The Space:
Access will include two separate beds - 1 queen bed and 1 king - two bathrooms, a full kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and smart TV. Due to our remoteness, our night skies offer world-class stargazing. This location is superb for getting the most out of your Grand Canyon experience, being right in the middle of the action of the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, and the Sky Walk.
Guest Access:
2-car parking area. Please come and go as you wish. The front door is a smart lock and needs a 4-digit code to get in, guests will receive code once they book the room. There is also a gazebo and BBQ grills that guests have access to.

We take your comfort very seriously, so let us know if there are any issues. We have people who live on site or close to it, to help the guest in any way. We do not interact with guests, we leave you to come and go as you please and give you the privacy you want.
The Neighborhood:
You will be close to all the action, but in an incredibly relaxing and private escape. We also recommend checking out other nearby attractions, including: Grand Canyon Rentals Adventures, our other Grand Canyon business renting ATVs, or Bearizona in Williams.
The area you are in is 1 mile down a gravel road in a rural area. There are other houses and campers in the area, as well as streetlights and security cameras.

During winter months, it does snow, but most of the time the road is still drivable, even in cars. However, with it being so isolated, star gazing is highly recommended while you stay with us. There is a gas station 5 miles from the location that sells small amounts of produce and snacks. We suggest bringing food with you because there aren’t many options nearby besides the gas station and small restaurant 5 miles away from the property. We have charcoal BBQ pits, gazebos, and picnic tables around the property for guests to use. If there are any problems with the room, please message me through the booking platform, as it’s the fastest way to receive a response. - "The host was welcoming and able to accommodate to our late arrival. The property is close to the train station, so it makes for easy travel. I had a 1 year old in my party, and the place was pretty child proof, so it made relaxing even easier." - "Super friendly host and check-in process. The house was perfect for me and my 3 children. It was actually quite baby proof for my 1 year old, so made for a stress free stay. We unfortunately weren’t prepared for the cold and wet weather, so had to cut our trip short. The location of the property is 5minutes or less to the train depot so it was a perfect commute to do our Williams activity for this stay. My only regret is DoorDash was only contracted with Pizza Hut. Once we got to the property the weather forced us to be home bound, so we missed out in some really nice eateries. Next time we will for sure we will have proper clothing and gear."

- "I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. For myself, I really appreciated how warm the room was sewing that we arrived during an April blizzard. I would definitely stay here again and would absolutely recommend!" - "Nice little inn, but no AC and a lot of traffic in area. " - "The location was great. Beautiful Views. Literally minutes from downtown Williams. Parking was tight when the lot was full. We arrived after dark and the lighting was dim and the signage was hidden with the cars in a full parking lot which made it difficult to know where to go...there is no access to a kitchen nor an in room refrigerator nor an in room microwave which was disappointing. We had to go buy a cooler and ice from the local dollar general and had no way to heat up our leftovers after dining downtown. The VRBO posting also listed access to a laundry as an amenity, however laundry was not available on premises. There IS a claw foot tub but the old- time circular shower rod to said tub is very precarious and secured to the wall by a 3ft length of thick fishing wire and a screw. There was a carbon monoxide detector on the wall but no thermostat. We had to sleep with the ceiling fan on. Thank goodness it wasn't too hot outside or we definitely would have been uncomfortable. Also, the property has an unusually late check in time of 4pm and an unusually EARLY check-out time of 10am. Most hotels and AirBnB's are check in at 3 and out at 11. When I msgd the host before checkin to pre-approved a later check out, I was denied. Again, that was a bummer. I'm on vacation. I would like to be able to have a slow morning prior to leaving. Other than that tho, the room was okay. It was clean. The best thing about it was the location and the views. "

