Outside , rubbish in front of the door and side….. Was not cleaned while we were there. Owner was notified…..My husband had to sweep the rubbish away from entrance… Needs to have amenities upgraded. Towels, pots and pans , could not use them, so old and grungy. Would have been nice to have been able to cook as we were staying there for 8 days. Utensils very sparse. Would have given it a five star rating if amenities had been more up to standard. And outside was clean."

Large windows flood the space with natural light and perfectly capture the beautiful vistas, making this an ideal base in the heart of Sunderland. *Please be aware that the elevator in the building is currently out of order*

Located in the centre of town, you will be within easy walking distance of everything Sunderland has to offer. Sunderland Train station is less than a 10 minute walk away. Hendon Beach is just a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk away.
Getting Around:
Being so centrally located, most of what Sunderland has to offer is within easy walking distance. Sunderland Train station is less than a 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride away. There are a number of bus routes servicing the road outside the building, linking other parts of the city. There are also regular trains to Central Newcastle taking around 40 minutes.

The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to make basic meals. Just bear in mind that it is kitted for 2 people.

A spacious loft apartment with plenty of light. With a central location situated just 2 minutes from the city centre, Park Lane Bus and Metro Station, popular shops, bars and restaurants. The University of Sunderland City Campus and the renowned Empire Theatre are just up the road for those visiting there. The beautiful Mowbray Park is also just a few minutes walk away.

A busy and vibrant area, there are plenty of amenities on your door stop. Shops, pubs, bars, takeaways are all within walking distance. The Empire Theatre, Sunderland Royal Hospital and University City Campus are all within 5 minutes walking distance.
Guests will have full access to the property. There are three double bedrooms, a bathroom with walk in shower and a separate open plan kitchen and living area. All rooms have comfortable double beds and all basics will be provided such as towels, tea, coffee, toiletries etc.
The property is situated on the top floor of this recently refurbished Victorian property. The property was only completed the previous year so is modern and comfortable and perfect for those visiting the city. Our usual guests range from people visiting the city for leisure to contractors working in the North East and those visiting the university.
The flat is located in such a convenient place you shouldn't really need transport into the city centre. The Park Lane depot has the Metro line which runs throughout the day till late at night and is super efficient. It runs all the way to Newcastle and is cheap to use. Park Lane is also a bus depot so coaches travelling from London up to Scotland all stop off and pick up from here. A few minutes walk further into the city there is the main train station which includes trains from London etc. Again all of this is close enough to walk in Sunderland from the flat. Taxi's are however cheap to use here so that is always an option. If you are visiting for the football then the Stadium of Light is covered by many buses and Metro's throughout the day and is even walkable should you want to.

Our property consists of your own private room which includes essentials for your stay. The property includes a shared bathroom with your own designated cupboard. The property also has a shared kitchen which again includes your own designated cupboard and appliances for everyone to use such as a cooker, air fryer and slow cooker.
Guest access
Once guests enter the building, they are required to go up the stairs and enter our property through the door with the number 4 on. Guests can then roam around our property and have all access to the bathroom and kitchen that is shared by other guests staying. Guests must not go into any other room other than their own. Guests can access the back yard where the wheelie bins are if they wish to discard their rubbish, to access the yard they will need to go back down the stairs and go towards the back of the building, on their right there is a door to enter the yard. Guests please be mindful of other tenants living in the building.
