- "The Palms to Pines Cabin is exactly as was described. It is very lovely, cozy and homey. So much it was tough to leave. It was easily located, and very close to town (either Pine-Strawberry). Payson is not far as well. In town there are nice shops and a few restaurants. We went hunting for antiques and such.There's a grocery store down the road for any last minute needs. Deb is very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. She is funny and I enjoyed our chats. Deb and Joe went beyond providing some dry goods, canned goods and condements in the refrigerator. That was an added bonus although we brought our own food and such. It was a nice suprise. There was a variety of coffee and tea in the cabinet along with packaged creamers which we never used as we took our own Travel Keurig along with my Pumpkin Spice Coffee and PS Creamer. Its being sold in stores now and I can't leave home without it. In the refrigerator coffee creamer can be found if needed. The interior of the cabin is decorated really cute with bears, cabin sayings and western theme items. This put smiles on my face as it reminded me of my brother who loves John Wayne. There is a JW Cookbook on the kitchen counter which has yummy recipes and beer barrels as decor which are very cool. Other western items may be found throughout; theme tired together. A cute corner welcomed any furbabies that are brought along for the trip. Great birthday! Seeing elk was exciting and hoping for. See you again. Thanks."

The Bear Cabin combines a classic Arizona rustic with good proximity to town. You’ll remember the scenic views of the surrounding national forest, as well as the abundant wildlife in the area. You’ll be staying in a quiet area near fabulous hiking trails, yet you can run into town for a shopping trip or grab a meal at one of our unique eateries. And don’t forget about off-roading! Many of Arizona's finest trails are a mere 5-10 minute drive in either direction from the cabin!

The nearest airport is the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), which is approximately 95 miles away from Pine. Another airport that is closer but smaller is the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA), which is approximately 70 miles away.

• Wi-Fi Internet - Please note: Pine and surrounding cities are in a mountainous area serviced by a satellite internet provider (not Cable/DSL). While the Wi-Fi typically works fine it can be periodically slow at times, especially during peak season: June through September.
•Our cabin is 2 levels and guests must climb stairs. If you will be traveling with young children, you'll want to be mindful of the stairs.

WINTER SEASON:
• During the winter months please check the weather conditions. If the area has snow make sure your vehicle is properly equipped with either 4WD or AWD with snow tires or chains. There is no regular snow removal service and guests are responsible for ensuring their vehicles can get up/down the driveway. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep and guests should be prepared to navigate in winter storm conditions. No refunds are given for storms.

HOUSE RULES
- No smoking of any kind is allowed in the cabin.
- No parties/events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated.
- No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the property's ground.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Pets must have prior approval and there is a fine of $300 otherwise.

Interaction with Guests:
The property is self-check-in using a code in the digital keypad. Check-in information and the access code for the digital lock will be provided to you within 24 hours of arrival.

Perfectly nestled in the forest in Strawberry, AZ the Kodiak Bunkhouse, Studio Cabin blends seamlessly into its environment. It sits inconspicuously on our 1 acre of property. It is the guest house next to the main cabin.

Walking around the Bunkhouse to the back you will find the gas grill and comfortable patio seating that overlooks the dense forest of surrounding pine trees. Upon entering the cabin you will quickly realize this is not your grandad's hunting cabin. 2 queen sized beds occupy one end of the cabin and an efficient kitchenette resides on the side. The bathroom features a glass shower door with brand new tile. During our winters, you will enjoy the warmth and romantic atmosphere generated by the electric fireplace that sits in front of the futon couch that can easily be turned into a bed. Entertainment is provided with a smart TV, cards, board games, fast WiFi and the local bars and restaurants within a few miles. Not to mention the amazing hiking and biking trails, Fossil Creek and Tonto Natural Bridge a few miles away as well.

When the day is done enjoy a movie on the big screen smart TV in the living area or play with a choice of fun Games. Or enjoy telling stories around the Fire Pit. There is Plenty to do to make great memories. The Master has a King Bed, Second Room a Queen Bed. The Living Area has a Double Size Hide a Couch, The Blankets and Pillow are in the Coat Closet. Sheets are already on the Mattress.

- "We had a little trouble finding it at first because the house is actually part of 2 properties. We’ve been renting vacation cabins in Pine for over 3 years now. This location has been the absolute best. We just love sitting on the the back patio in the mornings and evening. The morning sit consists of watching the valley wake-up.. pretty soon the hummingbirds are dive bombing the feeder 6’ away. You can really see the detail of the birds and makes for a very pleasant morning. Evenings we set out on the patio through dusk to dark. There is a natural bedding area for elk directly behind the cabin…"