Let the worries of the world slip away while you prepare for your Grand Canyon adventure.
The Space:
Access will include two separate queen beds, two bathrooms, a full kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and smart TV. Due to our remoteness, our night skies offer world-class stargazing. This location is superb for getting the most out of your Grand Canyon experience, being right in the middle of the action of the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, and the Sky Walk.
Guest Access:
2 car parking area. Please come and go as you wish. The front door is a smart lock and need a 4-digit code to get in, guest will receive code once they book the room. There is also a gazebo and BBQ grills that guests have access to.
Guest interaction
We take your comfort very seriously, so let us know if there are any issues. We have people who live on site or close to it, to help the guest in any way.
The Neighborhood:
You will be close to all the action, but in an incredibly relaxing and private escape. Just a 20-minute drive from the Grand Canyon National Park means you can arrive in time to see the sunrise or sunset.
Getting Around:
There is an airport and a park shuttle service in Tusayan, AZ, 20 miles away. Uber and Lyft are offered inside Grand Canyon National Park.
Other Things to Note:
The location is in between the city of Williams, AZ, and the Grand Canyon South Rim. Although we use Williams’ zip code and city name in our address, our location is not inside the city of Williams, but it is 30 miles away from it. Please check the address with your GPS before driving to the location. From Highway 64 you will turn down a DIRT road called East Woodland Ranch Road. During winter months, it does snow, but most of the time the road is still drivable, even in cars. It’s located inside a mobile home park that has streetlights and is fenced in, but the area around the mobile home park is desolate and old. Please be courteous to people who live in or are traveling the area like yourself.

- "We were anticipating a great stay at Cozy Home nr Grand Canyon South Rim Sleeps 4. We have booked many homes with Vrbo and have always been satisfied with the quality of the homes promoted by Vrbo. This is the first time I have to say that this is one place we should not have booked. From the beginning with payment processing issues to having a home booked for 4 adults only to find ONE chair TWO forks for four adults dining. When I notified the owner on our arrival that we needed more chairs I did not receive any replies, we ended sitting on the edge of the bed to eat our meals. The road for one mile after getting of the highway to get to the home was so bad with pot holes I’m surprised I did not damage my suspension. This is one place I will not be recommending anyone! Pros • Clean • Comfortable beds Cons • One dining chair for 4 adults • Two forks for 4 adults • Road to home could damage your suspension if not at minimum you will need wheel alignment • Poorly described on Vrbo website • Owners reply to queries they feel they want to reply to."

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located guest-house. It is located 15 minutes north of Williams and 45 minutes to the Grand Canyon South Rim .
- "Online photos are accurate, this place is cute as can be! (Although I'd call it more a guesthouse/studio/cabin rather than an "apartment"!) Hosts seem to have thought of everything...even a flashlight (in case my dog had a need after nightfall). Place is outside of Williams, 2 miles off the highway headed to the Grand Canyon. It is outside of town, with a rural feel (almost zero road noise after dark, amazing amount of stars at night) but is still convenient (& the road is paved). I did see a large herd of elk as I drove toward Williams one morning....so just be aware, careful & patient.... Met the hosts during my stay (door unit battery happened to die, & they were on it right away). Nice people. We got to talking.... They do have dogs, I did hear them, but only a few times. Very quiet overall. A few things not mentioned: property does have views, trees and several low peaks nearby. There is a rollaway bed available (stashed in living area). If you are traveling with children or pets, do be aware the property is not completely fenced, and is rural. I mentioned elk, but it's prime coyote territory as well. Just be aware...& look out for your littles! Don't let any of this deter you. I had an awesome, relaxing stay here. It's a great property, well worth the short drive off the beaten path. & Angelica & Ken are top-notch hosts. If you are in the area, headed to Williams attractions or Canyon South rim, this is a great home base for a couple...or 1+ (child or dog...)"

Perfectly situated half way between Williams and the Grand Canyon, this will be your favorite spot. After a long day of adventures, you can relax in our outdoor area with a smokeless firepit while doing some stargazing. Apartment is located within walking distance to the local Food Mart, Restaurant & Bar.
- "When we arrived after dark and a very long day of travel someone else was already there. They had overbooked the home for both our nights which had been reserved many months in advance, we had received arrival instructions, codes etc. so we were left to find a place to stay in busy tourist town at 9pm"

Welcome to our off-grid tiny home near the Grand Canyon, where nature takes center stage!
☀ Pets Welcome
☀This unique 100 sqft retreat boasts mirror sides, seamlessly blending into its surroundings
☀Only a 30 minute drive from the Grand Canyon entrance
☀Beautiful Stargazing
- It is highly recommended to come with an SUV/ car that has 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive
- This is an off-grid glamping experience. The entire property runs on solar power. There is enough power to charge small things like a phone and the mini fridge but not enough for large items like a hair dryer. Particularly cloudy days can lead to very little electricity
The space
★ 1 Double Bed
★ Plates and eating utensils
★ Propane fire pit (can be used for grilling)
★ Incinerator Toilet
★ Outdoor Shower
★ Telescope
★ Indoor Games & Cornhole
★ Pets are Welcome
- "The property was very clean and all amenities were as expected. Unfortunately, we didn't get our check in instructions until almost an hour after the designated check in time and having to call Vrbo support for help. When we finally did get instructions, I messaged a couple times throughout our stay with basic questions and responses took several hours each. This would be an easy 5 star property if communication was improved."

