We are offering a small efficiency rental to the side of a main house. There is one queen bed and NO kitchen. The weather up here is beautiful. We are the closest rental to the national Forest where you can hike and use motorized vehicles.
The space
We offer a bedroom with a modern bathroom. A closed in front yard for your dog. And a small patio with a table and chairs around the corner in the back yard and a picnic table in the front yard.
Guest access
You are welcome in the guest house and yard. The front yard is for the guests dogs. The patio in the back is also for guest use.
Other things to note
Please tell us at booking time if you are bringing a pet. There is a fee of $20 per pet stay. Please do not lock your dog in the guest house and leave for the entire day. They should stay with you.
We have outdoor security cameras. One on the playground, one on the front yard, one on the side of the front yard, and one pointing at the driveway.

You are able to park on the left side of the driveway and privately access the studio along the left side of the garage.

This captivating casita is a short 15-minute drive to the Town of Pinetop. Relax after a day of downhill skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, sledding or cross-country skiing with a craft beer at the Pinetop Brewery. Dine on Mexican, Thai, German, Italian and American cuisine at one of Pinetop’s fine restaurants and top off the evening with music at the Lion’s Den Pub.

Hiking trails are mere seconds from the front door! It features a private sitting area with an 1800's ghost town facade for guest use. This private cabin will sleep 2. No cleaning fees!

Are you (and a partner!) ready for a relaxing weekend under the tall Ponderosa Pines in Pinetop? If so, you've found the perfect place!
You can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or wine, or even partake in a spirited game of Yahtzee, Battleship, or cards in the quiet, private courtyard beside the caboose with an 1800's ghost town theme! After a hike or day spend shopping for that perfect antique or exploring our beautiful area, you can binge watch one of your favorite shows on one of the two TV's connected to Netflix. You might even find your long forgotten favorite movie in our small collection to watch on the provided DVD/Bluray player.
The Caboose will sleep 2 in a queen size bed. The space is chock full of amenities, so please feel free to ask about any particular items you may require. We have washers and dryers on premise for a fee. Wi-fi is provided.
The Caboose is situation at the rear of a quiet 1-1/3 acre parcel bordering the National Forest. This is one of 11 cabins and is the only short-term rental. Your hosts live on site so we are always available for questions or conversation. It is located minutes away from Hondah Casino, shopping, restaurants, lakes, and off-road trails.
Our property is quiet and peaceful. We expect our guests to respect our tenants and neighbors by keeping the atmosphere quiet and peaceful. Sorry.. . there are NO PETS allowed and NO SMOKING (including vaping) anywhere on property. Maximum of two guests allowed in this space. Even though this has a child friendly theme, it is not suitable for children or infants.

Guests will have the entire Caboose along with the outside area behind the Caboose, which features a ghost town facade and includes a table and chairs for our guests exclusive use. One parking space is available and located directly beside the Caboose. Please contact us before bringing a second vehicle.
Other things to note
The caboose is set-up for a MAXIMUM of 2 guests. There are 11 cabins on our 1-1/3 acre property, however this is our only short-term rental. There are cameras located on the separate laundry room which will record the interior laundry room, driveways, and some exterior common areas.

Right in the heart of town, close to hiking trails and Woodland Lake Park. Walking distance to Darbi's Cafe.

The space
Cozy one bedroom with a couch in the living space. Tasteful decor with TV and internet access in living room. Two car garage attached (shared with second Unit) that has a wood pellet grill and TV for outdoor/indoor entertaining.
Please note: the garage entertainment, hot tub, and backyard are all shared with the second unit.

Guest access
You may use anything within the structure including the backyard and garage! Please note the Can-Am is a separate rental (available from April 1- November 15) and liability waivers must be signed prior to use. Cost for rental is $300/day and $500 for two days.

Hot tub usage instructions:
After using the hot tub please make sure to put in one package of chemicals into the hot tub -- if 4 or more people use the hot tub put two packages in. The chemicals are in a bucket on the steps as you climb into the hot tub, there are instructions listed on the bucket, as well. You can get back in immediately after the chemicals have been used, however we do prefer you do this when you are finished using the hot tub that day/night. This makes for a better hot tub experience for you, future guests, and for our maintenance team. Thank you!
Pet owners & lovers: We love offering the opportunity to bring your four legged family but the downside is they can cause damage, so please be aware of the the potential for that. If you have a pet please do your best to monitor their activity while in our home.
Please note in the winter months this mountain town can receive a lot of snow in shorts amount of time. We do suggest a 4x4 vehicle if possible, for your safety in the area.
