A very warm welcome to 'number eleven', a rather unique stay in one of the Addycombe Cottages. This is a Victorian Grade II* listed apartment in the town of Rothbury, overlooking the Coquetdale Valley. The space is peaceful, welcoming and relaxing. Perfect for a romantic escape or a family adventure. Dogs are considered part of the family and are very much welcome.
You will have this first floor apartment to yourselves accessed via the original stone steps to the rear. The living space is open plan featuring an AGA in the kitchen area and a double stove in the inglenook stone fireplace.
A double and a twin bedroom accommodate 4 guests comfortably.
The bathroom has a walk in shower, a slipper bath and for your comfort, under floor heating.
On road parking is available to the rear.
Outside, a short walk from the back gate, there is an enclosed private small garden space where you can sit and have a morning coffee or evening glass of wine amongst the fruit trees.
The terrace of houses were built in 1873. Lord Armstrong commissioned Richard Norman Shaw, the architect of nearby National Trust Cragside House to design and build this row of houses to give retirement homes to the staff of his estate. Designed in a distinctive Domestic Revival style, you can see why visitors come to admire them.

Mia's Place A stunning Lodge to relax and unwind
Mia's Place is a beautiful lodge for 4 guests. Nestled in a gorgeous scenic aspect on Felmoor Country Park in Northumberland, with a south facing aspect and a wrap around terrace, it provides a quiet holiday base from a family or friends.
Built in 2019, it has all the mod cons you would imagine including large fridge freezer, washing machine. Mia's has two bedrooms which are a king size with walk in wardrobe and a twin, with an en-suite to the master bedroom.
The living space is modern and bright with fabulous comfy furniture and open plan kitchen/living. A wonderful communal space for all to share with free WiFi
With central heating and additional fire it's an all year round lodge - warm and cosy and romantic for two, or a haven for a family.
The Hot Tub adds that extra touch of luxury - imagine soaking up the bubbles whilst doing a bit of start gazing or simply watching the sun go down. A wonderful experience any time of year.

Sitting high up, Sirona has stunning views for miles, it's a must for families and friends this year. Add in free golf on the park, gorgeous woodland walks, and multi sports court, it really has got everything. There is a bar / restaurant on the far side of the site, a lovely 15 -20 minute stroll through the woods and across the golf course.

Getting Around:

- "The apartment itself is absolutely amazing, everything you need & so clean. The view over the Marina is lovely & plenty of green space for a dog to run !! However...the back alley shared entrance isn't mentioned & the alley is quite dark at night especially if you were returning on your own. Amble is lovely but some parts are very run down.Overall we had a lovely stay , the apartment is lovely & the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Maybe something could be done with the back alley & entrance, but that isn't just down to the hosts at all . "

Stay in the heart of Northumberland in our two bedroom lodge with all the facilities needed for a relaxing getaway. With a fully equipped kitchen, you can make this your home during your stay while being able to relax in your own four person hot tub! We have you'll need from linen to a large flat screen TV with Freeview Channels, as well as a DVD player.
Hazel Oaks provides comfortable, relaxing, and modern accommodation for up to six people.
The master bedroom has a double bed with a built in wardrobe and an En-suite. The twin bedroom is fitted with twin single beds, and a wardrobe. There is also a separate family bathroom equipped with a full size shower. There is a further fold out occasional bed located in the living space to accommodate a further two guests.
Hazel Oaks has a spacious large open plan living space with French doors leading to the wrap around decked area where you can sit in comfort and appreciate the outstanding holiday park.
The spacious living room has a cosy pebble effect electric fire, and a large flat screen TV with Freeview Channels as well as a DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need for a lodge stay, featuring modern appliances, including an built in fridge-freezer, microwave, and gas oven & hob.
Tucked away at the rear of the lodge, out of sight and sunk into the decking for total privacy is our ‘Hot Tub’ (for four), with garden furniture. Kick back and unwind in the relaxing seating area or in the soothing water of the hot tub and end your day in style.

The hot tub had a big rim around it looked dirty. No instructions to use heating/ appliances etc in welcome folder. Wifi information incorrect. Not sure if owner has been to check the lodge as it does need updating with the issues raised. Ive stayed in this park park in different lodge which was perfect."

Morpeth Court is a second floor two Bedroom duplex apartment located in Morpeth Court, the old court house. The Property is situated across the road from Carlise Park and is a stones throw away from the river and the centre of Morpeth .
There is stairs or lift access to the property. On entering the apartment there is a down stairs toilet facility in the hallway. The hallway leads to a large open plan lounge and kitchen with floor to ceiling gothic style windows. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and has a washer, dish washer, microwave and fridge freezer.
The Lounge has comfy sofas and a small dining area.
On leaving the lounge a staircase leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom.

A private apartment set in the heart of the picturesque village of Rothbury. Ideal if you're looking for a private hideaway that's only 100m from the local pubs, shops and cafes.
This flat is a part of a brand new property that we built from scratch in 2019. It was a 3 year build that has been a labour of love but something we're very proud of.
The space
The Hideaway was initially built for when we have family and friends to stay so we've done it up and furnished it to the highest standards. We realised that we don't actually have guests more than 5 or 6 times a year so we thought why not let it out to those that want to visit? So that's what we’ve done.
The apartment is split on two levels, the ground floor comprises the entrance lobby, bathroom and kitchen with the upstairs being an open-plan living room and bedroom.
The downstairs is clean and functional. The bathroom has a great, powerful shower, the kitchen has decent, good quality facilities (microwave, hob, dishwasher, toaster, nespesso coffee maker, washing machine, tumble-dryer etc) but there's no windows - it's perfectly fine but you're not going to travel all the way to Rothbury for this.
Upstairs, however, is a completely different matter. It's a beautiful open-plan living room and bedroom. It's light and airy but completely private and secluded. It's got a lovely king-size memory foam mattress, a huge (overly expensive) sofa and 50" internet-ready Samsung TV - which you don't even have to leave the bed to enjoy. When its empty I sometimes just go and sit-in there, put the TV on, have a coffee and wish my life was this calm and simple all the time. It genuinely is a lovely relaxing place where you can forget about the real world for a week.
We're really happy to host anyone that's looking to come to our lovely village of Rothbury and get to know the area. Hope to see you soon :)

