The upstairs boasts a large open concept kitchen with bar and eating nook, plus a formal dining room and large living room with windows all around showcasing our AZ blue skies, sunshine and unstoppable views. Just step outside to experience the panoramic mountain deck views on the upper level to really absorb the stunning landscape!

Two bedrooms upstairs with two full baths, including the primary en suite with full soaking tub/shower and double vanity. From the primary, the glass door leads to your private portion of deck with mountain/desert view and you'll also have the use of one of our three dedicated workspaces - one in the master, one downstairs and one on the landing.

Downstairs you'll find another huge open area with living room, dining area, and another full kitchen with bar seating. This is surrounded by three bedrooms - one with a full en suite bathroom; another with it's own private side patio; a kids room with double bunk beds along with toys and books to keep them entertained; a full-size shared bathroom and, again - tons of windows, light and more views. The entire expansive patio with comfy lounge seating is your doorway to a la carte dining and relaxing views; with the ramada and dining table for 8, a covered deck and an additional table for dining for 4 - you won't be short of different angles to scope out our beautiful surroundings and the wildlife.

Whether you're an extended family of up to seven people or two to three couples wanting comfort and independent living space, Zamar House is a great venue for enjoying Jerome and the Verde Valley. There is a two night minimum. The rate for Friday and Saturday is $300 per night. The weeknight rate for Sunday through Thursday is $260 per night . There is a $100 cleaning fee per stay.

Situated on the corner of 5th and Center Streets in Jerome AZ, the Zamar House was built in 1902 during the heyday of the United Verde Mine. A Zamar family member lived in the house continuously until the late 1980's. The house has been extensively restored to reflect its historic integrity and character.

The upstairs level offers one bedroom with a luxurious queen mattress and bedding, a sleeping porch with a twin daybed and bedding, a bathroom with full size shower, full gourmet kitchen, living room and dining room. The upstairs also includes a Smart TV with Apple TV access. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dinnerware, pots, pans and drinkware. There is a coffee maker. There is also a Dualit toaster. The refrigerator has ice and filtered water. It has independently controlled central heating and A/C.

The lower level consists of two bedrooms, each with a private bath, luxurious queen mattress and bedding, and private outside entrance. There is also a general entrance to the lower level into a parlor room with access through sliding pocket doors to an activity room. There is a full capacity washer and dryer in one bathroom. The other bathroom offers a relaxing clawfoot tub. Both lower level bathrooms have full size showers. All bathrooms are stocked with linens. The lower level has independently controlled central heating and A/C.

The upper and lower level offer amazing views of the Red Rocks of Sedona and the Verde Valley below from the wrap-around porches and many vantage points throughout the property.

The Zamar House has on-site parking off Center Street with room for two cars. Stairs from the property's parking area provide direct access to the grounds and all entrances to the house. The property is spacious and designed for privacy with unparalleled views from many vantage points. It is situated within walking distance via Center Street, one of the most level streets in Jerome, to the shops, restaurants, bars, and tasting rooms. In the center of Jerome, a wonderful two bedroom apartment with a great view of the Verde Valley, from Flagstaff to Sedona. Right in the center of Jerome and walking distance to the whole historic district and some great restaurants.

- "Fun apartment in the middle of Jerome. Loved the porch and the incredible view. Very clean. Great location. Hard to find exact location at first. Parking always tricky in Jerome, was able to park in the street a few hundred feet north of the apartment. Only negative was door locks did not work, hopefully this gets fixed. " - "AAAA LUXURY ! There were rocking chairs on the porch which was made private by old growth trees. Everything was neat and clean, and the space was large and inviting. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The great thing about this house is it places you right in the action in a historic well decorated house so that you live the vibe while you stay there. Cool, spacious, and modern ambiance in an historic mine building renovation. Each of our apartment conversions in this 100+ year old structure has its own distinct personality. 104 is bright, cheerful, modern and comfortable. Located on the ground floor, North East corner of the building, this apartment is sunny and bright in the morning and shaded in the afternoons. The big kitchen window looks out to the North and East with the red rocks of Sedona and Sycamore canyon in the distance.

