This cabin is fully furnished with a queen size bed and a brand new mattress. This cabin is only rented for 2 people (it is NOT a pull out bed though). Hot & Cold running water (using a 1000 gallon cistern tank). A modern bathroom as well. The cabin is very very close to a few trail heads where you may mountain bike, hike, cross-country ski or ride horses. There are some ATV trails in the area as well. Flagstaff is just 25-30 minutes away and is a great place to experience one of the many unique restaurants/shops. Or you might wish to visit Arizona Snowbowl for some downhill skiing (located right outside of Flagstaff). The cabin is also a fun 25 minutes drive to Williams, AZ and 65 miles from the Grand Canyon. Take a scenic train ride from Williams to Grand Canyon. You will enjoy this historic ride!

We were accompanied by my brother and sister-in-law and visited the town of Williams while there. We shot pool in the evenings. The master bedroom has a brand new king size, memory foam mattress, comfortable seating areas, built-in bookshelves, a 65" ultra HD TV, and an expansive deck with beautiful views of the surrounding forest. The master bedroom has a full en suite bathroom.

In the second bedroom you'll experience a top quality queen mattress. There is a very large and comfortable seating area in the second bedroom with a 60" 4K TV and excellent sound system. The guest bathroom includes a powerful jetted tub with mood lighting and heater. The second bedroom also includes a private deck and a separate salon (i.e. dressing/make-up room).

For extra guests, a queen air-mattress is available and a futon is available as well. A pack and play and play pen are available for our youngest guests.

The home's kitchen is outfitted with plenty of dishware, silverware, pots & pans, a large oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Typically there is plenty of coffee and tea in the pantry and condiments in the refrigerator for your use. A highchair is available in the kitchen as well.

There are large decks with incredible views looking out towards the Kaibab National Forest. If you enjoy nature, there are marked hiking trails directly behind the home with several benches placed for watching the wildlife.

Cozy Mountain Cabin is a beautifully crafted A-frame cabin built in 1973 by a Norwegian-American craftsman with detailed woodwork throughout.

Cozy is isolated among pine-trees - away from the noise and bustle of tourist hotels - social distance is achieved.

Mountain elevations (6300 ft) allow for cooler summer months and mild winters providing a refreshing get-away for global visitors.

In 2006 - host Chris B remodeled the cabin with great attention to detail and transformed from a 70s hippie hang-out to a modern and colorful cabin!

An open floor-plan and bright colors compliment a full kitchen and living room.

The restoration included a sizeable front deck to enjoy quiet mornings and afternoons with family and friends.

Cozy Mountain Cabin water supply comes from an in-ground cistern and is pressurized by an onsite pump.

Guests are requested to be environmentally friendly and conserve water, guests are requested to think about and moderate water consumption by limiting showers to 5 minutes and not running water while washing dishes and brushing teeth.

The cabin is surrounded by tall ponderosa pines and our internet is a satellite service. For basic internet use for work on laptop (not gaming) you have a solid internet but sometimes the service from Starlink is sluggish after dinner time (video streaming buffering may occur). The cell phone reception depending on your service maybe bad. We are at 7,000 elevation with lots of trees so it could be a problem for you. Verizon subscribers have no issues with reception because we have a cell booster. AT & T and T Mobile could be a problem.

The Entire Cabin at Your Disposal - well almost!! 2 closets are locked for the owner's personal belongings, the master bedroom closet and master bathroom closet. There are plenty of dresser drawers for your use during your stay, hooks and coat tree in the master bedroom. The garage is also off limits for the owner's personal belongings.

- "Property was beautiful and clean. Garbage disposal wasn't working. I pulled 2 bottle caps and a metal ball out then it worked perfectly fine. There was a dirty pizza pan in the oven. Out door grill needed a thorough cleaning. We bbq'd steaks but had to clean the grill first. We locked the windows prior to leaving. The windows were not locked when we arrived."

2 car parking area. Please come and go as you wish. The front door is a smart lock and need a 4-digit code to get in, guest will receive code once they book the room. There is also a gazebo and BBQ grills that guests have access to.

The Neighborhood:
You will be close to all the action, but in an incredibly relaxing and private escape. Just a 20-minute drive from the Grand Canyon National Park means you can arrive in time to see the sunrise or sunset. We also recommend checking out other nearby attractions, including: Grand Canyon Rentals Adventures, our other Grand Canyon business renting ATVs, or Bearizona in Williams.

The area you are in is 1 mile down a gravel road in a rural area. There are other houses and campers in the area, as well as streetlights and security cameras.

Getting Around:
There is an airport and a park shuttle service in Tusayan, AZ, 20 miles away. Uber and Lyft are offered inside Grand Canyon National Park.

