Cabin has been completely remodeled with new flooring, furniture, fireplace, kitchen appliances, and all the creature comforts of home. New Mitsubishi 3 unit split system for A/C and heat. - "The Palms to Pines Cabin is exactly as was described. It is very lovely, cozy and homey. So much it was tough to leave. It was easily located, and very close to town (either Pine-Strawberry). Payson is not far as well. In town there are nice shops and a few restaurants. We went hunting for antiques and such.There's a grocery store down the road for any last minute needs. Deb is very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. She is funny and I enjoyed our chats. Deb and Joe went beyond providing some dry goods, canned goods and condements in the refrigerator. That was an added bonus although we brought our own food and such. It was a nice suprise. There was a variety of coffee and tea in the cabinet along with packaged creamers which we never used as we took our own Travel Keurig along with my Pumpkin Spice Coffee and PS Creamer. Its being sold in stores now and I can't leave home without it. In the refrigerator coffee creamer can be found if needed. The interior of the cabin is decorated really cute with bears, cabin sayings and western theme items. This put smiles on my face as it reminded me of my brother who loves John Wayne. There is a JW Cookbook on the kitchen counter which has yummy recipes and beer barrels as decor which are very cool. Other western items may be found throughout; theme tired together. A cute corner welcomed any furbabies that are brought along for the trip. Great birthday! Seeing elk was exciting and hoping for. See you again. Thanks."

The Bear Cabin combines a classic Arizona rustic with good proximity to town. You’ll remember the scenic views of the surrounding national forest, as well as the abundant wildlife in the area. Lots of elk, deer, foxes, and bluejays call this area home. You’ll be staying in a quiet area near fabulous hiking trails, yet you can run into town for a shopping trip or grab a meal at one of our unique eateries. And don’t forget about off-roading! Many of Arizona's finest trails are a mere 5-10 minute drive in either direction from the cabin!

The nearest airport is the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), which is approximately 95 miles away from Pine. Another airport that is closer but smaller is the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA), which is approximately 70 miles away.

***We are dog friendly! We charge a $90 pet fee per pet and require that guests let us know if they decide to bring a furry friend - 2 dogs max. • Wi-Fi Internet - Please note: Pine and surrounding cities are in a mountainous area serviced by a satellite internet provider (not Cable/DSL). While the Wi-Fi typically works fine it can be periodically slow at times, especially during peak season: June through September.
•Our cabin is 2 levels and guests must climb stairs. If you will be traveling with young children, you'll want to be mindful of the stairs.

WINTER SEASON:
• During the winter months please check the weather conditions. If the area has snow make sure your vehicle is properly equipped with either 4WD or AWD with snow tires or chains. There is no regular snow removal service and guests are responsible for ensuring their vehicles can get up/down the driveway. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep and guests should be prepared to navigate in winter storm conditions. No refunds are given for storms.

HOUSE RULES
- No smoking of any kind is allowed in the cabin.
- No parties/events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated.
- No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the property's ground.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Pets must have prior approval and there is a fine of $300 otherwise.

Interaction with Guests:
The property is self-check-in using a code in the digital keypad. Check-in information and the access code for the digital lock will be provided to you within 24 hours of arrival.

The cabin is only 1/2 mile from the shops and restaurants in downtown Pine, and minutes from hiking trails and attractions such as Tonto Natural Bridge. Enjoy your morning coffee on the comfortable back deck, and relax in the evening around the firepit in the front yard, which is complete with natural wood benches. The whole property is completely enclosed with a 6' redwood fence for your privacy and security. Inside features Wi-Fi, a large screen smart TV complete with Dish Network and Chromecast, or play cards/games at the kitchen table. A beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your favorite recipes. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds complete with all linens. Cedar Meadow Cabin is a newly renovated cabin in Pine, Arizona. just 90 minutes from Phoenix, it's a quick escape to this mountain getaway. The cabin is close to hiking, fishing, restaurants, shops, and more.
The space
When you arrive at Cedar Meadow Cabin you can park in our driveway that comfortably fits two cars. The front deck has comfortable chairs where we love to drink coffee and watch the local elk that wander through the yard. It’s also a perfect place to catch the sunset as it illuminates the Mongolian Rim. The area has an abundance of wildlife and elk are often seen nearby or on the property. This cabin is the perfect mix of modern and rural living, making it the ideal getaway.

When you enter the cabin you will be in the sunroom. This space is perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or a quiet mid-day retreat.

The small kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials. We provide a Keurig, toaster, oven, and microwave. Our kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch, a fireplace, and a smart TV. Netflix will be logged in for you to use and you may log into your other accounts. The cabin has several windows that provide a cross breeze of fresh air and lots of natural light!

There is one queen bed with luxury bedding, blackout shades, and separate temperature control.

Additional Sleeping:
The sunroom does have a full-size sofa sleeper and the couch can be made into a twin bed. These would be suitable for children, but an adult may not find this sleeping arrangement comfortable. The cabin can accommodate a family of 4.

Bathroom:
The cabin has one bathroom with a tub and shower, plenty of towels, and all environmentally safe essential products are provided for you to use during your stay.
Other things to note
The entrance has an electric keypad for an easy self check-in process.

The cabin is located in a neighborhood. We greatly appreciate our neighbors and ask that you be respectful of them and aware of noise levels at night.

We have the best WIFI we are able to get for our area, but streaming multiple devices can make the WIFI spotty and slow.

We do not provide the small propane tanks for the firepit and recommend you get some from a gas station /general store down the street.

There may be fire restrictions throughout the year due to certain weather conditions.

