Well equipped with all the bells and whistles, including a 'Margaritaville' slushy drink maker. Kitchen updated in January 2022 with new cabinets plus new seating in dining area. The back yard, grill, and outdoor furniture were great for enjoying the warm weather. We were able to watch all of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament games on the large SMART TVs using our streaming service. Grocery stores including Costco are within 10 minutes of the rental. We liked that White Tank regional park was close for hiking. There are some nice golf courses within a 30 minute drive. We know that when you’re looking for a place to vacation and get away, you want to be sure its going to feel like a home not a house and that it’s going to be QUALITY. That’s exactly what you will find in this beautiful home. It’s been renovated from top to bottom with the attention to detail with you in mind. Stainless steel appliances, granite counters in the baths and kitchen, 22” tile floors on point, new furnishings throughout and it’s well stocked too so you feel like you can put your feet up right away. The private master suite is well appointed with natural tones and textures and a ultra-luxury king mattress/bed set complimented by a private master bath. There is a full guest bath off the hall with a deep tub for soaking and lots of light for those early morning grab and go showers; lovely details too with granite counters and bronze finishes. The guest bedroom is awash with SW colors, calm and serene with a comfy queen bed, and space to read or to get a bit of work done at the work center. There is also a new leather queen pull-out couch in the living area for those times when you have a few extra guests or littles who comes to stay; that makes room for 6! (we suggest that 4 is a most comfortable number).

The house is set up for entertaining; the private backyard oasis with a fabulous new Shasta pool an patio - walled for peace and quiet so you can catch up on your latest favorite read or enjoy a swim after some pickleball. Its a perfect place to gather friends and family under the oversized covered patio with entertainment lighting overhead for when the fun flows into the evening. Day or night, pull up an Adirondack chair to the firepit on the grassy area; grab some smore fixins, and watch as smiles and laughter fill the space. From the SS BBQ outback to the well-appointed cook’s kitchen that flows to the dining and living spaces; the floor plan is great for cozy conversations to a nice gathering for folks for a meal. The high-quality furnishings and finishes along with the attention to details & amenities, make you want for nothing and may even make you think of extending your trip!

If you’re one who likes to pack in some PLAY time while on vacation well, The Grand will not disappoint. You are right in the center of the best Surprise, AZ has to offer; The Grand boasts, 3 championship golf courses, tennis and pickle ball courts, putting greens, and 2 community centers with state-of-the-art facilities graced with lap pools, play pools, adult pools, 18 person spas, stunning workout centers, cafes, game play areas and so much more; there are even 2 full service restaurants within SCG! (all resort facilities are for guests staying 30 days or more w/a fee). Del Webb thought of everything when they built Grand - watch a softball game just up the street at the The Grand field (those ladies and gents are good), take a stroll on wide wandering walking/riding paths to your next adventure, and see some wildlife or head up to the Café at Adobe for one of their famous $1 monster ice cream cones or a great breakfast sandwich and relax by the babbling brook and waterfalls in the square. If you want to sit back and watch the action, you can always bring your baseball cap and take in a game at one of the surrounding sports complexes for cactus league baseball teams (all within 20 mins).

Surprise is just that…a place that has many hidden treasures; a perfect location to take a hike in the White Tank Mountains just a 5-minute drive away or do some shopping (love heading over to old town Scottsdale to find a few treasures), see a movie, or take in a concert. Resort living is a way of life and you can enjoy it to the fullest - there are lots of options for eating out, and if you want to explore further...go to Jerome (one of our favorite drives and towns), or Sedona just a hop up the nearest highway, get there by lunch and see those red rocks for yourself! Our personal favorite is going up to Wickenburg for an authentic Mexican lunch and taking in a few antique shops. And don’t forget one of the most awe-inspiring wonders of the U.S The Grand Canyon, it’s just a few hours away...if you haven't been there, consider taking the train or hop in the car and see the stunning desert landscapes on your way!

This home may also be rented together with another fabulous HomeAway/VRBO property (with a pool and hot tub) if both are available at the same time - just a 1 minute golf cart ride from each other - the other home is larger and has a pool so together they make the perfect family vacation! - "Fabulous location to enjoy all things Sun City Grand has to offer. The house and pool offered a great opportunity to relax and enjoy. Definitely recommend this property!" - "This home is beautifully decorated and clean. It is located close to the Cimmaron community center for the pool and gym etc. We played dominoes and lawn bowling which is nearby. If you have guests they have their own full bath. The patio outside is covered. Lots of privacy, and friendly neighbors who brought fresh oranges! There is a lemon tree on this property so when it grows you will have fresh lemons. Close to the walk and bike trail. The garage has 2 bikes and a golf cart. Many great golf courses nearby. Dog parks nearby. There is a bbq and propane fire pit outside. And, the beds are comfortable. I am glad I brought cleaning cloths to keep the home clean as I did not locate any here. ( just a tip) We would rent here again."

164TH Surprise home is located in Surprise, just 29 miles from Copper Square and 29 miles from Phoenix Convention Center. This property offers a private pool and free private parking. State Farm Stadium is 19 miles away and Deer Valley Rock Art Center is 20 miles from the vacation home. With free Wifi, this 5-bedroom vacation home features a TV, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and oven. Towels and bed linen are offered in the vacation home. There's also a seating area and a fireplace. Guests at the vacation home can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Castles and Coasters is 23 miles from 164TH Surprise home, while Pioneer Living History Village is 24 miles from the property. The nearest airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, 32 miles from the accommodation.

Fully furnished bungalow available for those who just have the urge to go golfing, winter vacation or relocating to the Phoenix Area. Our house has 3 bedrooms , the master has a king bed and ensuite /the second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third a twin . There is an additional bath between the second and third bedroom. All furniture in the dinning/ living room are newer, along with kitchen appliances and washer and dryer. The kitchen cabinets and granite have been updated. All flooring is tile or laminate.
The house is an easy 25 min drive from the phoenix airport, close to many shops, restaurants, golf courses, arrowhead mall, 303 freeway, surprise stadium - home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals, University of Phoenix stadium. We cannot accommodate cats, but will consider small non-shedding dogs.

NOTE: We are unable to rent our vacation home for less than 30 days due to our local HOA bylaws.
