- "My wife and I were in Long Island for a wedding and we needed a little place to stay. We were spending most of our time out doing things, but this little place was a great place to relax and recharge at the end of the day. We loved the area, Valley Stream is a cute little place on Long Island. We used public transport for everything and it was great to be within walking distance of the Valley Stream LIRR station (about 15-20 minute walk). When you first enter the back yard of the property it was like a little oasis, there was a nice balcony and comfy chairs outside to sit. The neighborhood was very quiet and cute, only heard the sound of airplanes taking off or landing at JFK. The bed was super comfy, there is a nice tv to watch some streaming services. The little AC unit cooled the room down very quickly. The bathroom was nice, the shower has a bench, which is awesome. Overall we loved our stay."

- "We enjoyed the stay at this quaint second floor apartment. A few small tweaks could have given the stay a 5 star visit. It was a bit smaller than expected but it fit our family well. We would have liked to have some extra sheets and blankets to use the pull out sofa and trundle that were available."

Please keep in mind that this is a basement apartment. As such, there are some insect that occasionally find their way into the space. You may not encounter any at all, however we wanted to mention the possibility.

Also, there are 3 children under 10 years old in the home above the apartment. You will hear lots of steps and little voices during the day and early evening.

There are two seperate sleeping areas - the private bedroom has a queen-size bed and the NEW entrance via that bedroom. The living room has a full-size bed and a queen size sleep sofa.
