- "The Palms to Pines Cabin is exactly as was described. It is very lovely, cozy and homey. So much it was tough to leave. It was easily located, and very close to town (either Pine-Strawberry). Payson is not far as well. In town there are nice shops and a few restaurants. We went hunting for antiques and such.There's a grocery store down the road for any last minute needs. Deb is very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. She is funny and I enjoyed our chats. Deb and Joe went beyond providing some dry goods, canned goods and condements in the refrigerator. That was an added bonus although we brought our own food and such. It was a nice suprise. There was a variety of coffee and tea in the cabinet along with packaged creamers which we never used as we took our own Travel Keurig along with my Pumpkin Spice Coffee and PS Creamer. Its being sold in stores now and I can't leave home without it. In the refrigerator coffee creamer can be found if needed. The interior of the cabin is decorated really cute with bears, cabin sayings and western theme items. This put smiles on my face as it reminded me of my brother who loves John Wayne. There is a JW Cookbook on the kitchen counter which has yummy recipes and beer barrels as decor which are very cool. Other western items may be found throughout; theme tired together. A cute corner welcomed any furbabies that are brought along for the trip. Great birthday! Seeing elk was exciting and hoping for. See you again. Thanks."

The Bear Cabin combines a classic Arizona rustic with good proximity to town. You’ll remember the scenic views of the surrounding national forest, as well as the abundant wildlife in the area. Lots of elk, deer, foxes, and bluejays call this area home. You’ll be staying in a quiet area near fabulous hiking trails, yet you can run into town for a shopping trip or grab a meal at one of our unique eateries. And don’t forget about off-roading! Many of Arizona's finest trails are a mere 5-10 minute drive in either direction from the cabin!

The nearest airport is the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), which is approximately 95 miles away from Pine. Another airport that is closer but smaller is the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA), which is approximately 70 miles away.

***We are dog friendly! We charge a $90 pet fee per pet and require that guests let us know if they decide to bring a furry friend - 2 dogs max. If there is evidence of pets without prior approval, we charge a $300 fee. Please be sure to keep them off of the furniture or bring blankets to protect the sofas. Please clean up after your pets***
• Wi-Fi Internet - Please note: Pine and surrounding cities are in a mountainous area serviced by a satellite internet provider (not Cable/DSL). While the Wi-Fi typically works fine it can be periodically slow at times, especially during peak season: June through September.
•Our cabin is 2 levels and guests must climb stairs. If you will be traveling with young children, you'll want to be mindful of the stairs.

WINTER SEASON:
• During the winter months please check the weather conditions. If the area has snow make sure your vehicle is properly equipped with either 4WD or AWD with snow tires or chains. There is no regular snow removal service and guests are responsible for ensuring their vehicles can get up/down the driveway. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep and guests should be prepared to navigate in winter storm conditions. No refunds are given for storms.

HOUSE RULES
- No smoking of any kind is allowed in the cabin.
- No parties/events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated.
- No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the property's ground.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Pets must have prior approval and there is a fine of $300 otherwise.

Interaction with Guests:
The property is self-check-in using a code in the digital keypad. Check-in information and the access code for the digital lock will be provided to you within 24 hours of arrival.

You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we are available 7 days a week! Should you need anything, just send us a message!

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: All guests are required to complete a simple identity verification before check-in. Security: For your information we have 2 Exterior security cameras unarmed while you stay, located on front porch wall pointed at the front door and driveway 100' range and barbeque area side yard, pointed toward the side door, gate and road with a 100' range. This is a very secure and safe property in a friendly neighborhood.

Perfectly nestled in the forest in Strawberry, AZ the Kodiak Bunkhouse, Studio Cabin blends seamlessly into its environment. It sits inconspicuously on our 1 acre of property. It is the guest house next to the main cabin.

Walking around the Bunkhouse to the back you will find the gas grill and comfortable patio seating that overlooks the dense forest of surrounding pine trees. Upon entering the cabin you will quickly realize this is not your grandad's hunting cabin. 2 queen sized beds occupy one end of the cabin and an efficient kitchenette resides on the side. The bathroom features a glass shower door with brand new tile. During our winters, you will enjoy the warmth and romantic atmosphere generated by the electric fireplace that sits in front of the futon couch that can easily be turned into a bed. Things to do at Tonto Natural Bridge. Fossil Creek Springs, Pine creek Lavender farm, waterfall trail, Trident Winery, explore trails with your ATVs and other toys. Also, enjoy small-town restaurants and shopping.
Coming June 1st if you need more space additional level with game room 75 inch TV bedroom, Murphy bed and bathroom and shower. Addition cost for extra space.