The house has a new mini-split HVAC air conditioner and heater. There are separate units and controls for the bedroom and the main living area.

- "We loved staying at this house for our Lake Powell trip. It is so beautiful! It’s in a great location right near a gas station in case you need ice or gas before heading to the lake, and about 8-10 minutes west from the Wahweap marina. It has 4 bedrooms that slept all of our guests comfortably, we had a total of 9 mostly adults. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and dish you need to make any kind of meal. Everything is very clean and in great condition. It also comes with a laundry room and a nice washer and dryer. Some of our beach towels got drenched on the lake and it was nice having a washer and dryer to do some laundry. The game room in the garage is amazing and our kids loved playing with the pool table. They also loved the ice maker and the snow cone machine, that was so fun. The yard is also very beautiful, with a pool and hot tub to relax in, nice comfortable lawn chairs and a nice big table for dinners. We also sat around the propane fire and had smores, which was so fun after a long day on the lake. I highly recommend this awesome house, we will come again!"

Just a mile from I-10, and a great base to explore the Sky Islands (SE Arizona), this quiet room has views of an old west movie set! The house is 10 min from stores in Benson, and 40 min from the many attractions in Tucson. I have a dog and 2 cats, so well-behaved pets are welcome. You can even say hi to Wrangler and Levi, my horse & burro!

Away from the city lights, so the stars are amazing!

The space
I have a dog and two cats, so you should be ok with animals. Your well-behaved pet is welcome with approval (please send me an inquiry first). I also have two equines, which you are welcome to look at and talk to, but please don't touch or feed them until I've introduced you. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is space in the refrigerator and freezer for any food you might bring. There is medium-roast coffee, half and half, and a small coffee maker. You are also welcome to hang out in the living room. There is a lovely front porch with views of the mountains to sit on and have your morning coffee. If you are traveling with a dog, I have a small yard that you can let them out in while you are at the house. The space is also safe for off-leash if your dog is well-trained.

You'll be in a semi-rural area, so it's calm and quiet. You can see eight mountain ranges, and over 30 miles away.

It's about half a mile from the railroad, so you can hear the trains, though they aren't bothersome to most. I also have a rooster, but there are earplugs available.

I've hiked and backpacked all over the Sky Islands, and am happy to help you plan your trip.

I'm a bit over a mile on a paved road off the interstate, then ~1/4 mi on good dirt road to the house. Lots of space for parking on gravel/dirt area. I also have space to park a trailer or uhaul.

During your stay
I work in Tucson some days and telecommute others, but will be around most mornings and evenings and I'm happy to give you tips on places to visit. I'm happy to socialize sometimes, but I can also hang out in my room and give you more privacy in the rest of the house.

Other things to note
If you'd like to stay for 2 weeks or more, but a few of the dates are blocked, message me. I may be out of town, but able to accommodate longer stays.

While I am within commuting distance of Tucson, it is still a 40 min drive to downtown, so if you really want to be in town, you may want to look elsewhere.

There is a Dollar General for quick errands a mile away, and a full grocery store and other shops 10 min down the freeway.

Great resting spot for travelers exploring Arizona, the Grand Canyon, Route 66 and much more. We offer a private comfortable bedroom and bathroom. We live in a quiet corner of the Valle Vista development, surrounded by abundant open space. The patio is available for you to cool off with a dip in our private seasonal pool or warm up in our hot tub or just relax and enjoy the spectacular night sky.

The space
We have 2 friendly dogs who have the run of the house except your private bedroom and bath and a cat that lives in the garage.
Our location is a great stopping point between Vegas or LA or Joshua Tree NP and the Grand Canyon South Rim or Grand Canyon Skywalk. As far as I know it's the closest Air BnB stay to Havasupai Falls if you're lucky enough to be doing that hike.

During your stay
We want you to have the stay you desire. Our default is to be helpful but give you space to enjoy your stay. If you're looking to socialize with us, just let us know your preferences and we're always glad to chat and have a drink or two or swim / hot tub with our guests. We have enjoyed meeting many people who have stayed with us!
Note that as listed the pool and hot tub are shared between you and us and any guests that we may invite. It’s possible we may have a group over in which case we will probably invite you to join in.

Other things to note
Note that the nearest full service grocery store is 1/2 hour away in Kingman. We do have a Dollar General and small pizza place that offers takeout within 4 miles.
While it may work out that you are able to have exclusive use of our pool and hot tub, we are avid users of these amenities and often have friends and family over to enjoy them as well. Please consider this when booking so you are not disappointed.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The home is very clean with new appliances. You will have your own private bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen, patio, and yard is shared with me but I am often away for work and you will most likely have the space to yourself! If I am home, I have a private entrance and will keep mostly to myself.

The space
You are also welcome to use the soft tub in the backyard to relax and view the stars! There is also a fire pit and Blackstone grill.

I do allow one dog but must be well-behaved and you must clean up after it in the backyard. There is a $35 pet fee.

Other things to note
The house rules are simple and are as follows:

No smoking of any kind (including vaping) in home or property.

No pets of any kind are permitted.

No additional guests/visitors are allowed at ANY time.

I will need a picture of each guest's ID prior to your stay. This is for safety purposes.

No third party bookings are allowed. Meaning, you cannot book a stay for someone else.

The 3 bedrooms are in a private home 10 minutes east of Safford. You will have access to a basement, small gym with a treadmill, rowing machine and weights. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook and prepare. If you're up for a BBQ, I have a fire grill or a gas grill. If you want to pit, there is a pit. It comes with an outdoor firepit and an indoor fireplace. There is a pool, but the heater hasn't been installed yet. Summer only. The hot tub is ready for use. Owner will give you space.
