The space
Guests and their fur babies have access to separate and private 250 sf suite. Also have access to the backyard/courtyard until 10 p.m. Smaller dogs could possibly get under the fence. This is a shared area with Joe and I, but we respect the privacy of our guests.

Guest access
Guest have access to the patio, the hot tub and the BBQ grill until quiet hours begin. Quiet hour are from 10 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

This is a quiet neighborhood so please be respectful of our neighbors.

Other things to note
We have a TV that you can use your streaming service.

We have installed a water pause shower head to help conserve. We set it to pause, but all that is needed to make the shower work is to rotate the sprayer head till you find the setting that is right for you then pause it again.

There is not a door on the bathroom but privacy is provided by a curtain, and the entrance is approximately 75 feet walking distance from your car.

To work the burners turn on the power, set the temperature and place the pot or pan on surface. It will not heat up until you put the pan on the surface and will only work with induction ready pans.

The Cottage is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath guest house centrally located near downtown Prescott. Enjoy your visit to Prescott in a quiet neighborhood that affords easy access to the historic courthouse plaza, tourist popular Whiskey Row and local shopping. The space includes 1-full bed, 1-full sleeper sofa, a breakfast nook, coffee bar and kitchenette.

The space
The Cottage is a tastefully decorated detached guest house adjacent to the host's home. The space is perfect for couples or friends coming into town looking to enjoy Prescott's sites. The guesthouse is spacious, with high ceilings, french doors to the bedroom and to outside and includes a private patio with seating off the bedroom. Our place is more than cozy, it’s a nice experience for those wanting more than a hotel stay. We pay attention to detail from adding our favorite local teas, Starbucks coffee, hiking trail maps, snacks. Our farmhouse style is fresh and comfortable.

Guest access
The cottage has an electronic keyless lock so that guests will be able enter with a code that will be provided. Guests will have access to an outdoor patio and the backyard area if desired. Laundry services may be available upon request. An off-street parking spot is provided, with additional street parking available.

Other things to note
There is one step up to the bathroom which has a shower.
The cottage is not childproofed. Parents should note that there is an unfenced shallow pond in the back yard with fish and a turtle. Children should be supervised for safety and to ensure that the pond dwellers are not disturbed.

Granite Mountain views is a spacious studio that is a walk out below our home, fully furnished. Only access is from the outside. We do live above the studio.

There is a kitchenette, large bathroom, Queen bed, full sofa sleeper, and no carpeting. There is parking on site and a private deck to enjoy.

It is 5.4 miles to historic downtown Prescott, 4.5 miles to the “Worlds Oldest Rodeo”, 1.4 miles to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and 11 miles to PV Event Center.

The space
This Studio (440 sq ft) has its own private entrance and easy access. There is plenty of parking and well lit path. There are a few uneven stairs to get to the studio. If you have mobility issues this could be difficult, and would not be wheel chair accessible.

The Studio has its own heating and cooling unit that is controlled by the guest. So you can determine your own comfort level.

The kitchen is fully furnished with toaster oven, microwave, Keurig with coffee pods, large refrigerator, dishes, pans, small crockpot, utensils and cook plate.

The private deck has a propane barbecue grill. Please note it is possible that the propane is empty if that is the case just let us know as we try to keep it filled. Please use the grilling utensils and plastic plater when grilling. Enjoy!

Many great places to eat near by as well as grocery stores if you like to prepare your own meals. There are several coffee shops that are walking distance from the studio.

The bathroom has towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. There is also a large closet area with shelves. There is room to store luggage in the closet area. There is a large walk in shower.

There are two lakes near by for bass fishing and kayaking. This is also a great home base to visit sites in Northern Arizona. Beautiful Sedona is 80 minutes away and the Grand Canyon is about 2 hours away. You can come back to relax in this lovely Studio after a long day of exploring.

Guest access
This is a fully contained Studio and you will be the only one with access during your stay. There is NO access from the main house.

There are uneven stairs down to the studio. If you have mobility issues this might not be the right place for you.

There is a private deck to enjoy your morning coffee, meals or beautiful Arizona sunsets. There is ample parking on site.
The studio is below the main house so you may hear noises from the rooms above.

Cozy mother in law's quarter's in a quiet neighborhood with your own front porch and front lawn. Located just outside historic downtown Prescott within fifteen minutes of hiking trails at the base of granite mountain, and just as close to Watson lake or Granite Dells. The Prescott Place is located on the owner’s property, but detached from the house. It has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room all on the ground level. Surrounded with Boulders and pine trees our home is secluded and quiet, yet only 1.3 miles from the lively hustle and bustle of our downtown Prescott. And .5 mi to the Rodeo fair grounds. 3 houses down from a beautiful neighborhood park with playground for kiddos, basketball court and picnic tables, and just a 5 minute drive to Thumb Butte, our historic land mark.

Kirk's Kasita is attached to our home. While it's attached by the main living room wall in the Kasita they are completely separate spaces. There was a great deal of forethought that went into the layout so that the kasita feels completely separated even though it does share 1 wall. Also, the Kasita has it's own private entrance.