Our newly remodeled cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood in beautiful Pine, Arizona. Relax among the tall pine trees that surround our cabin where deer and elk make occasional visits. The cabin is only 1/2 mile from the shops and restaurants in downtown Pine, and minutes from hiking trails and attractions such as Tonto Natural Bridge. Enjoy your morning coffee on the comfortable back deck, and relax in the evening around the firepit in the front yard, which is complete with natural wood benches. The whole property is completely enclosed with a 6' redwood fence for your privacy and security. Inside features Wi-Fi, a large screen smart TV complete with Dish Network and Chromecast, or play cards/games at the kitchen table. A beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your favorite recipes. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds complete with all linens. The bathroom has a double sink vanity and a separate room with the shower and toilet. Quiet hours 8pm-8am PLEASE NO LARGE PARTIES OR MUSIC. Noise carries long distances as the Kabin is on a hill in a very quiet neighborhood.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE CABIN OR BACK DECK. If smoke or vape residue is detected in those areas, You will be charged the cost of the clean up & odor removal.

Cedar Meadow Cabin is a newly renovated cabin in Pine, Arizona. just 90 minutes from Phoenix, it's a quick escape to this mountain getaway. The cabin is close to hiking, fishing, restaurants, shops, and more.
The space
When you arrive at Cedar Meadow Cabin you can park in our driveway that comfortably fits two cars. The front deck has comfortable chairs where we love to drink coffee and watch the local elk that wander through the yard. It’s also a perfect place to catch the sunset as it illuminates the Mongolian Rim. The area has an abundance of wildlife and elk are often seen nearby or on the property. This cabin is the perfect mix of modern and rural living, making it the ideal getaway.

When you enter the cabin you will be in the sunroom. This space is perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or a quiet mid-day retreat.

The small kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials. We provide a Keurig, toaster, oven, and microwave. Our kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch, a fireplace, and a smart TV. Netflix will be logged in for you to use and you may log into your other accounts. The cabin has several windows that provide a cross breeze of fresh air and lots of natural light!

There is one queen bed with luxury bedding, blackout shades, and separate temperature control.

Additional Sleeping:
The sunroom does have a full-size sofa sleeper and the couch can be made into a twin bed. These would be suitable for children, but an adult may not find this sleeping arrangement comfortable. The cabin can accommodate a family of 4.

Bathroom:
The cabin has one bathroom with a tub and shower, plenty of towels, and all environmentally safe essential products are provided for you to use during your stay.
Other things to note
The entrance has an electric keypad for an easy self check-in process.

The cabin is located in a neighborhood. We greatly appreciate our neighbors and ask that you be respectful of them and aware of noise levels at night.

We have the best WIFI we are able to get for our area, but streaming multiple devices can make the WIFI spotty and slow.

We do not provide the small propane tanks for the firepit and recommend you get some from a gas station /general store down the street.

There may be fire restrictions throughout the year due to certain weather conditions.

The house has a new mini-split HVAC air conditioner and heater. There are separate units and controls for the bedroom and the main living area.

Pine Creek Cabins, that backs to our large treed lot with Pine Creek at the rear of our property, offers unique, year-round delights for the whole family. Minutes from town, it is close to everything, yet also very secluded. Amenities of our cabins include, cable TV, propane stone fireplace and a kitchen complete with full size appliances, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster.

Our cabins are conveniently located in the heart of the Village of Pine. This little rural town provides easy access to hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, hunting,boating on our beautiful mountain lakes and star gazing. This area is a gateway to some of the most beautiful and rugged back country in the Central Arizona mountain region . It’s also a prime bird-watching destination, and there is a secluded, seasonal stream bed nearby to explore. The cabin is a great escape from the heat at approximately 6000 feet in elevation this cabin provides a comfortable getaway in the Pine-Strawberry community. If features a large deck where we spend most of our time when we are in town.

It is located on the Strawberry side of the community and is walking distance from 4 restaurant/bars.

The space
This home features a large yard with room to roam. The main bedroom features a king size bed, the loft a queen size bed, and a queen size sofa bed in the living room makes this cabin a great retreat for the whole family.

