Warmbad Villach, the famous thermal bath, the spa gardens and the starting point for an extensive area for relaxed hiking can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

In about 15 minutes by car you can reach the valley station of the Gerlitzen mountain railways. 40 minutes after leaving the apartment you are at the summit at 1909 m above sea level. At the foot lies Lake Ossiach with the possibility of swimming and a boat ride.

In 5 minutes you can reach the "Villacher Alpenstraße" driveway to our local mountain Dobratsch.

The lakes around the city can also be reached in a short time:
Approximately 15 minutes to Lake Faak - here you have free admission to the Drobollach lido.

The Drau cycle path is about 1 km from the house. You can reach the "Silbersee" in a short time, or explore the area's further bike paths.

As I said, you can reach Lake Ossiach in about 15 minutes. At the "bikebeach St. Andrä" in the city of Villach, you can swim with free admission. There is only a fee for parking.

In the city center you will find shops, bars and restaurants that invite you to shop and enjoy.
Several shopping centers can be reached in a short time by car.

Small detour to Italy? 30 km from the property is Tarvis (Italian Tarvisio). The first place after the border invites you to visit the famous market, have an espresso in a trattoria or maybe even visit nearby Monte Lussari.

Also worth a trip: Kraijnska Gora (25 km) or picturesque Bled (55 km). Shortly after the border you will reach these two places in Slovenia.

Also interesting for train travelers: You get on the train at your home and arrive at Villach Central Station. A bus connection (line 2) takes you in a few minutes to a stop that is about a 3-minute walk from the apartment. For detailed information, simply specify in the request.

This bright and spacious private room features a queen-size bed, TV, desk, wardrobe. Through the window, one can have a great view over the Drau River.

Located right in the heart of Villach, just steps away from supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, bars, and shops. Public transport is easily accessible.

Guests also have access to a fully equipped shared kitchen, ideal for preparing their own meals during the stay.

The space
The apartment has three bedrooms, two of which are reserved for guests, and one of which is my own. We have ample shared space, including a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. I'm usually not home during the week for work reasons, but we can often meet up early in the morning or late in the evening!

Guest access
You're welcome to use the kitchen and its utensils as you please. We have a table with six chairs, a refrigerator (I always reserve space for guests), a stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, and other appliances such as a sandwich maker, blender, pancake maker, and mixer.

In the bathroom, there's a drawer—the first one on your right—where I've reserved space for you to store your toiletries.

During your stay
I don't usually stay home, but we might meet up in the morning or late at night. I'm open to social interaction, coffee, or a conversation while we cook or eat.