You'll have full access to the entire Kasita. All 900 square feet will be yours for the duration of your stay. Also, the private patio off the master suite is yours as well. The property off the private patio is a great place to walk the pups on a leash. While the kasita can see some of the main homes backyard we ask that you stay on the property near the kasita for optimal privacy.

Welcome to the LITTLE BUNKHOUSE. There is a field with pathways, a bridge to cross and camp site for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. It is Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. There is a challenging putting green. The bunkhouse has 1 queen bed with a small kitchen and bath. This is the place for a peacful getaway for relaxation and only 8 miles to the heart of Prescott. Plenty of hiking right accross the the main road and several small lakes for kayaking or picnicking just minutes away.

The $115 pet fee will be charged and payable through Airbnb once you've made us aware of the pet. Pets or no pets: It’s the guest’s responsibility to make Wanderlust Prescott Retreats aware of a service animal or emotional support animal that will be staying at the property before check in. Once made aware, you will be sent an email of our policy on this matter. The space
As you enter the front door, directly to the left is a cozy private bedroom with a queen bed on an adjustable base. After a long day, it feels amazing to plop down and kick your feet up as you doze off to deeply restorative sleep.

Walking up the single flight of stairs you will be greeted by an open floor-plan loft. To your right, there is a door that leads to a small balcony overlooking an idyllic neighborhood.

In the main space of the loft, there is a queen daybed. Whether you use it for seating or sleeping, you will appreciate its utility and comfort. This is not a flimsy pull-out sofa, this is a real queen mattress. Sooo extra! In front of the bed, you will find a comfy couch to enjoy as well.

At the far end you have an equipped kitchen and dining area with windows on all sides. The light streaming through the windows and the colorful appliances and supplies make cooking and eating a fun and bright experience.

Whether you are sitting at the breakfast bar or the farmhouse dining room table, opening the windows will allow you to hear the rustling sound of the leaves in the wind and the wildlife singing to you as you enjoy your stay!!

On arrival, you will conveniently pull up to the purple front door of the space on a 2-car circle gravel driveway built just for this unit.

Entry codes will be provided prior to check-in.

You are able to access every part of the space within the purple door unit except for the closet in the main living area, which holds extra supplies.

Other things to note
There is a second rental unit on the property. There is no shared space between the units or parking spaces but you may see other guests in their designated parking area or their courtyard.

Laundry: There is a washer and dryer in the main home that I reside in on the property (not in the tiny home). Personal laundry service is provided on request at $5 per load, with a 24-hour turnaround time. Stays of 3 nights or more will be provided with 2 loads of laundry per a week for free.

Early check-in & late checkout are sometimes, but not always, available on request. I try my hardest to accommodate, but multiple factors can affect the availability of these options. I request $10 per early check-in if it is more than 1 hour earlier than the listed check-in time. I also request $10 per late checkout if it is more than 1 hour later than the listed checkout time.

The home is in a forest. You may see wildlife such as deer, javelina, rabbits, insects, bugs, and other forest animals in the outside areas.

There is 1 small friendly dog on the property, his name is Jaxon. He does not have access to any part of the space associated with your unit, however, there is a window in the downstairs bedroom that looks out to a courtyard where you may see him roam.

There are 2 Wall A/C units, one upstairs and one downstairs. There are also 2 ceiling fans. While the loft is able to stay cool, temperatures will hover around 74 degrees during the hottest parts of the day in the middle of summer. Leaving some windows cracked will help keep the A/C units functioning at their coolest.

All guests are certainly welcome, but there is a set of stairs. Please keep that in mind when booking.

While we don’t offer Cable, the TV's are equipped with Roku's to enjoy watching all of your guilty pleasures. So feel free to BYOL (bring your own login) and log in to any service you're subscribed to using the guest access feature of the Roku.

The Property is 1.25 acres so it feels like a park located in a neighborhood--the best of both worlds! It feels like a park but is located near shopping and events!
The Meadow is out front of the Nest. Beyond the meadow is a Seasonal Creek! It runs after Monsoon Season in July or August or after snow melts in the winter and sometimes we have ducks!
There is seating in the meadow and anti-gravity chairs to gaze at the stars and meteors! We get lots of birds and wildlife. We see lots of Hummingbirds, Goldfinches, House finches, Mourning doves, Spotted Towhees, Nuthatches, Ravens, Sapsuckers, Acorn Woodpeckers, and Hawks and occasionally Western Tanagers, Orioles, Flickers, Jays and a Great Horned Owl one summer! Arizona gets bird migrations going both north and south. Other wildlife includes javelina, deer, raccoons, skunks, coyotes, gophers and little ground squirrels.

Torme's, a new Italian Bistro, created by our Premier chef, Barry Barbe, is 2.5 blocks away. He also owns El Gato Azul and made the Hilton menu.
The World's Oldest Rodeo is 2 Blocks away. Sometimes there are roping events, shooting from horseback and barrel-racing competitions! There are other events during the year also.
