of it is original please expect some creaking floors and other noises and sights that come with a home that’s well over 100 years old. We think it adds to the appeal! But not everyone may think the same way so, just a heads up :).

Parking is first come first serve and is limited to 1 vehicle per unit. There is an upper level parking lot accessed via the private road immediately to the south of the building, and a smaller lower level parking lot on the same level as the building. Street parking is also available.

The location is amazing - just 2 short blocks from the square! However, like any other hotels or stays that are near a city center there may be some noise (mostly passing traffic) to deal with. The south side and lower floor rooms (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 2B) are quieter. And the ones closest to Gurley St (4, 7, 1B) are slightly noisier. Some guests notice it, others don’t, but we thought it deserved at least a mention to consider when booking.

All rooms have at least 1 portable A/C unit for those summer months when it can get a little warm. The larger units have 2 in them. There are fans in each room as well. For the winter months there is a boiler system that generates heat for the house and all rooms.

All TV’s are subscribed to Hulu Live TV which includes 75+ channels and all Hulu content. Other streaming apps are installed but depending on the service you may need to login to them using your own account info to access content. Please log out of them before leaving to prevent the use of your account by others.

All guests have access to the common areas of the home as well as the outside common areas. While you are free to explore the inside of the Mansion please be considerate of other guests that may be staying and do your best not to disturb them, including keeping noise down to a reasonable level.

There is a shared laundry room on the south side of the building. Laundry supplies are not provided but there are 2 washers and 2 dryers available for use if you provide your own.

A commercial water softener is connected to the house. Its still not advisable to drink directly from the faucet but the showers and linens should feel nice! Enjoy!

We fully disclose all information about the space and ask that you are responsible to book only if the detached bathroom suits your needs*** The Sharlot Room is a second-floor apartment located in a newly renovated 1905 historic building that lies in the heart of downtown Prescott. The apartment is 435 square feet in total which includes the main apartment and the detached bathroom (one of the quirky aspects about the layout of this particular apartment!). You will see the hints of history throughout the apartment, including some of the original doors and window frames.

A highly desirable location to enjoy Prescott’s special events and festivities, including the annual 4th of July Parade, Christmas Parade and Rodeo Parade right on Willis street.

The bedroom space features a comfy queen size bed, luggage rack, small rod for hanging up clothes and dresser. For your convenience, there is a white noise machine and usb charging port available. The bedroom is the first room you walk into when you walk through the front door. There is also a door that can be locked separating the bedroom from the main living space.

The detached bathroom (gotta love the quirky layout of a hundred year old building!) has a shower, toilet and sink with extra amenities for your convenience including shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, bar soap and q-tips. IMPORTANT NOTE: the bathroom is detached from the bedroom/main living space in the apartment (please reference the photo that shows the bathroom entrance and front door). This bathroom is NOT shared with other guests. The detached bathroom has a keyless entry and is private only to this unit. It is not a community bathroom and it is not shared with any other guests.

The main living space has a reading chair nestled on one side, a large smart tv and a futon that folds into a bed. There is also a desk workspace and a table with chairs for two. There are large windows that look out onto Willis Street when drawn back but also provide full privacy when closed.

The small but fully equipped kitchen is ready for cooking! It features a gas stove and oven, deep sink, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and quartz countertops. The coffee bar has a keurig coffee machine, tea kettle (on the stove), tea bags, k cups, hot cocoa, sweeteners, creamers and mugs.

There are also two other airbnb listings in the same apartment building if you are looking to book a space that can accommodate more guests (subject to availability). The entire home is 7274 sq ft with a total of 10 units spread out amongst 3 floors and a basement, each unique to one another in size, layout, and design – come back and stay at them all for a different experience each time! You will not find another gem like this in all of Prescott.

Unit 5 - “The Symphony Room” is upstairs on the 2nd level and is approx. 350 sq ft with 1 bed/1 bath. This cozy space has 1 mid-size bedroom with a full-size bed, writing desk, and a 39” TV, a bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a full kitchen for your use and enjoyment.

The building itself has two main entrances. One is through the front door of the home which can be accessed from the front porch on the north side of the house that faces Gurley St. The other is located through the Mansion’s side door on the West side of the building, which you can see from S Alarcon St. The side door is closer to the parking, but the main entrance is a bit more “grand” – feel free to use either.

Unit 5 can be accessed through either main entrance. Once you’ve entered the building, walk up the stairs to the 2nd level, and the door to “The Symphony Room” is in the middle of the hallway.

**Heads-up: The City of Prescott has posted a planned road project on the home’s street from August to October 2025.

Please respect and take care of the home during your stay. Much of it is original and cannot be replaced.

As much of it is original please expect some creaking floors and other noises and sights that come with a home that’s well over 100 years old. We think it adds to the appeal! But not everyone may think the same way so, just a heads up :).

Parking is first come first serve and is limited to 1 vehicle per unit. There is an upper level parking lot accessed via the private road immediately to the south of the building, and a smaller lower level parking lot on the same level as the building. Street parking is also available.

The location is amazing - just 2 short blocks from the square! However, like any other hotels or stays that are near a city center there may be some noise (mostly passing traffic) to deal with. The south side and lower floor rooms (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 2B) are quieter. And the ones closest to Gurley St (4, 7, 1B) are slightly noisier. Some guests notice it, others don’t, but we thought it deserved at least a mention to consider when booking.

All rooms have at least 1 portable A/C unit for those summer months when it can get a little warm. The larger units have 2 in them. There are fans in each room as well. For the winter months there is a boiler system that generates heat for the house and all rooms.

All TV’s are subscribed to Hulu Live TV which includes 75+ channels and all Hulu content. Other streaming apps are installed but depending on the service you may need to login to them using your own account info to access content. Please log out of them before leaving to prevent the use of your account by others.

All guests have access to the common areas of the home as well as the outside common areas. While you are free to explore the inside of the Mansion please be considerate of other guests that may be staying and do your best not to disturb them, including keeping noise down to a reasonable level.

There is a shared laundry room on the south side of the building. Laundry supplies are not provided but there are 2 washers and 2 dryers available for use if you provide your own.

A commercial water softener is connected to the house. Its still not advisable to drink directly from the faucet but the showers and linens should feel nice! Enjoy!

The Gage/Murphy Mansion is a crown jewel from the early days of Prescott and located just 2 blocks away from Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row. Originally constructed in 1895 as the family home of business tycoon E.B. Gage, and later railroad tycoon Frank M. Murphy, this restored monument of local history has been just steps away from the heart of Prescott for over 125 years.

The space

This is the only unit that does not have a full kitchen but it does have a mini fridge and microwave for your use and enjoyment.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway just 20 minutes from the Courthouse Square and surrounded by the Prescott National Forest. Amazing views of the forest, mountains, and City of Prescott in the distance.

The space
The Hideaway has three rooms - the living room is spacious and has a gas fireplace and TV/dvd player for your enjoyment. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, toaster oven and cooktop. The bedroom is large and relaxing with an armoire for your belongings. Both the living room and bedroom have access to the back patio and the amazing views.

Guest access
Guests can access the Hideaway from the parking spot in the front of the house, by walking around the side of the house to the door at the back patio.

Other things to note
The Hideaway is located in Highland Pines where the elevation is nearly 6500 feet and the summer temperatures are around 20 degrees cooler than the Phoenix desert. Highland Pines is adjacent to miles and miles of hiking trails. There are several lakes in the area for kayaking.

The hideaway is on the lower level of our home, so you may occasionally hear footsteps, with the exception of the bedroom which is not affected by noise from above.