A 32" lcd tv with over 25 channels, a vcr and dvd player with a few movies just in case.

Interaction with Guests
Your privacy is important to us. The studio is 250 feet from the main house. Still we will be happy to help in anyway we can. Whether you need some advice on what to see in the area, or where the best restaurants are. We have a great patio area to sit at and watch the hummingbirds. We opened up our guest studio with hopes of meeting people from all over the world. So where ever your from (near or far) we would love to visit, if you have the time while your here.

The Neighborhood
We live on Mingus Mountain, overlooking Clarkdale and Cottonwood. You can see Camp Verde, Cornville, Village of Oak Creek, Sedona, Flagstaff mountains, Williams mountains etc. It is like living on top of the world.

Getting Around
Plenty of parking at the house. A shuttle is available from the Phoenix airport to Cottonwood, we would be glad to give you a ride from there.

Other Things to Note
The water is from a private well and tastes great.

You will feel like you are on top of the world. This 1100 square foot suite has everything you should need. There are chairs on the deck for enjoying the morning sunrises. A 52" tv in the living room, and a 42" tv in the master bedroom. The bedroom has a extra tall queen bed with soft sheets and lots of pillows. The second bedroom has a King bed. There is only one bathroom it is in the master bedroom. You must enter the master bedroom to get to the bathroom. You enter the suite from your private patio.

Guest Access
There is a complete kitchen with all the necessities, a side by side fridge , coffee maker, toaster, microwave, two burner stove with pots and pans etc. A large living room with vaulted ceilings. A second Bedroom. A large master bedroom with fantastic views of the valley below. A bathroom with fluffy soft towels and a large walk in shower too. The living room has a vcr and dvd player with a few movies just in case, as well as a surround sound stereo. Desk for working on your laptop computer. There is a gas grill outside for you to use also.

The space
Located in Jerome's historic "Red Light District", the apartment is on the lower level in one of the original standing buildings in Jerome.
A perfect place to come relax. 5 minute walk to the center of town.
*Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together. All other nights may be booked as single nights.***

Guests have access to the entire lower level apartment space and large patio.
Other things to note
The space does have a evaporative cooling system (instead of a traditional AC) that keeps the apartment nice and cool during the summer months.

Please be prepared for a hot and dry climate while visiting in the summer! There is no smoking, or burning of candles or incense allowed on property, and please be mindful of open flame in all desert areas while traveling.

The "Bachelor Pad" resides on the 4th floor of The Speakeasy building on Main Street in Jerome! This unique A-Frame loft boasts FANTASTIC views of Sedona and the greater Verde Valley. The A+ location, chic interior, minimalist living space, and rich history is sure to make this loft one of the most unique stays in Jerome.

The building is conveniently located on Jerome's main street, where you are sure to be walking distance from all the popular shops, boutiques, art galleries and restaurants.

The space
Before you enter into The Speakeasy's "Bachelor Pad," you will find a day bed on the front patio accompanied by the fantastic view of our Verde Valley and south Jerome.
You will enter the loft using the keyless entry lock to be greeted by the tall A-frame ceiling and the studio styled space. Kick your boots off and you will find the kitchen bar top on the right. You will then find the queen sized bed dressed in comfortable cotton sheets. There is a smart TV at the foot of the bed - feel free to utilize your favorite streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO, etc).
Make your way towards the windows to see the INCREDIBLE VIEWS and sit back on our leather loungers to soak it all in.

Head over towards the kitchen where you will find a bar top sink, dishes, air fryer/toaster combo unit, Kierug coffee maker, mugs, coffee essentials, knife set, cutting board, strainer, cocktail set, glasses, salt/pepper, and a Brita water filter.

Off the kitchen, you can find the bathroom accompanied by a shower, toilet, sink, shower, blow dryer, bath towels, and black makeup washcloths.

Smoke detectors, Carbon Monoxide Detectors and a Fire Extinguisher occupy the suite for your safety.