The beds were comfortable and lovely bedding. Access to the key was easy and location easy to find with free on street parking. The flat can be a tad noisy depending on who your neighbours are as the flat above is rented too. Sitting on the edge of the marina where you can sit and watch the boats in Amble’s harbour come and go, either from the comfort of the living room or out on the balcony with the fresh sea air. The property’s central location makes it easy to mosey on down to the local restaurants and pubs. Some charming coastal shops, cafes and tearooms are also within easy reach and being able to park up and leave your car in the private parking is a real bonus. If you’re looking for a unique activity to do during your stay, we highly recommend a trip out to see Coquet Island, you can take a boat from the pier during the summer months out to the island to see some local coastal wildlife.
You can also walk north along the River Coquet to Warkworth with its medieval castle and dune-backed beach art gallery and shops or just a short 10 minute drive away is Alnmouth with its lovely beach and golf courses. The villages of Seahouses and Bamburgh are a little further north and take around 25 minutes to reach by car.
Inside, the apartment has a bright and airy, open-plan living space with enormous floor to ceiling sliding doors and window taking up almost the whole harbourside wall of the property to take full advantage of the spectacular sea views. Our 1st floor flat is a great base to enjoy the Northumberland coastal attractions. Located just off Amble High Street with the lounge and bedrooms having wonderful views towards Warkworth and beyond.

The Garden Rooms is a private apartment, just 150m from the centre of Rothbury. The property comprises a studio room complete with mini kitchen, dining area, large sofa and TV. The best feature is the enormous window that over looks the garden and wood. Complete with a luxurious shower room and WC plus a cosy bedroom with king-size memory foam mattress bed and internet-connected TV.
The space
Although very separate from the main part of the house the apartment does back on to our family home. It comes with a very small amount of associated noise. The noise is pretty much what you'd expect from a normal family home (only quieter as you’re effectively in your own wing of the house). We can’t guarantee it will be a completely silent retreat but, that said, we're not up partying all night so almost all noise should stop between approx 11pm and 7am.
We're cordoned off the shared entrance (utility/boot room) so it's easy to see which bits you can use but we do have two friendly and enthusiastic dogs that you might encounter on their way back from a walk.
The flat is only accessible by stairs and we don't have any provision for disabled access. We ask that no outside footware is worn upstairs (there's a guest coat and shoe rack at the bottom of the stairs).
Other things to note
Please note: We've done everything to a very high standard, however, the drive is yet to be tarmaced and is a little rough around the edges (we've knocked the prices down to make up for it). Aside from this everything else internally is fully finished and done to a standard that we're very pleased with.
Also, there is currently no curtain on the big window. This isn't really a problem as it would be a bit of a stretch to peer in from the nearby footpath....but maybe keep your pants on when you're in the kitchen...just to be safe.

Our property is a spacious apartment over two floors which is bursting with character, including a feature fireplace and wood burner. We are located right in the centre of Rothbury and are ideally located within a 1minute walk of pubs, restaurants, cafes and all of the unique independent shops which are on offer.
The space
Our spacious accommodation is located above our family run business (woodland stove centre) on the high street of Rothbury. Enter through a main door and up one set of stairs to the entrance of the apartment.
The apartment is set over two floors.
On the first floor -
Large spacious living and dining area with feature fire place and wood burning stove, dining table seating 6, sofa's and 40inch smart TV with access to Netflix, Iplayer, Prime etc. In the living room, you will find an array of books, games and jigsaws to help you enjoy your stay with us. We also provide things to help keep the children entertained. The first basket of logs are provided, additional logs can be purchased downstairs.
Kitchen equipped with electric cooker (hob/grill and oven), microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and a washing machine. You will also find Washing machine and washing up liquid are provided. d. You will find tea, coffee and sugar alongside a small welcome gift.
Newly fitted bathroom with a large walk in power electric shower, toilet, sink and cabinet, mirror and towel rack. Towels provided.
Second floor -
Bedroom 1 - Very spacious bedroom with kingsize sleigh bed, large chest of drawers and wardrobe. There is amply space in this room for a travel cot which we can provide on request or a small double z - bed on request (own bedding required for the additional bed).
Bedroom 2- One double bed and one sofa bed.

Bedroom 2 is a small room that has a day bed which pulls into a queen sized bed. It can be set up as a single bed to sleep one or a queen bed to sleep two. When it is set up as a queen sized bed there is very limited room and you will need to get in and out of the bed from the bottom.
The living room has a 50" smart TV, a large sofa, a fireplace with an electric log burner and a dining room table to seat four.
We welcome guests of any age. Please note that there are stairs and there are no stair gates so you will need to keep an eye on little ones. A high chair, travel cot, baby bath, baby crockery is available upon request.
The property has gas central heating. An aircon machine is available in hot weather upon request. However, this will only cool one room at a time.
WiFi, bed linen, towels are all provided.