There is a selection of board games, as well as some outdoor games including ladder golf and corn hole boards.

The living-room has a TV, DVD player, a collection of DVDs and access to streaming content via the Amazon fire TV stick, but no cable TV.

Outside on the deck there is a table, chairs and a propane grill, making for a great outdoor living space.

It is a great time to visit the Tonto and or Coronado National forests, that border the community.

Less than a 2 hour drive from from Phoenix.

The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware and basic spices to cook. You literally just need to pack your toothbrush and come enjoy the clean mountain air.
Easy 90 minute drive from Phoenix area and you can experience a completely different climate and cool laid back small Town vibe.
The local restaurants do not disappoint! We love the “Old County Inn“ we think it has the best pizza and wings! There is a small local market store where you can buy any needed supplies and there’s a farmers market on the weekends when in season.
There are plenty of games and cards available for your enjoyment - just ask that you leave this so others can enjoy as well.

Welcome to our guest house, a cozy cabin nestled on four acres of native desert landscape near the base of Mt. Graham. The property sits a short distance from the town of Pima and is around a 25-minute drive from Safford/Thatcher. Accessible via a quiet 3-mile dirt road, this rustic bohemian-style cabin features exposed rock and wood walls, concrete floors, and a carefully curated mix of new and antique decor and furniture. The history and love put into this unique space is evident throughout.

The main room consists of an open kitchen area with breakfast counter, a small dining area, and a cozy living space with all the amenities. The second room is spacious and features a king-size bed and additional living area/workspace which also has the option of a full-size pull-out sofa bed. Outside, a porch with seating, a picnic table, and a hammock under shady trees offer peaceful spots to relax and take in the desert scenery and night sky.

The Sonoran Desert surrounds Mesquite Retreat and nature lovers will delight in the diverse species that call this area home. The property offers access to state and public land and there are lots of opportunities for outdoor activities nearby. We regularly share the yard with deer, rabbits, and an immense variety of birds. Javelina, bobcats, and Gila Monsters also visit the property from time to time, and visitors should not be alarmed if they happen to see snakes, scorpions, mice, bugs, etc. Please remember to respect and admire these wild animals from a distance. While we do our best to keep insects at bay, it's not uncommon to occasionally encounter them indoors.

To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests, we require that you do not bring pets, host parties, or smoke in this space. Mesquite Retreat is a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience the beauty of the desert in its purest form. The owners live on the other side of the property and external security cameras monitor the main gate and cabin entrance for additional safety. There are no cameras inside the house. We also close the main gate from 10pm-6am, but visitors can easily enter or leave the property at any time.

In order to have cell phone service, you must connect to the WIFI network. If your phone does not have this capability cell service will not be available.
In rare cases of heavy rain, Ash Creek may overflow onto the road, temporarily blocking passage. Rest assured, we'll keep you informed if such a situation arises.

Guests staying 14 days or longer will be required to pay a cleaning fee every two weeks to maintain the freshness, cleanliness, and functionality of Mesquite Retreat.

Our property is designed to accommodate a maximum of 4 guests. If the number of guests exceeds this limit, an additional charge of $100 per guest, per night will apply. This ensures we maintain the comfort and safety of all our guests, and helps us continue to provide the best possible experience.

Escape city life in this cozy mountain cabin in the Tonto National Forest. Its wrap-around double deck overlooking the Mogollon Rim is great for watching sunrises, sunsets, wildlife, and stargazing. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds (one has an ensuite bathroom), and there's a murphy bed in the library. The library has a large workspace with two desks. The cabin is the perfect base for relaxing, hiking, working remotely, visiting Fossil Creek, Tonto Natural Bridge and so much more!l

The space
This pet-friendly cozy log cabin is powered mostly by solar and comes with a bay window breakfast nook, open kitchen and living room with a wood-fired stove, a spacious wrap-around deck with multiple seating options, a propane fire pit, and a fully fenced-in yard for dogs to run around.

The library room contains a murphy bed and is also a great place to work remotely with wifi and large office space with two desks (one desk has a great window view overlooking the Mogollon Rim).

There is an elliptical for exercise, but you'll probably prefer the many local walking and hiking trails nearby (The Pine-Strawberry Trail is within walking distance of the cabin).