Guest access
The unit may be accessed easily from School Street or off of Main St; just up the stairs from "The Mockingbird." You will have access to the entire 4th floor of the building. You will have access to the "Bachelor Pad's" front patio with a day bed. You will also have access to the shared garden seating that is tucked away on the third floor. Jerome is built on a hillside.

There is ONE off street parking space located just steps away off of School Street.

This may not be the right stay for you if:

• A stone-and-earth structure literally built into the mountain.
• Walkway access with uneven surfaces and rock ledges—use good judgment and situational awareness.

Guest access
You’ll have full access to the Earth House during your stay. It’s located next door to my home, but your space is private and peaceful. Parking is available for one standard-size vehicle in a designated spot on the road. If you have a larger vehicle or special parking needs, please contact me in advance—the road must remain clear at all times.

Only two registered guests are allowed on the property. Unauthorized visitors are not permitted; bringing unregistered guests will result in cancellation without refund. If you’d like to request an exception, just reach out—I’m happy to discuss it.

This retreat is ideal for travelers seeking quiet, solitude, and a space to unplug just outside of town.

Other things to note
The home is located down a dirt road—any standard vehicle will handle it fine.

No smoking anywhere on the property.

Grill available—please clean after use or a $75 cleaning fee will apply. Please use black pots/pans stored under the grill. Do NOT use kitchen (induction) cookware on grill!

Cold plunge pool is open late Spring through early Fall. Please keep covered after use. It is fresh water and drains into the yard. If you need to drain, make sure metal filter is in the bottom of pool. Open green box in yard and use the lever closest to the garden.

Hot tub: Shower before entering, no glass, and no clothing (swimwear optional but not recommended due to detergent residue). Improper use requiring full cleaning will result in a $150 fee. Cleaned and sanitized between every guest.

If you're not sure how to use something, please ask. I'm happy to assist you!

Desert environment: The house is built into the landscape and surrounded by nature. You may encounter insects, mice, scorpions, or snakes, especially in warmer months. The home is kept clean, but please be aware and use common sense—shake out your shoes, keep screens/doors closed, and don’t leave food out.

Monthly maintenance: Landscaping and hot tub maintenance occur the second Tuesday of every month, usually around 10 AM.

The Loft is a open space where the bedroom is tuck backed in the corner. there is a small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, there is a BBQ on the deck for your use as well. There is a private bathroom with a shower. You will be able to enjoy the private deck to relax and enjoy the view.

There are over 90 stairs to the entrance of the loft. The view is well worth the climb.

Upon entering, you will be greeted by the suite's great open space and natural lighting. Make your way to the right and you'll find the master bedroom. Place your bags on the provided luggage caddies and feel free to close the master bedroom privacy curtains.

Head over to the twin beds where you will find the best views of our beautiful Verde Valley. Take off the twin canvas mattress covers to find 100% organic cotton, Percale, bed sheets ready for your great night's sleep.

As you enter the unit, using the provided smart door code, you'll be greeted by the spacious entry. Make your way to the right to find our full kitchen that is equip and ready to provide to your cooking needs. Feel free to use our full set of kitchenware, cookware, and don't forget to pour yourself a cup of our complimentary Keurig coffee!

Make your way to the master bedroom space occupied by a queen bed and personal closet space. Steps away, you will find your dining table that will also serve as your office space.

Make your way over to the other side of the room to find yourself kicked back on our two comfy couches.

Lastly, head over towards the full bathroom to find a daybed. This day bed can serve you as a single twin bed or pull and lift to make this day bed trundle a full king bed (or 2 twins).

This historical building is built on the side of the hill. You will be required to climb several flights of stairs to reach the first floor. The Vintage Victorian is a small apartment that has a full kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom is open to the living room. You will have a private sun room and balcony to relax and enjoy the view.

Other things to note
Our parking is very tight and can only accommodate small compact cars. If you have an extended cab truck or large SUV you will need to park in the public parking behind the fire station.

There is several flights of stairs that you will need to climb to reach the first floor of this historical building. Please be advised that those with health issues rent at your own risk.