This cozy room is located 20 miles away from the Grand Canyon National Park in a mobile home park 3 minutes down a gravel road. Let the worries of the world slip away while you prepare for your Grand Canyon adventure with a plush queen-size bed that sleeps 2, a smart TV with WiFi, a microwave, and a mini fridge. Only minutes away from a gas station and restaurants.
The Space:
Access will include a separate queen bedroom, one bathroom, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and smart TV.
The front door is a smart lock and need a 4 digit code to get in, guest will receive code once they book the room. There is also a gazebo and BBQ grills that guest have access to.
The Neighborhood:
You will be close to all the action, but in an incredibly relaxing and private escape. Just a 20-minute drive from the Grand Canyon National Park means you can arrive in time to see the sunrise or sunset. We also recommend checking out other nearby attractions, including: Bearizona in Williams or Downtown Flagstaff.
The area you are in is 1 mile down a gravel road in a rural area. There are other houses and campers in the area, as well as street lights and security cameras.
However, with it being so isolated, star gazing is highly recommended while you stay with us. There is a gas station 5 miles from the location that sells small amounts of produce and snacks. We do not have kitchens, but we suggest bringing food with you because there aren’t many options nearby besides the gas station and small restaurant 5 miles away from the property. We have charcoal BBQ pits, gazebos, and picnic tables around the property for guests to use. If there are any problems with the room, please message me through the booking platform, as it’s the fastest way to receive a response. Please be courteous to people who live and are traveling the area like yourself. For winter months we have a space heater located under the sink cabinet.