There is also an extensive library, board games, DVDs and VHS tapes, and a 55” screen smart TV in the living room for streaming shows and movies (Please Note: there is NO Cable TV, and you need to use your own streaming accounts: Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ etc).

~PET RULES & FEE~ Please note that while the cabin is pet-friendly, we have a maximum of 2 dogs allowed, and we do require a non-refundable pet fee of $25 for pets. Please also pick up your pet's poo in the yard and place it in the trash bin outside before you leave.

NOTE ON PETS: this is one of the few pet friendly cabins in the area, so even though our cleaning lady spends extra time cleaning up dog hair after guests with pets, you may still see some dog hair on furniture that is too fine for the vacuum and lint rollers to grab.

FYI: This cabin is normally my full-time home, but I'm currently away on a remote nursing assignment.

This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, rustic wood cabin. It’s a Remote, off-grid style, peaceful place to stay and admire the pines, breath in fresh air and hike, with a gorgeous view of Pine. You will very likely see elk and other wild life. Access is by Primitive roads. A 4x4 vehicle is required in snow or rainy season.

The space
The Cabin: This little cabin was built by hand, entirely of wood from floor to roof and completed in 2019. It’s two bedrooms with queen beds and one bathroom with a claw foot soaking tub. There is a loft with two children’s beds and a small desk/work space. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking needs with an electrical stove and cook top. The living room area contains a flat screen TV and sound bar, couch and loveseat and a small dining room table.

Outside:
The south side of the building has a small sitting area with loveseat and string lights. The flat plastic surface and mechanical box is the septic system. This is a special alternative septic system so we don’t use and chemical cleaners and don’t put and food or coffee down the sink and nothing but toilet paper in the toilet.

The west side is te drive way. The access to this is on semi-steep roads. Depending on conditions it may be better to park at the top of the turn around or back Down into the driveway. During rain or snow conditions a 4x4 will be required to enter and exit the area.

The east side of the property is where the patio with the propane fire pit is. There is a small grassy patch below that can be accessed by stairs. Elk often sit here and drink water from the water reservoirs. Do not approach wild life as they may get scared and react. We generally watch them from the patio.

The town:
There is a brewery called That Brewery within a 5 min drive. The #1 rated pizza place inAz, Old county Inn which has live music and a bar and taproom attached is also a 5 minute drive. There is a supermarket, wine tasting room and a few breakfast places about a 10 minute drive away

Pine observes a dark sky policy so please refrain from using bright lights on the back patio at night. Sound also carries so please be considerate of neighbors and the peaceful forest setting.

Other things to note
This is a small cabin that is set up in an off-grid style way. It uses an on-demand water heater and an alternative septic system. All cleaning supplies and anything going down the drains must be liquid in nature and organic. Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet. Please do not flush wet wipes or and feminine products down the toiled. Please do not dump any solids or coffee grinds down the drain. There are mini-split heaters/aircon in each room. They all work with the same remote. Hot water works best when not turned on full blast since the on demand water heater can only heat so much water flow per second. Any other questions do not hesitate to call/text. There is not trash service so you will have to transport trash to the nearest gas station where they generally charge a few bucks per bag. Be polite to neighbors, trees and wildlife. Tread lightly. Carry out anything you brought in.

There is no dishwasher in the house. Please consider this as you plan any meals at the home. The home is on a septic system and any food waste needs to go into the trash as there is no garbage disposal in the sink.

Because this home is outside of the major cities and nestled in a small forest town, there are occasional interruptions in services such as internet, water, or power. While we do our best to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, please note that this is beyond our control.

Cedar Meadow Cabin is a newly renovated cabin in Pine, Arizona. just 90 minutes from Phoenix, it's a quick escape to this mountain getaway. The cabin is close to hiking, fishing, restaurants, shops, and more.

The space
When you arrive at Cedar Meadow Cabin you can park in our driveway that comfortably fits two cars. The front deck has comfortable chairs where we love to drink coffee and watch the local elk that wander through the yard. It’s also a perfect place to catch the sunset as it illuminates the Mongolian Rim. The area has an abundance of wildlife and elk are often seen nearby or on the property. This cabin is the perfect mix of modern and rural living, making it the ideal getaway.


When you enter the cabin you will be in the sunroom. This space is perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or a quiet mid-day retreat.