Highest rentable space in Jerome. Authentically restored to it's original 1898 condition. House had been buried in mud since 1953 until the compete resurrection in 2012. The house has been described as a living museum as most furniture and furnishings are authentic to he late 1800's era.


Even though it is authentically furnished to the late 1800's, it paradoxically offers a modern bath, wifi, microwave, 6 burner natural gas BBQ, electric cook plate, WOK and deep skillet. An electric car charging option with a NEMA 15-50 plug is adjacent to the 2 parking spots.

The entire house and patios are all for the guests use. You will not be sharing the space with anyone else.

There are two tight parking spots directly to the house for guests use.

It is important that when you leave, you continue out on Magnolia in the same direction you entered. Please do not turn around and try to go out they way you came in. By exiting properly, you will eventually drive out by the Haunted Hamburger.

The street is One Way. One person in a large van has gotten stuck trying to exit the wrong direction.

The Kelly House is a perfectly renovated home in the amazing mountain art village of Jerome, Arizona. You have a well stocked kitchen with basic food supplies and private outdoor spaces. Self check in makes it easy! No need to bring water as we have an RO filter. We have ice trays but not an ice maker. If you need more ice, the bar sells big bags for $3.

Absolutely No-smoking anywhere on the property. If you smoke, you must exit the gate. We do not accept pets. We would love to, but had to change that rule.

A charming home complete with everything you will need for a weekend, a week or even a month. The lovely kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, filtered water and more is complimented by beautiful cabinets, storage and stools by the tiled counter. The large picture window looks onto an incredible VIEW of Sedona.

The bath features a cultured marble tub and sink with lovely lighting. Two queen beds with vintage furniture are the perfect retreat. Washer and dryer in the foyer by the bedrooms is quite convenient. Located just 25 miles from Sedona, this location is perfect as a headquarters for great adventures.

If you have work to do, why not do it from a mile high perch overlooking Sedona! We have a nice office space with a desk and shelving plus office chairs and complimentary WiFi and printer.

We DO NOT have a TV. We have opted for a cool collection of old boards games.

Jerome - From Mining Boom Town to Art Destination: Once a roaring copper town, Jerome became a ghost town in the 1950's when the mines closed. There is much interesting history in this charming mile high gem. The entire town is on the National Historic Registry and The Kelly House is individually listed, as well. Because of this, the character of the town is unique and well protected. Today, the 400 residents welcome not only history buffs but art lovers to over 30 galleries and studios.

Galleries Galore: First Saturday Art Walk in Jerome was selected by The Arizona Republic as #1 weekend getaway. Stroll the streets and stop in galleries for live music, refreshments and fabulous art. The restaurants in Jerome are superb. You cannot get a bad meal here! The Jerome Historical Society presents Ghost Walk the second weekend of October. The Halloween Ball is one of the best costume parties in the USA and is put on by the Jerome Volunteer Fire Department. Sedona Film Festival is every February.

Currently there is no grocery store or general store in Jerome so stop for supplies in nearby Cottonwood.

Surrounding Area - What to do: Hiking is probably the most spectacular activity with hundreds of trails from easy to difficult. Shopping and browsing the charming galleries, shops, bars and museums of Jerome as well as nearby Old Town Cottonwood is a day full of fun, punctuated by meals at tasty restaurants. Sedona is a beautiful 25 minute drive away, full of tourist activities, including the beautiful Tlaquepaque old Mexico style shopping complex. The Verde Canyon Railroad and Tuzigoot - incredible Indian ruins are just down the hill in Clarkdale. There are 5 Jerome wine tasting rooms, all an easy drive from Jerome.. If you love photography or painting, Jerome offers limitless opportunities for your artistic pursuits.

Convenient parking is coveted in our town on a hill but that is no issue here with parking in the driveway right in front! Should you have more than one vehicle please let us know and we can inform you how to park in the front to not block the garage for the upstairs unit. Just a short decent down our stairs to access to this adorable studio suite (people with mobility issues might find renting the upstairs unit a better fit for them).