Yö'ngö offers an exception view of the Milky Way Galaxy you won't find anywhere else.
Secluded among the Pinyon and Pine trees in the high desert is this beautiful and luxurious geodesic dome. Yö'ngö is located about three miles from HWY 64 and about 20 minutes from the South Rim entrance of The Grand Canyon.
We have provided soft memory foam mattresses, microfiber bedding, soft towels, and all the amenities we were able to offer at our beautiful off-grid location.
NOTE TO ALL GUESTS:
This is a luxury geodesic dome tent. It is twice insulated but still... a tent.
Please remember this unit is not a house. It is an off grid set up designed for those who are looking for a secluded camping/stargazing experience and want to do so without forfeiting comfort.
There are 120v outlets with USB charging ports.
The shower room provides a steam shower cabin with Bluetooth speaker.
Please note: **due to freezing temperatures, the dome tent will be winterized, and the running water will be shut off. The dome will not have running water from Oct 20th until April 1. (Weather permitting!) During this dry camping time, we will provide fresh water in 5gallon jugs.
The heating and air conditioning (swamp cooler / water cooled air conditioner) are great off-grid amenities. Please plan for about 20 degrees increase from the heater and about 10 degrees decrease from the cooler.
Yö'ngö is located on a secluded and rural area of the Grand Canyon Junction. It is highly likely that you will hear animals at night, such as coyotes, elk, local cattle, and of course little critters running around on the deck.
DESCRIPTION OF A SUMMER DAY AT Yö'ngö:
When the sun comes over the horizon it fills the sky with light colors of pinks and purple. The hummingbirds and orioles start arriving at the feeder, fighting over who will get the nectar. Sit out on the deck and take in the snowcapped mountains with your morning cup of coffee.
An occasional lizard may climb up the screen door looking for a spot to catch insects.
The summer afternoons will get hot! It is a good idea to be at the canyon during this time of day. But if you want to hang out at Yö'ngö staying outside on the hammock and in the shade is the best way to enjoy the day.
The evenings are just as memorable as the sunrises. If you are lucky, you will be able to catch a glimpse of elk walking around the tree line.
Building a fire and relaxing outside while seeing the most memorable show of stars is the best way to spend the nights at Yö'ngö.
DESCRIPTION OF A WINTER DAY AT Yö'ngö:
Echoing the summer experience description, (excluding the hot temperatures) the winter dry camp experience is as memorable as any other time of the year.
The winter months are very cold, while we provide as much as we can in our off-grid space to keep you comfortable, please understand that the Geodesic Dome can get as warm or cold as outside. You should come prepared for the temperatures forecasted for your stay and expect that the dome will be warmer or colder than what you would get in a traditional house.
Many people, including, ourselves, live in this area without air conditioning or central heating and do our best to pass on tips and tricks! If needed, there are extra blankets under the bed and an electric blanket on the bed for your comfort.
Please note: **due to freezing temperatures, the dome tent will be winterized, and the running water will be shut off.
The dome will not have running water from Oct 20th until April 1. (Weather permitting!) During this dry camping time, we will provide fresh water in 5gallon jugs.
**Winter booking disclaimer: Mid Oct-late March weather can be extremely cold and unpredictable. The dome will be winterized and will not have running water. Fresh water will be provided during these months. All reservations during these months should expect a "winter dry- camp" experience. Please know the stargazing experience can still be amazing and is simply not for the faint-hearted during the winter months. We will not refund stays due to cold weather, no running water, muddy or snowy roads and will honor all reservations booked.
***After a heavy snow fall, an all-wheel or four-wheel drive is required.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR GUESTS:
Road to Yö'ngö:
***Please note due to recently extreme winter weather the roads are rough and have developed many potholes, which has also left standing water on some parts of the road.
The best vehicles are an all-wheel drive (standard size Sedan) with moderate clearance or four-wheel drive vehicle during the monsoon season (late June through September) and after a heavy snow. (December through March) If you see a puddle, drive around it on the higher ground. Don't drive through it; (unless you see others driving through it and feel comfortable to follow) they could be deeper than you think! Follow everyone else's tracks.
A standard size sedan with moderate clearance should be doable April-June and October - November.
***After a heavy snow fall, an all-wheel or four-wheel drive is required.
FIREWOOD:
During winter months we have plenty of pre-chopped fire-wood available for our guests to enjoy the inside fireplace.
You're welcome to collect dead and down wood from our property or use what past guest have donated for outside firepit.
Do not break or cut anything off the trees even if it looks dead.
ELECTRICTY & POWER:
Yö'ngö is powered from solar panels. There is ample power and has always been available as needed. Please be aware that consecutive cloudy days and high-power devices may deplete the stored energy.
I would avoid using the below items:
Hair dryer
Curling iron
Clothes Iron
Space heater
Anything that is made to create heat
AIR CONDITIONING:
Please know, this is a swamp / water cooled air-conditioner. That means you will not get icy cold air from it. This works at a cooler level than a fan but not as strong as regular home air conditioner.
SCREEN DOOR:
Yö'ngö comes with a magnetic screen door. This allows for a gentle breeze and ability to hear the birds at day and the owls at night.
SKYLIGHT:
Yö'ngö has a skylight window and a skylight curtain you can open.
BATHROOM:
Yö'ngö has a private outdoor compositing toilet. This toilet is a private toilet to you and your friends. It is outside the dome and reduces any unwanted odor and it's fully insulated for a more comfortable experience. :)
CLIMATE CONTROL:
The winter months are very cold, and the summer months are very hot. While we provide as much as we can in our off-grid space to keep you comfortable, please understand that the Geodesic Dome can get as warm or cold as outside. You should come prepared for the temperatures forecasted for you stay and expect that the dome will be warmer or colder than what you would get in a traditional house. Many people, including,

- "Where to start. Trying to get out to the site alone was a struggle. Thankfully there wasn’t an emergency where we needed to get to the main road quickly. The property had leaks all over. We even had water leaks on the mattresses we were supposed to sleep on. The propane heater didn’t work and the wood burning furnace was not nearly big enough to heat anything beyond sitting right in front of it. All of the heated blankets didn’t work. Forget about showering, 5 gallons of cold water was not ideal for 2 kids and 2 adults. Especially when the 5 gallons are spread out amongst 3 half empty jugs of water. My son is insulin dependent so a working fridge would have been ideal. Thankfully it was freezing inside and out so keeping his insulin cold worked best out of the fridge that was provided. The worst part was that the “viewing screen” that sold us on the property (in order to see the Milky Way) was so cloudy and tapped together that it made it impossible to see anything outside. Worst place I’ve ever been to. After freezing all night, my family was so uncomfortable that we had to leave and start driving home at 5 in the morning. Why didn’t I reach out to the host? I would if I would have had service or a phone number to call. "

There is an airport and a park shuttle service in Tusayan, AZ, 20 miles away. Uber and Lyft are offered inside Grand Canyon National Park.