The small kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials. We provide a Keurig, toaster, oven, and microwave. Our kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch, a fireplace, and a smart TV. Netflix will be logged in for you to use and you may log into your other accounts. The cabin has several windows that provide a cross breeze of fresh air and lots of natural light!

There is one queen bed with luxury bedding, blackout shades, and separate temperature control.

Additional Sleeping:
The sunroom does have a full-size sofa sleeper and the couch can be made into a twin bed. These would be suitable for children, but an adult may not find this sleeping arrangement comfortable. The cabin can accommodate a family of 4.

Bathroom:
The cabin has one bathroom with a tub and shower, plenty of towels, and all environmentally safe essential products are provided for you to use during your stay.

The entrance has an electric keypad for an easy self check-in process.

The cabin is located in a neighborhood. We greatly appreciate our neighbors and ask that you be respectful of them and aware of noise levels at night.


We have the best WIFI we are able to get for our area, but streaming multiple devices can make the WIFI spotty and slow.

We do not provide the small propane tanks for the firepit and recommend you get some from a gas station /general store down the street.

There may be fire restrictions throughout the year due to certain weather conditions.


The house has a new mini-split HVAC air conditioner and heater. There are separate units and controls for the bedroom and the main living area.

There is one security camera located in the driveway pointed towards the driveway and the deck steps. This camera will begin recording for short periods when movement is detected in driveway throughout your stay.

A spacious porch allows for gatherings, elk watching (they usually walk right through the front yard), or a place to sip your morning coffee. The front porch has ample space to hang out—grab extra chairs from the laundry room if you need! The back porch overlooks a cute seasonal creek that runs through the property. The creeks extends through the front yard next to a picnic table, and you’ll likely see elk walk through or hang out at some point in the day.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need from dinnerware to wine glasses. Pots, pans, baking sheets, and more are available. Use the Keurig single-serve or make a pot of coffee; a reusable K-cup or coffee filters are provided. A full-sized fridge, electric stove, microwave, and toaster are all available.

The living room includes a large wood-burning fireplace and is adjacent to an open dining room and kitchen, including kitchen breakfast bar. Spread out on the 6-person dining table with a delicious meal, family games, or use as a workspace with the WiFi. There are plenty of games in the hutch.

The living room can accommodate a queen air mattress found in the laundry room. The TV includes Roku and a sound bar to stream music from your phone. Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max are all included!

The master bedroom with one queen is downstairs and attached to the bathroom via it’s own entrance. The master has its own TV with Roku.

The upstairs loft is open to the living room and has lots of space with a queen and a twin bed. A hangout space with a desk and chairs are a great place to read or relax! Please note that the stairs and loft may not be friendly spaces for smaller children.

If needed, a washer and dryer are available for you to use.

A BBQ grill is ready for your cooking adventures. And for night time we have a sitting room that’s fully equipped with TV, WI-FI, NES and N64 Game Consoles, Disney Plus and Amazon (Prime) streaming. And we are excited to announce that we added DVD player and VHS for all old Disney movies.

Located in the Tonto National Forest and Fossil Creek and surrounded by towering pine trees, this recently remodeled cabin is only a two- hour drive from Phoenix. We are 3 miles away from a cute Pine downtown with great restaurants.

We allow pets now- please do not leave pets alone in the cabin. Please respect our furnitures too. Treat our place with care and respect. $25 dollars for pets for extra fee to cleaning.

Other things to note
First of all, we are located in mountain/rims where most services can be limited or slow. Sometimes we get bad weather in the winter and/or get too hot in the summer that may impact your stay at our cabin.

Most restaurants and stores open from Wednesday to Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday are good days to go out on hiking and relaxing at the cabin.

Pine is hottest in July. It can be uncomfortable in midday. We provide two big air conditioner portables that can spread cool air in the cabin (They can be moved around in the cabin to make you feel comfortable) and three fan stands with a variety speeds. The air conditioner portables need an hour or two to cool down the cabin and it will be good for rest of the stay.

The Pine/Strawberry water company sometimes have to shut down the water system for pipe fixture in our neighborhood. Don't be alarmed because they normally will come back in the system in an hour or few. (I normally get a phone call from the water company and I will let you know if it happens.) It happens few times during year from my experience. (Hopefully it wont happen often in the future).

Also trails may closes sometimes because of the dry season that may cause fire. The trails stay open this Summer but they did close all trails last Summer in 2018.