Other Things to Note:
The location is in between the city of Williams, AZ, and the Grand Canyon South Rim. Although we use Williams’ zip code and city name in our address, our location is not inside the city of Williams, but it is 30 miles away from it. Please check the address with your GPS before driving to the location. From Highway 64 you will turn down a DIRT road called East Woodland Ranch Road. During winter months, it does snow, but most of the time the road is still drivable, even in cars. It’s located inside a mobile home park that has streetlights and is fenced in, but the area around the mobile home park is desolate and old. However, with it being so isolated, star gazing is highly recommended while you stay with us. There is a gas station 5 miles from the location that sells small amounts of produce and snacks. We suggest bringing food with you because there aren’t many options nearby besides the gas station and small restaurant 5 miles away from the property. We have charcoal BBQ pits, gazebos, and picnic tables around the property for guests to use. If there are any problems with the room, please message me through the booking platform, as it’s the fastest way to receive a response. Please be courteous to people who live in or are traveling the area like yourself.

- "So - the good stuff: The place was spotless. Every switch was labeled, super user friendly. The communications were perfect, off the charts. Made getting into the place easy, and they provided lots of bonus stuff - discounts on Grand Canyon ATVs and other stuff. The not so good stuff: The road into the property is dirt, and had rivulets running across it, making for a washboard effect. We had to drive over a mile doing 12 MPH, because anything faster was just too rough. And...that's it. Apart from that, 0 complaints. They did a good job."

You walk into the living room that has a comfortable couch and smart TV. The dining room is off the living room with a table that fits 6 for family dinners. From there you see the kitchen that has all the amenities a normal kitchen has. Just around the corner is the bathroom and laundry room.

Upstairs to your right are two queen beds. To your left is the master bed with a king bed.

* We do stock firewood a couple times a year, but it is not guaranteed that some will be there when you arrive. You are more than welcome to use what we have available. Un-chopped firewood is not usable.

* If your reservation falls on a Wednesday, please roll out the trash cans by the mailbox. The trash is collected on Thursday morning.

* If your reservation is between May and August, you may not be able to have wood burning or open flame fires in the national forest area due to high winds or dry conditions. There is a status when you enter the neighborhood.

This real log cabin is conveniently located in the country 12 miles from Williams and 45 miles from the Grand Canyon.
From the front porch you can look across the valley at Bill Williams Mountain. Located just feet from the Kaibab National Forest there are many furry visitors including, elk, deer, bobcat, coyotes and more. At night the stars are brilliant in the night sky. When the moon is full you can almost count the craters on its surface. The cabin has everything you need for a nice visit.

The cabin space is about 280 sq. ft. It is divided into two rooms. A living room and kitchen area. The second room is bedroom and bathroom with shower.
The covered front porch is perfect for enjoying the valley views, swinging from the porch swing and star gazing at the night sky.

The open kitchen and living room hosts a reclining sectional that can fit 5, a full fridge, oven, stove, and microwave, and a smart TV with several streaming services.

Master bedroom has a new king bed with a large smart tv and ensuite bathroom, and the guest room has a queen bed.

We have high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, BBQ grill, hammock sets, outdoor/indoor seating, campfire pit, wood-fired house-heating oven, parking for plenty, and lots of games.

We may ask that you do not have an outdoor fire in the fire pit during the dry season.

Guest access
You will have full use of the home with the exception of one locked closet in the guest bedroom and two locked drawers in the master bathroom.

There is no access to the guest house.

Parks is an amazing small town nestled off of Historic Route 66. In the middle of both Williams and Flagstaff, this is the perfect stay for anyone looking to visit either city, the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Kaibab Lake, or the other amazing sites Northern Arizona has to offer. Across from our cabin is a maintained National Forest hiking trail and beautiful patch of Aspen trees for easy exploring.

The space
Cozy Mountain Cabin is a beautifully crafted A-frame cabin built in 1973 by a Norwegian-American craftsman with detailed woodwork throughout.

Cozy is isolated among pine-trees - away from the noise and bustle of tourist hotels - social distance is achieved.

Mountain elevations (6300 ft) allow for cooler summer months and mild winters providing a refreshing get-away for global visitors.

In 2006 - host Chris B remodeled the cabin with great attention to detail.

An open floor-plan and bright colors compliment a full kitchen and living room.

The restoration included a sizeable front deck to enjoy quiet mornings and afternoons with family and friends.

Guest access
Cozy Mountain Cabin and all spaces within the home are accessible to guests.

Storage areas marked "off limits"' are not accessible to guests.

Other things to note
Cozy Mountain Cabin water supply comes from an in-ground cistern and is pressurized by an onsite pump.

Guests are requested to be environmentally friendly and conserve water, guests are requested to think about and moderate water consumption by limiting showers to 5 minutes and not running water while washing dishes and brushing teeth.
